The first episode of the Vengeance saga (Ven) proposed by Angelo is perhaps the most dramatic and probably the most polarizing, introducing the concept and the primitive facets and pleasure / satisfaction that vengeance can bring. After that, I wondered, what kind of Vengeance have we pictured here? Passing the moments of Ven, the confusion and the turbulence, in which direction would it follow?
If Det was a second cinematic episode of this saga, it would be one that seems to leave room for two very different interpretations. The first is that we are facing an act of rational, calculated revenge, which still has the sweet and gratifying aspect in itself but which focuses on the execution of the plan. The second possibility that occurred to me in Det is that perhaps the revenge chosen here is not one in the sense of doing justice with one’s own hands or inflicting suffering on the other, but rather what would be an overcoming revenge, one that represents success and leads to growth.
What made me think of this possibility of dualities is the main protagonist of the second episode of this harvest, tobacco. Like various resins, tobacco has a symbolism attached to the spiritual, sacred, and can mean expansion and growth. Tobacco, however, is also an important element related to the Mafia, which makes me think of how revenge is present in many cinematic representations of various types of mafias. So there are two distinct possibilities here, which one to choose?
Personally, I see Ven as the revenge executed by overcoming emotional trauma for growth and success. There are still dramatic and intense elements in Ven, with a slightly plastic, shiny and fruity opening. But there is a balanced and somewhat spiritual energy in the way tobacco is worked – balanced in the spicy and aromatic aspect, moderately sweet, slightly floral. The complex oriental base that mixes shades of amber, incense, wood and resins also makes me think of this balanced and spiritual energy. Being Ven the center of the saga, which reserves the final episode of this revenge saga, Ta?

I was looking for reviews of this today and stumbled upon the basenotes review that seems to be made by the creator of this perfume himself-
Angelo Pregoni
in which he claims that Det, along with the other two offerings dressed in devil horns (ven, ta) are referred to as ‘the worst of perfumes’ …full out of hatred-
I was taken back and also interested in this point of view, as i certainly can relate to this feeling during my time in the fashion industry–
It can be a real peak at the tip of a triangle from which you can fall
or find shape–
and maybe for now it is in suspension
-the hanged man is one of the most beautiful in tarot
as is shows the peace of the disharmony
the stillness of letting go-
I have only smelled Det from the trio, but personally, i find success in it.
I can see that trail of ‘f*** you, luxury for the mindless-
but more than likely due to the nature of the performer mixing the potion-
it remains beyond the concept-and more than seed–
The elements of interest, mastery and beauty here that are impossible to fake-
I doubt this hand, however jaded, could make this talent vanish
So as for now the mystery remains to live and the saga will wishfully continue well beyond 2023
in suspension or other
There can be
perhaps-there must be-
a time and place where one must come to give themselves away from their own heart
If i were someone i would like to be a fool-

oh boy… let’s see.
It’s like eating candies next to a fireplace! it’s like syrup fruits on a plate on a wooden table next to a fireplace! i guess the tobacco with mint flavor is causing this burning effect. As much as i can smell peanut SHELLS only after 2 to 3 minutes as i guess this as well is bringing the burn effect on the scene mixed with the tobacco with mint flavor. quite interesting and enormous after all!
after 5 to 7 minutes the juice turns something a bit away from the first top note as the floral note comes up cause a tiny milky effect on the scene, something creamy like a moisturizer with cranberries scent! something thick & rich that covers tobacco mint scent AND the candy woody mix as i begun to feel that there is a kind of chaos after 10 minutes! the type of a bloody fight between the creamy mix and the tobacco mint mix causing an extreme sharp sweet saffron effect with Vanilla Ylang-Ylang combination! in short it’s a milky creamy fruitti sweet with a tiny bit of animalic and a binch of dark mint tobacco mixage! as i kind of feel like a burned candies there.
Quite confusing and interesting at the same time.
