I have had to come to terms with VCN. I kept telling myself, yeah, this does still smell coconutty like my first bottle. Denial isn’t good. This was my official unofficial signature. Loved it to the moon and back. It’s more fig and woody, now. My original bottle was a tester of the EDP. Had the notes of cardamom, ginger, etc. I could smell the coconut even though it wasn’t listed in the notes. And I think I said before it vaguely reminded me of a pared down Ralph Lauren Hot.
I’m halfway through my second bottle and I can not ignore the difference anymore. I get a clean-ish yet deep fig and woody scent. The original was the beach at night after the party. This is the beach at night after a storm and it’s probably haunted. It now reminds me faintly of the original Poison pared way down but that’s the feeling I get.
From love to like, it’s still long lasting and the sillage is moderate.

Each summer I was on the hunt for something fresh but intense and suitable for my gourmand taste. With Crystal Noir all the buttons clicked. It was floral, fresh but strong. I could feel musky floral shop and wet soil, amber and ginger. It didn’t last on my skin, but was eternal on my clothing.

This is a sillage monster! I know cuz my friend uses it everyday 😀 smells very unique and spicy! Try Carolina Herrera 212 Sexy if you want something similar but a bit sweeter 😉

I have a question for anyone who can answer:
I own the edt, and it must be the original formula, as its quite savory; spicy with an unsweetened coconut with a slightly soapy notr from white florals.
Im having a hard time finding the edp for a reasonable price here in Oz.
So my question is: Is it any different? Or the same as edt but better? Is it worth having both or not?
Pm me if u can help

I have just tried this fragrance for the first time and I feel compelled to start a review even before the drydown. This is wonderful! On me the opening is an almost perfect blend of spicy pepper, ginger, and coconut that is so velvety smooth it reminds me almost of a creamy vanilla. There is also a wonderful but ever so subtle citrus note. Will edit soon with update 🙂
Edit: This fragrance has lived up to all my expectations. It stayed a wonderful delicate coconut & ginger fragrance throughout. Longevity was over 8 hours and it left a moderate scent trail. Everyone that smelled it just loved it. Will definitely purchase a FB.

The smell reminds me of womanity by mugler, but not green and not fishy, I think it contains figs as an ingredient.

This is one of my favourite fragrances for years. I have edp, because the eau the toilette is very Sharp, Green so masculine on my skin since for the reformulation. /I dont undertsand it why have been reformulated. It s very wrong way… I dont understand./
So, The edp is very spicy, deep and creamy . I very love it. I dont feel the coconut, but my mum is feels on me when i wear it.
P. S: I so sad about the reformulation… /All the beautiful perfumes in the world Killed the reformulation : Dior, Guerlain, Chanel etc/ So it s very sad

I’ve been tap dancing around Crystal Noir I was unsure of what to make of it. I was testing several fragrances at a department store fragrance counter with no traffic. Crystal Noir’s bottle caught my eye… I sniffed the nozzle and liked it. I sprayed a tester card, and I liked it. I think sprayed some on my arm and I was little stunned – I smelled mostly coconut. Like an unsweetened “essence” of coconut shavings.
I was unaware of the notes… In general, I am not a coconut note fan. I find it too powerful and it just dominates the hell out of any other note.
Eventually, the coconut settles down and Crystal Noir becomes a warm, slightly peppery, smoothly dry fragrance with a creamy, milky facet. It’s not powdery. Someone left a review calling this “Nivea lotion” and I will agree… although, there is way more dynamism with Crystal Noir. It’s like Nivea lotion with a spicy men’s face shaving cream scent. There is a residual sweetness to it that I can only guess is the amber in the base… but Crystal Noir’s not “sweet” if that makes sense.
This thing is the definition of sultry – both definitions! I wear this exclusively in the late winter, early spring when it’s chilly out. It’s a dinner/night out fragrance for me… I’ll be wearing dark brown, plums, wine, rust, brick colors… I feel like those colors match this fragrance perfectly.
***NOTE***
I got my hand on the original “vintage” version… that formula has a way more pronounced citrus top note with less overall sweetness. I’m not sure which one I like more… probably the reformulation.

I bought Crystal Noir after smelling it on a friend and loving it. Now, I feel like I’m on the fence a little. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a bad fragrance, I just think it smells a bit different with my skin chemistry. I find I don’t reach for it as often as I had anticipated. On me, Crystal Noir is light fragrance that sits very close to the skin. I wish I could pick up on the coconut notes more. I definitely get the soft woody note, a bit of clean floral, and a somewhat dusty spice. Quiet and non-offensive, I regard this fragrance as more of a “lounging around in sweats” type of scent. I may try layering it with a soft coconut to see what becomes of it.
mrVAsilev – :
its elegance mysterious coconut perfume. Just love the way it smell on my skin. and for several years its to be my signature scent.
Aleksandr000 – :
Is it weird for a guy to wear Versace Crystal Noir? First time I smelled VCN was on my housemate during college time. He put it on and went out, 1 or 2 hours later I went to his room to grab something and the room smelled really amazing. When he came back I asked him about it and when he showed me the bottle I was like “why does it look feminine?” he said coz It Is for ladies.
Couple of months back I was in the perfume shop and confused “as always”, what to buy. My friend spotted VCN and he wanted to smell it just to go back in time and enjoy the memories as his ex girlfriend used to have it. I told him don’t get the wrong idea but I’m buying this gem. I don’t care if its for ladies or not.
This perfume smells very sexy and very nice. In fact, I believe it is a unisex perfume. I just got the second bottle last week.

too woody and boring …never was fond of this ..smells like mens holiday aftershave if ya ask me.

I absolutley love this perfume. If you’re like me, you don’t do well with typical floral and sweet scents, give this a try. You may try it on at Ulta, but buy online for cheaper. A 3oz. bottle online was 50 bucks. Anyhow, it’s a fall and winter must have. I am new to fragrances and notes descriptions, but trust my second sentence.
kaln-viktor2010 – :
I sampled in the store before buying online, and it smells like a billowing freshly-washed sheet with very expensive dryer sheets. It smells clean and comforting. Not what I was looking for but I need one of those as well. I see further in the comments someone pointed out the reformulated notes, the cashmeran explains the dryness I’m getting. It’s nice because the white floral was quite buttery. But I was looking for something with strong sweet and spicy for the holiday season. Not that I don’t like this, I’ll probably purchase in the future.
direkt – :
Definitely interesting. The first time I wore this I smelled it for five mind and then it disappeared. I stored it away for another time… I decided this morning to give it a try and I’m so glad I did.
First off longevity is awesome.. I still smell it after 6 hours (shocking)… Sillage I’m not sure of because I can smell it every time I move and the wind catches it but I haven’t received any comments from strangers.
Upon first applying (at 630am) I smelled the first three top notes ( ginger, Cardamon and pepper) which almost made me scrub this one off.
But as it settled in (which takes two seconds with my skin) I picked up the first three heart notes (Gardenia, Peony and orange blossom) and for me it makes wearing this worthwhile ( I adore those three scents). I don’t smell coconut at all but then again I’m glad… I love my coconut scents to be linear not blended in.
I can’t wait to smell what I get at the end of the day. This perfume is definitely unique and perfect for everyday wear.
alekc2000 – :
I bought a mini version of this online because I couldn’t find anywhere to test it. I was expecting it to be super spicy but it is not at all. I think the notes come together so well in this. It is a perfect blend of floral pepper coconut amber and wood. I believe this is a scent that people of many different note preferences will enjoy.

Finally I have bought this perfume. I had some samples of it but used them all and since long when going shopping i stumble upon other perfumes, I buy them but not particularly this one which I wanted since long. This month as well I bought other perfumes which I only heard are good and attracted my attention I bought without testing and home they were just merely satisfying for ex desquarted ‘want’ and today I saw this one in a store and couldn’t restrain myself from buying it and it seems like ‘all the roads lead to one’ in this case to Crystal noir :)) cuz I feel in my element when wearing it and it is such a comforting smell as well I love that is has great sillage and longevity❤️ happy

MEH
I’ve wanted this perfume for ages! The reviews are mixed so I thought it would be best to buy a mini rather than a bottle and I’m glad I did because I don’t smell any coconut or gardenia. The notes seem lovely but this perfume is a bit boring in my opinion.
TESTED again today (Sept 30 ’18) and I like it a little more. I get it but I’m not in love. It’s a nice, light perfume on me. Very school and office friendly. I think it actually smells clean and fresh. I’m getting a little more coconut and gardenia today…but also plastic doll hair. LOL. hilarious.

These are the official notes from the Versace website-
Head: Blackcurrant, Black Fig, Violet Hearth:Tuberose, Frangipani, Jasmine Dry Down: Sandalwood, Cashmeran, Vanilla Pod, Heliotropine
Olfactive family: floral – oriental
…im guessing these are notes for a reformulation?? Cos the one i have really doesn’t smell the way those notes would.
Maybe thats why a lot of people trying the newer ones are saying they can smell no coconut?

Elegant fresh spicy fragrance but not long lasting in my skin..
Perfect for night activities..cardamom and pepper dominate in crystal noir scent
jinkazama – :
Liked the scent on the tester strip, but literally cannot smell anything on my skin. Have tried several times on different days, but nothing. Will have to give my mini bottle away.
SECURITYMAXORLOV – :
This is a very oriental fragrance to my nose. I get lots of spicy gardenia and fleshy coconut at first, but it mellows out to reveal the soapy peony, sandalwood and cardamom. Very clean, yet sensual. Not too loud, but not quiet either! The sillage is moderate and leaves a lovely smoldering tropical trail behind you! Longevity was 7-8 hours on me, however I use the EDP which lasts substantially longer than the EDT. Gorgeous perfume. The peppery notes and cardamom might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I find they are very well-blended here! If you liked JLo’s Miami Glow or Maui Fantasy from Britney but you wished they were a bit more refined and sensual then you’ll love this!
Scent 8/10
Sillage 7/10
Longevity 9/10
vitalinka0778 – :
This one is one of my best buy (EDT).
Soft, sweet, exotic coconut juice.
Longevity = long lasting 8 – 10 hrs
Sillage = 8 / 10
Price = i paid Euro 56 for 90ml = average to cheap
Overall, many fragrance does not stay long on my skin (dry skin). This one does!
I even get a nice compliment from my male co-worker.
Beautiful fragrance.

Andriadel – :
In my opinion, Versace Crystal Noir perfume is an oriental floral fragrance when we first smell the versace crystal noir perfume will start with blackcurrant, black fig and violet, then the aroma of tuberose, frangipani and jasmine will be followed by the aroma of coconut, orange blossom. , gardenia, amber, aldehydes, cherry, and grape fruit
kuban-23 – :
it’s really lovely summer fragrance, I think.
I love the fresh spices, especially cardamom. I can’t stand the gardenia and the gardenia based perfumes like narciso rodriguez- narciso are equal to migrene.
But in this perfume, the cardamom, the coconut and the gardenia blends so well, it don’t cause a headache, it makes me sniff myself when I use it.
I find it light for winter as I prefer heavy and patchouli, vanilla based perfumes but it’s suitable for summer days and nights.

This perfume is simply gorgeous.
I first tried this in the cold but wasn’t sure how much I loved it.
This in the summer though is beautiful.
It is so creamy and delicate, also a tad bit of non overpowering spice.
The jasmine and coconut blend together so well too.
Love this stuff, perfect for a cool summers day.

Anyone crying about reformulation should go ahead and try the Montana 80. Its the same perfumer that made both. Its not exactly the same….but close enough. And it’s potent. Sillage and longevity are great. I’ve owned several bottles over the past few years and nothing about it seems to have changed. It’s also a lot cheaper!

I like this as a summer evening fragrance. It’s a bit tropical but in a sophisticated way.
Димон Белый – :
So I just went through my bottle of Crystal Noir (EDT) and I can say that as a fragrance it is really beautiful and sultry, but on my skin it lacks longevity and silage.
When I smell it out of the cap it truly has this spicy and creamy scent to it.The coconut is quite prominent and so are the gardenia and the pepper, which I just love. Unfortunately on my skin it’s very watered down for some reason and it’s really hard to smell at all,for a matter of fact. The longevity on me is also very poor, like 15 minutes or even less.
My advice is to test this first on your skin and see how it works with you.
stasbez – :
It’s dark, sexy and elegant. When I first smelled it on the paper i completly loved it. So misterious, unique and creamy!
I decided to buy it online but when i tried it on my skin i couldn’t enjoy it. It’s more spicy and kinda crisp.
My version (edt) seems to lack the creaminess of the store one. 🙁
Edit: I found out mine is the new version. that’s so sad because i really loved the old version like nothing else.
Searching and reading about it i realized that the EDP version is not at versace’s wesite anymore and the EDT listed there has a totally different composition from Fragantica. At parfumonet the EDP version still matches the old version ingredients.
maxim-3211 – :
There are a few scents I just can’t seem to smell and this is one. I’ve tried it several times including today and all I can get is something slightly sweet but watery like sugar water with a hint of pepper. I don’t get coconut or even latex. Must be my nose. Everyone says this is sexy so it’s a shame I can’t smell it. I like Bright Crystal but I’m sure they are not similar.

I feel raw coconut in it and lemons… general speaking.. perfume for everyday… some people feel its for dates and special night out…
I feel good with it at work or when I run errands… sexy…scent…btw really long lasting

Oh versace versace❤️
You are a damn GEM!
I’d recommend every female to have this!!!
You can’t go wrong, I’ve reviewed this twice before, I’ll review it 100 times more.
(I LOVE IT that much) this will definitely get you compliments.
I sprayed it on this morning before I headed to work, and received my first compliment within the first hour, by a 54 year old male.. The first thing he said was “good morning beautiful” & the second was “what perfume you got on? I can smell it from all the way there, it smells really nice”. I told him Versace crystal noir. With a massive smile on my face 😉 this thing projects like a MONSTER! And it lasts over 7 hours.
She’s beautiful, she’s different & she’ll always have a place in my collection.
sashalash1 – :
With the notes listed, I was expecting a tropical perfume. It opens as a sweetened amber fresh fruity floral and dries into a woody, spicy cardamom. I find it too heavy for hot summer days
grigneeweme – :
Blind buy the edt version, coz some reviews say the edt is more coconutty, and i love coconut in perfume. I am so glad, this perfume smells so expensive, elegant and noir. The coconut blend perfectly with the white flower, make it smelled so rich. Coconut used to be the summer scene, but not for this. Crystal Noir is more to a coconut scene for chilly fall nights.
Edit:
And i have to add my review about the longevity, this is a MONSTER. Last more than 8hour on my wrist. With a longevity and sillage like this, i’ll give this perfume 10/10.

Second review: EdT vs EdP vs Body Lotion
So I loved the EdT so much, I went out and bought both that and the EdP.
They’re very, very, very similar, but there are some differences.
On me, the EdT is all creamy, smooth coconut, amber, and sandalwood. It’s not the ultra-sweet pina colada coconut, it’s thick and seductive. Like taking a walk on the beach on a breezy summer night.
The EdP is darker, crisper, a little more raw. The pepper, cardamom, and gardenia shine through, with the coconut still noticeable underneath. Sexy and heavy, it’s feminine without being dainty or fragile. Powerful, strong, confident, seductive.
They’re both amazing and incredible, and for me, personally, it’s worth owning both. They’re so similar, but they have different “moods,” if that makes sense.
The lotion is way more subtle, and definitely has more of the suntan-lotion vibe. The scent doesn’t last very long, either, while both the EdT and EdP last forever and a day.
I like it, it’s just a bit underwhelming after experiencing the perfume. But it could be good in something like a shared office space or something where the perfumes might be too strong.
Кест – :
In crystal Noir I get a lot of peony, sandalwood and gardenia and the rest is a little bit of ginger cardamom and amber, and even though coconut is at the top of the pyramid I can’t smell any at all and at the end it drys into a peony bomb. For me there is a lot of honeysuckle and some mandarin it doesn’t last so long which is the only bad bit. This is a spring scent for day and night, it would go well with a teal silk dress and dark pink high heels.
kes – :
(Pre-reformulation EDT)
If Barnabas Collins were to stalk a California beach at night, while hiding behind a gardenia bush eating a kulfi, this is probably what it would smell like.
This elusive little thing, a dark green coconut that is not overly sweet and doesn’t make me smell like I just spilled pina colada all over myself. Cardamom grounds the gardenia so it smells more like shrubbery than the flower itself, which I like. The sandalwood base gives it a lactonic underbelly and the sensation of being surrounded by a billowy, floating atmosphere that feels as much urban as it does seaside. Like a black leather jacket over a black beach kaftan. And somehow, I like that.
svarka – :
A lot better than I was expecting – there is some detectable and delectable real spice in there, and the coconut’s reasonably true to life too – but overall it’s still miles too sweet and too generic for me to really love, or be willing to spend money on. I’d happily wear it if offered, but feel no urge to go out and buy-buy-buy.
Didn’t get any specifically indentifiable sandalwood, so it probably got lost in the general wash of gently-spiced sweetness. Yes, there are overtones of sun cream in there if you think about it too hard for too long, but generally this one is a smooth and pleasant, if totally middle-of-the-beach-road, experience. It’s never screechy or suffocating but is definitely a bit of a sensurround extravaganza – it’s very very big at first, though it contracts quite quickly and is never totally overbearing. 6.5/10 for being just a little better than it needs to be in the mass market.
hmj427speagoessenda – :
This one is interesting. I expected it to be a bit tropical with the stated white flower and coconut notes, but I do not sense any gardenia whatsoever. The coconut is an unsweetened one with a stronger dose of sandalwood. I do detect an underlying fig note to this making it very reminiscent of Benefit’s Lookin’ to Rock Rita. Not a bright or sunny holiday, but rather a sultry vacation night.

Crystal Noir EDT v EDP
About 3 years ago I blind bought Cristal Noir EDT. I can remember waiting for it to arrive. Imagining the smell of creamy coconut. What a shock I got when I first sprayed it and smelled not coconut but a strong spicy Blackcurrant. I didn’t like Crystal Noir EDT. I didn’t find it at all creamy. I didn’t find it strong. I didn’t think it had great sillage. But I did find it extremely long lasting. Especially on clothes. First spray always smelt of Blackcurrant. After that it would sometimes smell like Guerlain Samsara, other times Soap. I only ever got one tiny hint of coconut and I’m not sure if I imagined it or if it was simply a combination of notes making a coconut like smell. The worst part of Crystal Noir EDT for me came at night in bed. It would suddenly turn into a man’s aftershave. So Masculine! Eventually I gave my bottle of the EDT away to a friend.
Yesterday after sampling it for a few days, I bought Crystal Noir EDP. Very Different!
I’m not saying it doesn’t smell like the EDT. But at the same, it’s just very different. No Blackcurrant! If anything, Crystal Noir EDP smells more like pineapple. It reminds me of The Body Shops Piñita Colada. Pineapple & Coconut. I also smell Gardenia, Ginger and Pepper. I’m still not convinced it is actually a Coconut note in Crystal Noir EDP. Or still like I said above, a combination of notes making a coconut like smell. However! Crystal Noir EDP does have a creaminess to it at times. (Coconut) At other times a sourness (Pineapple) Like I said before… It reminds me of The Body Shops Piñita Colada.(Pineapple & Coconut). I still don’t find Crystal Noir EDP to be that strong. I still don’t think it has the best sillage. Just moderate. But again, I find it extremely long lasting. Especially on clothes. I find Crystal Noir EDP to be warm and spicy, and at the same time fresh and tropical smelling. But the biggest difference I find with Crystal Noir EDP, is that it smells much more warm and feminine than the EDT. I’d say Crystal Noir EDP can be worn all year round including summer. Winter for it’s warm creamy spiciness and summer due to its tropical smell.

This is coconut mixed with rotten sandalwood. Enough to give me migraine. It does not go away unless it makes me through up. scrub it bath it out , it will come back with a coconuty smile.
vanidze2401 – :
Bought a mini while searching for a coconut scent. At first sniff, I hated this – it’s a HUGE sultry slightly-spicy synthetic coconut. Overwhelmingly sweet. I thought, “I’ve made a huge mistake.”
However. The good thing about its synthetic nature is a quick and easy drydown, after which it’s quite pleasant. Still sweet but with a sensual edge and not nearly so overwhelming.
I still wouldn’t advise applying it in close quarters. I don’t see myself reaching for this a ton because I think it’s one of those ubiquitous frags right now that practically everyone owns and that’s not really my thing. I think it’ll be nice for an outside nighttime summer party, though.
morlev – :
This fragrance is probably the only one I can think of where fresh perfume lovers and oriental perfume lovers will both be in heaven! There is the DNA of the Versace Crystal line in this which makes it fresh and aquatic, but there is also the spices and perfumey heaviness of an oriental! I have to disagree with those who say that this is an evening only perfume, to me this is totally A-okay for the day even in heavy heat and humidity. The freshness and aquatic nature of this scent prevent it from becoming cloying or nausea-inducing. This scent is very nice, I love it!!
гриша – :
creamy coconut, pepper and sandalwood that’s all I can pick from it, nothing special. oh the cap just looks weird to me lol.
this scent reminds me of a friend of mine, she likes this type of creamy scent, on the right person this perfume could be match perfectly I guess,
I like coconut water, so refreshing, but coconut in perfume? not my cup of tea.

Second review:
Today is another hot day in my tropical country. And for the first time when I spray Crystal Noir I immediately smell something soapy and fresh. Then after a little while the smell turns creamy and a little bit tingling on the nose mixed with pepper. Next it get’s louder as peony and coconut thrown in. I truly love the gardenia in this perfume. Never in your face but clearly present, fresh soapy and creamy but very unique, and the dry down is calming with sandalwood joining in.
Suitable for anytime of the day or year. For me, not dark at all. Interesting and soothing, detached from others and so self-assured.
hencesoassy – :
Oh. My God.
I am so much in love with this!
Okay, so I’ve had a sample for WEEKS, but never tried it because, well I don’t know. I guess it just never really stood out to me.
Like, “Oh look, another pretty ‘noir’ floral perfume in a pretty sparkly bottle. How original.”
And finally, tonight, I decided to try it.
And ho… ly… crap, you guys.
This is what happens when the “flirty, fun, feminine” perfumes grow up.
This isn’t flirty, it’s seductive. The fun carefree girl grows into a radiant, mysterious, self-assured woman.
And the votes say this isn’t good for summer, but I disagree. I think the coconut really adds a beachy vibe. I can imagine a calm summer night, walking the beach with my date, just listening to the waves.
senior.drobot – :
Oh man, this is one seductive mystery of a scent! I’ve finally found a “night” perfume I love. And to think I passed it up for months because I found its counterparts Bright Crystal and Yellow Diamond merely likable! This one is a total gem.
What I mainly smell is ginger, musk, sandalwood, and spice. I get a little coconut and floral that balances out the more potent notes beautifully. One of my few five star perfumes (disregarding the ugly and obnoxious bottle cap).
kveresov – :
I already wrote a review but I have to write another one!
I’m forever in LOVE with the EDT, it’s a bit airier and the coconut shines in the dry-down.
This is fresh and understated sexy!
I don’t get any pepper notes, but “spicy” notes just never show on my skin anywho.
On my skin, it’s just gardenia and coconut and not at all synthetic. I think the ginger adds to the slight freshness of this fragrance.
There’s something “dark” and “sexy” about this, but the EDT can be worn during the day, it’s so friggin gorgeous!!
Whenever I spray it I think of that song “She Wolf” by Shakira,
“there’s a she wolf in the closet, open up and set her free”.
egorushka1999 – :
The drydown of Crystal Noir EdP smells EXACTLY like a bottle of sandalwood oil I got from Egypt (sold in a shop called ‘Nefertari’). I have both of them so I know. I bought a bottle of Crystal Noir because I loved how it smelled on someone. She was a tanned, sophisticated Arab beauty with dark eyes and jet black hair, it smelled so sensuous and enticing on her. Everywhere she went, the air would fill up with this creamy, spicy magical scent. There’s something commanding and regal about this scent as it wafts through the air, it’s the smell of a classy, confident woman who’s in complete control of her sensuality. I had never smelled anything like it. So when she kindly showed me her perfume, I decided to buy it almost immediately (she had the EdP, so that’s what I got). What a mistake. I can’t tolerate this scent on myself. It’s heavy sandalwood (sandalwood is the strongest note on my skin), sharp spices, musk and ofcourse, a huge bouquet of soapy white florals lightly sweetened with coconut cream. Unfortunately more sharp/woody and soapy than creamy on me. My bottle is from Sephora, purchased 4 years ago, so it’s definitely not a fake. From time to time I do a spritz or two, hoping that my chemistry has changed, and maybe I can finally wear it…but nope. One hour into wearing the scent I already feel like scrubbing it off, everytime. Sigh. I think I will just continue to enjoy this one on others, it’s too harsh on me.

You have to try this out on your skin to see Its beauty. Paper blotter will not do it justice. That was my mistake from years ago. I didn’t test it on my skin.
First off, it’s a coconut floral with sweet cardamom, ginger, and pepper to spice it up. It’s not tooth-ache sweet and it not overly spicy either. There’s just enough to balance the two. I get some coconut but it’s part of the composition rather than a main player for me. Then it becomes like a skin scent on my skin with musk, sandalwood, and amber, but it’s still projecting. It’s like you naturally smell this amazing and it’s radiating! You will get noticed because it’s intoxicating.
I have the EDT and wear it for evenings during spring and summer while during the day I wear Bright Crystal or Versense. During the fall and winter, I’m contemplating wearing it during the day because of that beautiful skin scent that would go good with a cashmere sweater, and have the EDP for evening wear. If the EDP is not available, I may try layering the EDT I have with Perfect Veil.
Sillage is good and so is longevity. Heads up, the spray can be loud at first versus the splash and a little goes a long way. One, maybe two sprays max and distribute to pulse points, but no more. Fo
