Angel with floral undertones (perhaps violet or rose), spices and a cooling quality that is quite pleasant. If you enjoy Angel but want something less cloying, more refined & sensual and definitely not offensive — this is for you!

On me this is indeed an Angel dupe, without the patchouli. I could not handle Angel because patchouli is way too strong on my skin. Crystal is also very strong, but more wearable for me. Beastly sillage and longevity for days (okay, maybe just one day). I like to put some unscented body lotion over this to dilute it a bit, otherwise it is too much of a statement on my skin.

Well the Angel reference is totally valid point, whichever flanker we’re looking at. Sadly, Angel has never turned on me the same way as it did on others, all I used to get was a chemical mess, lacking any of the niceties.
I got the roll on from a lovely fragrant friend and I must say, initially I had a very similar experience to Angel. But after about half an hour into wearing this one has opened the sultry petals Angel never given to me. It’s a like 🙂
not sure I will reach out for it too often, very strong this one!

I just received this today. As a Mugler junkie, i had to have it. To me, this does, indeed smells “like” Angel, but not quite. I have every version of Angel Mugler has ever made, and the one this oil resembles the most is Angel Pivoine from Garden of Stars collection.
To call it an exact dupe of Angel wouldn’t be right, as it’s missing the depth, darkness and heaviness that original Angel has.Someone mentioned that this oil felt cold, i agree;that is the exact same feeling i’ve got from it as well. While it reminds of Angel, on the other hand, this oil gives you that fresh, summery, quirky feeling, which Mugler simply doesn’t offer in his creations. Maybe this would be more along the lines of Angel EDT?
I sprayed Pivoine on my other forearm, and they are almost identical. I think i am in love with these oils, the longevity is great, and no expensive fragrance can beat it. As a side note, i get mine from Al-Rashad website for 2.75 a piece!

Reviewing again as I just had to buy a fair amount of this it’s so nice. I just tested side by side with Angel and it’s a lot more thick in every sense of the word – a bit more woodsy citrus twist than angel and in my opinion a lot better. Longevity also outperforms angel by a mile.

Good dupe of TM Angel. It felt really cold. I dont think I smelled anything fruity in the rollon oil. Floral spicy ? Yes.
    The longevity is really great.

I don’t know who lists the notes on Fragrantica but this is my third review for an Al-Rehab fragrance and what I’m getting is nothing like the notes listed. Nothing. On all three so far. I have to agree with the other reviewers this smells like TM Angel. I was completely driving myself crazy from the second I put this on. I just knew that I recognized this smell. It was so familiar. So I opened up my phone and read the notes here. What, this doesn’t make sense. And it being the third in a row I was starting to worry something was wrong with me. I started reading the reviews. Angel. Yes. It hit me like a brick. I actually read every single review. This smells nothing like the notes listed. You’re not crazy. Take a peek at TM Angel and relax there’s nothing wrong with your nose. It’s whoever is entering the notes on Fragrantica.

This is gorgeous – no wonder it’s the most expensive amongst these roll ons. I enjoy most of them actually but this one is very good. Woodsy, Spicy, a little gourman, long lasting. Beautiful. Not sure about the Angel similarity, perhaps a little but Angel is sicklier (to me).

It starts off smelling like Angel, but quickly turns to a citrus or fruity mess on my skin, sadly. The longevity is great though, even on my horribly dry skin.

    Roll-on mini-review here.
I was extremely disappointed when I first applied this. It didn’t smell *at all* like Angel.
After 10mins though it completely changed and resembled Angel a lot more. I still prefer the real deal though.

Oh. My. God. Closest dupe of Thierry mugler’s Angel that I’ve ever had! As soon as I put it on I smelt that familiar chocolatey patch powdery vanilla goodness!!! Longevity, so far I’ve been wearing it for six hours and it still smells strongly, very pleased, sillage I have no idea because its windy in uk and the only time I encounter other people is out in town doing my shopping and nobody notices there haha! And my fiancé never compliments my perfume which is sad for me but I suppose his sense of smell isn’t too strong. I don’t care though this perfume oil is fantastic and I’ve got 3 bottles, yay!

For those of you that love Angel and would like a very strong, dupe, this is it. Crystal is a beautiful, chocolate scent. I love it. Chocolate and roses and some other mystical smells!! If I had to choose between Angel and Crystal and money was no consideration, I think I would choose Crystal. It is more wearable for me. I wore this to work today, putting on only 2 little drops. I wore it to bed with lotion last night and I could smell it when I woke up and actually, even after my shower a little bit. I am having a little bit of a love affair with Al Rehab and it is such a wonderful discovery when that little bottle smells so great and stays on for so long.
    Update:
Bought this for a guy friend that loves unisex fragrances and he loves it.

Definitely reminiscent of TM Angel, although not an exact dupe. If you like those kinds of chocolate patchouli mysterious notes you will like this.

@Bob Marley: I respectfully disagree. These OILS probably contain fewer chemicals than alcohol-based extrait, edp, edt, edc and body mists.
Just what do you think non-oil fragrances are made of, angel’s tears???

This attar is straight up chocolate and roses on my skin. I have never been more pleased with a fragrance. It’s very powdery and warm on my skin. The chocolate note I get isn’t overly sweet, it’s much more subtle. The floral mixed with the wood notes are what really make this one beautiful. I’d highly recommend to anyone.

I was so impressed with the rehab choco musk that I bought 10 more various rehab roll-on’s including this one, Crystal and well, the other reviewers hit this one right on the button. It is a dead-ringer for Angel! I’ve had enough bottles of it to know! Even though I’m burnt out on Angel, I got this anyway knowing in advance. Crystal has the same bite as Angel but as the other reviews noted, it does seem to have more depth than Angel which does make this roll on very pleasant to own.

This reminds me a great deal of Angel but I find it to be easier to wear. It is very sweet and rich. The longevity is insane (it lasts all day) and the sillage is heavy.

Someone mentioned that this fragrance turned green on their skin and then metallic…umm, no offense but that must have been due to their skin’s unique chemistry. I got nothing green or metallic.
I love this fragrance. It’s a spot on dupe for Angel but it’s better. It’s angel in all of it’s hazelnut, cocoa, gourmand richness with a base of the most comforting patchouli without the initial alcohol haze that comes with EDPs or EDTs. It’s the way everyone wants Angel to smell on their skin: decadent, indulgent, mysterious, sensual, and expensive.
I have many arabian oils including many Al Rehabs and while good year round, this perfume smells most divine in cold weather. The sillage is amazing provided one applies it correctly (most people in the west do not realize how to properly apply oils. It’s a dab on the wrists, maybe the decolletage. Then rub the roller ball on your palm or use the dropper to place some there. Next, rub your hands together and smooth your hands over your clothing, arms, what not). With this application, I received gentle yet satisfying waves of the fragrance all day and into the night.
I did receive compliments, but the most precious to me was that of my very rough and tumble young son who immediately said after I walked into the room to take him to school: Mom, you smell good.
It lasts for around 24 hours and even the final note is absolutely lovely—a rich and smoky musky floral scent.
Such perfume finds are why I love arabian oils—-incredible scents that surpass the original both in price and quality.

I just received my perfume oil bottle (roller ball 3 ml) and by smelling at the bottle – yes! Angle in oil form. Will report back on development, longevity and sillage 🙂

Srtaight from the rollerball, this absolutely *is* Angel. I got all of the expected top notes of Angel, right away, and it stayed that way for about half an hour before it turned GREEN. As in, minty, evrgreen, Christmas tree GREEN. That was the “middle”, i suppose, and lasted another hour or so, and I should have been happy to have it because the dry down was… metallic! Cold, sharp metal. The fragrance equivalent of a scalpel. I’m sad… Angel is so pricey.

Really glad I took the plunge with this one. Yes it is rumoured to be an Angel knockoff and that should ring alarmbells for me. Maybe I need to revisit Angel too but the reason I like Crystal is that is is not a sour-turning patchouli on me. The main notes I get are dark chocolate, earthy spicy patchouli, dusty woodsy vanilla and maybe myrrh as another reviewed suggested. I am not sure what fruity notes there could be but they seem very subtle. Crystal seems sweet to begin with but it becomes darker and more tooth friendly as time goes on.The drydown is delicious. I have also layered it with Al Rehab Choco musk which makes a great combo if you are after a strong gourmand patchouli.

All I can say is yes it smells just like Angel except it is softer and the sillage is average. I feel very pretty wearing this.

As a long time die hard Angel fanatic I can quite honestly say that this is a DEAD RINGER for the original TM Angel.
Astounding perfume which is a personal rendition of Angel but doesn’t share itself with half the world when it is worn.
Silage sits very close to the skin but longevity is 24 hours plus!! If you don’t shower this stays with you.
I stopped wearing Angel a while ago because of the abuse it receives by people who don’t know the meaning of subtle, but this has reminded me of how beautiful this smell is.
I feel like an alcoholic who has been on the wagon for years and then has that first lethal drink and all of a sudden, can’t get enough!!

Think it smells half of a big bar of chocolate and half TM Angel ‘ish’. It doesn’t smell sweet though, as the Angel ‘ish’ smell makes it quite a dry smelling scent.
The chocolate dies down after a time but it is nicer than Angel to my nose. It has a musky, warm, background to it, that is not there with Angel.

I am really surprised patchouli isn’t listed as one of the notes or frankincense/myrrh/amber.
People have noted it’s similarity to Thierry Mugler’s Angel, but it definitely stands as it’s own fragrance. I find Crystal to be much smoother smelling than Angel, and it’s longevity is greater than Angel’s on me. Angel is very sweet, and this perfume definitely has more floral overtones than sweet ones.
The opening is very potent, and be careful wearing this when it is warm or when you know you are going to work up a sweat.
I love the base notes…a frankincense/myrrh dry down with maybe some amber thrown in there. I wear frankincense and myrrh essential oils, and the dry down smells very much like the mixture of those two oils.
I apply small dabs in the morning to my wrists. I then apply two dabs to the back of my hands which I wipe in my hair. I can smell the perfume distinctly throughout the day, and it lasts until I shower then next day.
A little goes a long way, and it is a very inexpensive perfume. I have received nothing but compliments on the perfume when I wear it.
I had a lady at work ask me what I was wearing, and she told me that I smelled warm and happy.
Another lady told me that I smelled like home.
My husband is particularly fond of this fragrance too. If I put it on, he never fails to tell me that I smell good.
