Again totally weird – I scored a sealed bottle and it just arrived.
I’m a big CDG fan. Man 2, Blackpepper, Blue Santal and Amazingreen are on rotation.
AT first I thought something was wrong because I can not to my nose smell on the dry down much of what is on the pyramid and in the descriptions and then reading these reviews I realise its OK – the pyramid is not representative of what you SIMPLY smell, other than magnolia.
It blends together to basically make it smell like a Musk Candy Stick – full stop.
Its a quality product as usual and still smells strong (even though it is not an overpowering type of smell) 8 hours later.
Sadly not for me and like Floriental (again quality but closer to its description) is going to be a gift.
I’m still confused as to the pyramid description – I get some of the notes but only quite frankly if you over analyse – what people will smell is Musk Stick candy with a touch of wood.
In summary:
* Male or female (erring possibly in favour for women)
* Quality, good silage, great longevity
* Beware of the note description

I was lucky enough to find a generous soul who very kindly gave me a sample of this wonderful scent!!! I put it on this morning and was instantly in love! The only note that I was aware of smelling was magnolia, and it was glorious!!!
I didn’t find this too strong at all! But, unfortunately, it only lasted a short time, around an hour or so. It isn’t all gone yet, but it has faded to almost nothing. I have to really push my nose to my wrist to get anything now.
What a shame that such a gorgeous perfume lasts such a short time!!!! I doubt that I will ever see a fb on Ebay anyway . . .

This is one of my favorite fragrances- beautiful smell! it has deep undertone, but it lifted and rounded with magnolia. All notes are in perfect harmony with each other. I can’t get enough of it. I wear it all year long and I don’t find it heavy at all.

This is such a strong but unique fragrance. Very spicy and only to be used lightly. Lovely for the winter months.
