Boorcrype – :
This fragrance has a clean, milky-musky quality along with the mostly fresh, cold spices. In the background there is an addition of some delicate flowers, which along with the small amounts of benzoin/amber (in the drydown) bring a bit of soft sweetness. A very pleasant unisex scent.
Update summer 2017: For a while, I have been looking for a spicy summer fragrance of a non-sharp, non-sweet, non-citrusy, unisex type. I had forgotten about this one, but after retesting my sample, I think this might be what I have been looking for – just the cold milky accord makes me a bit hesitant..

All Esteban perfumes somehow share the same base. Not really in their actual “base”, but in the way they end up smelling on your skin.
Sweet or spicy, fresh or heavy, they smell quite similar – the “perfume” part is pretty much the same.
This scent is my favourite from this house – spicy indeed, rather well balanced, not too rough but not too quiet.
You can wear it to work without offending anyone, yet I don’t find it as calm as Sherapop describes it.
Longevity and sillage are good.

Wrath? Anger? Où ça? Esteban COLERE D’EPICES is about as calm as they come! Honestly, the name does not do this smooth, gentle composition justice at all.
As for the notes, I am sure that I smell sandalwood here, and I do not detect any amber whatsoever. The spices are very light, and I come away from COLERE D’EPICES with the vague impression of soft sawdust sprinkled with cardamom. Nice, if that’s your sort of thing, but this is not a “torrent” by any means!
