Happy Heart was my signature sent for at least 10 years. I wore it everyday, any season, any occasion. I just repurchased it and I’m wondering why I stopped using such a lovely scent. I love fresh/clean scents and this perfume nails it! I smell fresh, citrusy and floral, no carrots or cucumber notes on me..

My friend wore this last night and I fell completely in love with this fragrance…to the extent that I ordered a bottle this morning. It is so fresh and so pretty…just pretty…that I feel it is a standout. My friend, who is lovely on her own, became utterly irresistable. I was smelling her like a lunatic all night, and then begged her to buy her bottle off her then and there. lol. She did not comply.

I’m pretty open to many different types of fragrances, and I really love fresh scents. But honestly, all I get from this is an extremely powdery, chemical drenched, ozonic cucumber and not much else. Both on my skin & clothes. I let some friends smell it, and nobody has said they liked it so far, too. Lol
Soapy scents are usually quite pleasant to me, especially if it’s more of a shampoo type of soap. But this just comes off as intense cheap bar soap. I’m really trying to see what all the positive comments are coming from, but I’m stumped! Haha. I’m glad a lot of people like it, but this is most likely my least favorite fragrance that I’ve tried thus far.
I definitely would not recommend as a blind buy, especially if you aren’t particularly a fan of overtly green, ozonic or “chemically” smells. Maybe it’s just my nose being weird, though! Lol

This is a fragrance I never thought I would like but 10 years ago I came across with it as a gift and for my great surprise I enjoyed it quite a lot. Something more interesting than that my husband complimented this perfume as very atractive and pretty and he hardly even smells anything on me or most of my perfumes make him say: khm. yes. strong.
But he really loved Happy Heart.
Now, 10 years later I decided to repurchased it ‘blind’, since I couldn’t really remember the scent itself, just the fresh, joyful, pretty and soft character of it and was sooooo keen for something like that. I’ve got my bottle today and I’m absolutely in love with it much more than last time. And my husband still loves the scent altough he doesn’t remember that 10 years ago he complemented once on this one.
I agree that it’s very linear, doesn’t change after the first hour or so, also, it can be too much if applied with heavy hand. I’ve had 3 sprays at 2 pm and now, 10 hours and one shower later I still smell it.
It’s a youthful scent that can be worn by young girls obviously but I don’t find it ‘girly’ at all. Just something very beautiful, like the essence of being a beautiful, atractive woman.
One more comment on this: I can’t help feeling that Mugler’s Womanity ‘should’ smell more like this than the way it really smells. Although they are totally different in notes and in conception as well there is something in the opening of Womanity that is almost pretty and rather a similar way as HH. But Womanity is dirty for me and ruined with an ovewhelming aquatic note and loudness. I find a perfect balance and harmony in HH, though.

Wore Happy Heart several years ago as a working girl in my 20’s; it was great for the office! Soapy notes throughout, didn’t ever think of it as smelling of carrots, but more flowery/soapy. Distinctly different from it’s sister Happy. Nice for an inoffensive and unique addition to any fragrance wardrobe. Made me feel peppy and energetic.

This is such a CLASSIC, along with the original. Happy Heart is fresh, citrusy, slightly aquatic, and floral. It screams spring and summer to me. However, I wear it any time of year. I don’t smell the carrot note but I do get the cucumber, citrus, and florals. It’s got GREAT longevity and projection. Well worth the money. I love it! Part of it’s appeal to me is that this reminds me so much of a body spray I use to use back in the 90s that has long been discontinued. It was called Water Lilies by Calgon. It’s a memory trigger for me for that reason as well. Reminds me of my childhood…. CAREFREE and LIGHTHEARTED. This will be a staple in my collection for that reason.

Light, fresh, happy, and clean. Bought it when i just started working cause it was not too expensive! Perfect as gift too 🙂

This beautiful, fresh fragrance has terrific sillage and great presence, without the need to be showy.  I had never had compliments from strangers before when wearing a perfume – but the day I tested this in-store, I had two.  It certainly stopped me in my tracks when I tried it – something so joyful and mesmerising about it, and distinctively unique.  I think I’m falling in love with Happy Heart: it could well be the scent that will keep me happy ever after!

This is a very soapy scent. Smells like freshly washed but still wet clothes when the scent of a good floral detergent is still strong.
Not a safe blind buy. Definitely needs to be tested before purchase because the soapiness may turn you off.

Let me start by saying I love this perfume. I thought it smelled very unique, in a familiar way for a fresh aquatic perfume. So I got nosey and read the notes on here. Carrots and cucumber!?! That solved the mystery of the familiar uniqueness and I now every time I wear it I smell the carrots and cucumber… And it kinda ruined it for me. I’m sad.

My fiance says this smells like soy sauce. LOL! Nevertheless, it’s my favourite scent and I’m on my third bottle! 🙂

I like this better than the original happy.
it has a soft freshness, with some kind of great skin or hair product smell.
very nice, couple hours longevity then it sits real close.
good, I don’t think this is offensive in any way, you just kinda smell good

Very soapy scent for me. Fresh and even a little bit cold. Waterhyacinth is definitely dominate note in this, I don’t get much of other ingredients.
Nice fragrance if you want to feel yourself shower fresh and hyacinth is your cup of tea.

  16. :

This is perfect to welcome in spring and for hot, sticky summer days. I mostly get a fresh cucumber and hyacinth aquatic scent with citrus and carrot sweetenening it up just a bit. I layer it on top of Bath and Body Works Cucumber and Melon lotion. It’s a clean, casual daytime fragrance but it does go on strong and last a long time, so go easy on the sprays.

This is one of the popular perfumes where I live but it’s only recently that I joined the bandwagon. Dry summer season is fast approaching here in Manila and temperature is starting to become unbearable. I was looking for a new summer perfume that will work with the summer heat and decided to get Happy Heart. Unfortunately, I didn’t like it at all. I was expecting a fresh, clean scent but to me it smelled harsh, screechy, straight up laundry detergent. Smells too sharp in this heat, IMHO.

İlkbahar geldiğinde kullanmaya bayıldığım parfüm. Kokusu burnunuza geldikçe baharın tüm enerjisi kalbinize dolacak. Gerçekten happy heart! Kalıcılığı da çok yüksek

I had this perfume back in 2004, I honestly loved it, unfortunately it just didn’t work with my skin/chemistry.
It smells like one has bathed with the most luxurious soap and then laid down in a field of hyacinth, lilacs and lilies on a gorgeous summer day. Floral, powdery, clean, fresh no hints of dirt, wood or water whatsoever.
When I wore this I got a strange green carroty smell and then it would sour on my skin making my skin smell yoghurty/sour cream.
I desperately wanted this to work but, alas, it was not meant to be.

Fresh perfumes lovers will like it! If you like any green, grass frag this one is for you. Its vibrant smell, yes! It is happy and refreshing. To me the most dominant is cucumber and cassia. Lovely and long lasting.

I only saw one other review that noted this, but I get a very strong peppery smell almost right away. I bought this blind and was so excited, but I’m kind of put off by the pepper. I waited for about ab hour and it faded a bit, but I could still smell it. It was tolerable then, but who wants to wear something that’s only tolerable and only after an hour? I have a large barely used bottle and a mini if anyone has something they’d like to swap. I’ve never swapped on here before, but I paid quite a bit for this and I just don’t want to wear it.
Update. The perfume has been sold to someone who is happy with it. Yay!! Eby!! So glad I don’t have to toss it out and someone can us it.

I strongly advise that you give this fragrance more than one try. I tested it in the store when it was first released in 2003 and decided it smelled like hairspray. A few months later, I tried it again and fell in love with it, so much so that it ended up being my tropical island wedding fragrance two years later. There’s just something about this fragrance. Whenever I wear it, even now, I can’t stop sniffing my wrist. It’s soft, sweet, powdery, and soapy. A warm, rich, distinct floral that has a comforting quality and fills the air with the promise of a happy future. It’s like a bottle of magic … wearing it makes me all happy and warm inside. It’s nothing but goodness.

This is a timeless soapy classic. Always feel fresh, clean, soapy and feminine when I wear this. It dries down to this soft powdery musk on me, like soap skin mixed with white musk.
    Heaven.

My mum bought me this perfume recently, and I just love it. It smells amazing, I always get compliments from guys when I wear it. Someone told me yesterday that I smelled sexy. It is a really nice perfume, with a playful, sexy, fresh and unique smell.
Another good thing about it is that it lasts relatively long, and that it’s sillage is soft but present.
I would totaly recommend it, it’s an amazing perfume

(If anyone would like to try this, I’m happy to swap decants for my want list.)
This is one of my favorite fragrances EVER. I never liked Clinique Happy, but this one… oh dear Lord! To me this is happiness in a bottle. I don’t get oranges, cucumber, or anything from the notes list, really. What I get is fruity (berries?), sweet, feminine and happy. Dont ever want to ran out of this! 🙂

  26. :

    5 out of 5

Although I have never smelt it, I feel this has been seriously misclassified. There is nothing in the notes listed to even come close to this being a chyphe floral. (No oakmoss, no pathchouli, no vertiver).

  27. :

    5 out of 5

I have a weird relationship with this perfume. I think with the notes it could be excellent, and it seems SO close…but just so very slightly misses the mark that would make it wonderful. It has a light, sweet scent that isn’t candy sweet and is definitely tempered with the cucumber. But the ozonic scent is a little too much, it kind of overpowers the rest, which is a shame. I have found that a few sprays of a cucumber melon body spray over it REALLY makes a difference and brings out all the notes I love, but I don’t prefer to wear it alone.

got this the other day and in comparison to happy this is better but Idk if I’m going to keep or return because I don’t think it projects enough but then again a girl at the supermarket gave me a compliment she said it smells good but its not strong but at least she could smell it…after all that’s the point of wearing fragrances right…well to me this has a floral somewhat fruity smell with something like bubblegum idk if that’s correct but that’s what I smell and I do like it but don’t love it but I noticed it lingered in my room after I sprayed it for a long time so maybe it does project and I myself just don’t notice but I just feel as though I’m cheating on calyx with a sister Clinique fragrance lol but the question for me now is to keep or not to keep??…

It’s been interesting bagging the perfect Mother’s day fragrance, I found Happy Heart to be very fresh, lightly floral and somehow quite ozonic.
I’m not sure if it’s just my nose, but it doesn’t seem to transition at any time, it seems to start and up the exact same smell.
It’s quite potent, the name Happy seems to suit it well, it’s a cheerful fragrance, that seems to remind me of Happy for Men somehow.

This is such a fresh, easy going fragrance that dries down into something just sweet enough and with a true femininity without going into sultry territory. I smelled this a while ago and wasn’t sure, but over recent months it’s been on my mind.. I think because on recent tries I have appreciate its strength and lasting power and tenacity… and what it evolves into is lovely to wear. It great for someone who isn’t a total fume head, but has characteristics that will appear to those who are.
Spicy, aquatic, a little piece of sunshine in a bottle.

I am BEYOND depressed to say that something happened with me, my skin, my skin chemistry….but this smells like wet dog on my skin now..omg it pains me that this happened! This has been in my top ten since it came out 🙁 I had bought a bottle a few months ago and it was fine until last week. 🙁

I first got this in 2005. It was a gift from my then boyfriend (now husband). It was a valentine’s gift from him. I absolutely love the scent.
It makes me feel sophisticated. My husband loves the smell on me and he is always complementing me whenever I use them. This is definitely one of my all time favorite. Not just that, I find that it draws a lot of compliments too! I get compliments when I wear this fragrance at the office especially from my colleagues and a few from my customers too.
Its light and smells very nice not too strong at all. Perfect for daytime use. I wore it to a meeting at work and a guy colleague came to me asking what perfume am I using. He adores the smell and wish to buy it for his wife as well. Glad that someone else finds it nice too.
The price is acceptably affordable and will definitely buy again and again. Honestly I’ve lost count on how many bottles I’ve used up..hihi

I think this smells pleasant on others, a bit ethereal, but it’s not for me. On me a sweet yet bitter and powdery note drowns out any of the freshness and I have to wash it off. The note smells extremely similar to a VS scent with Lily in it. I want to say bombshell summer but not completely sure.

  34. :

    5 out of 5

Hands down one of my favorites. Perfect for hot weather as it lasts, yet doesn’t over power. Smells clean. slightly floral, crisp. Spring, summer, winter any one of these you can wear this (I go darker, smokier, heavier in the fall). Non-offensive. Everyone loves it that smells it. Two thumbs up!

  36. :

    3 out of 5

I don’t like Happy, nor I like the design of the bottle and the fragrance reminds me of Arden’s Beauty a little, which I don’t like at all.
But I like Happy Heart someway, somehow. It is pleasant, gentle yet persistent, balanced and easy to wear, never seem to annoy.
It’s great for summer, office, everyday. Or semi casual summer weddings, picnics and birthdays. Floral, dewy, fresh, vibrant, safe and even a little festive. It evokes a very “North American” feeling.
My only complaint that it doesn’t feel terribly elegant. Not cheap, not tacky. Just sometimes it feels more like a great shampoo than an actual perfume.

  37. :

    5 out of 5

I appreciate it so much since my most favourite fragrances are the ones that smell clean/fresh/almost like detergent. This falls into this category and i absolutely love it! It is ideal for spring and summer, not overpowering and very pleasant among all those sweet/fruity ones that we tend to wear this time of the year. A pleasant surpise that lasts long and everybody compliments!

  38. :

    5 out of 5

I don’t smell cucumber which is too bad because I love cucumber. This is a bar of soap in a bottle. Not a fancy fig, carrot soap, just any generic soap. It’s not at all what I was expecting having read the notes before I sprayed it. The only time or place I can picture myself wearing this is when I go camping with my family. I would definitely smell freshly showered which would be nice. Maybe this could have been called Happy Camper? ha! Sorry, I’m delirious.

  39. :

    4 out of 5

Oh boy! I wore this yesterday and the initial scent was nice and refreshing but it’s really warm out so by mid afternoon (lunch time) it was just too much. I didn’t spray too much on, at least I did not spray more than I figured would give me a lasting scent. I sprayed a cloud of fragrance, walked through and spritzes to the wrist but Geez, this was headache inducing!
I’ve had this bottle for many many years and it smells as it did when I bought it, thanks to storing in dark cool rooms, so I have to believe my taste in fragrances has changed and I simply no longer like the drydown. Oh well…it’ll either collect dust or someone my see it and decide they want it. I have no issue parting with it, that’s for sure.
Maybe it’s more for cooler spring weather as opposed to this non-Spring stuff we’ve been getting in the south lately.

  40. :

Why use parfumes at all if they are perceived as too heavy and overpowering? There are other options like fragrant shower gel, lotion, deodorant or fragrant mist. Or sparing application… I dont understand such complaints at all. Happy Hearts is awful on me – my skin amplifies the fresh notes making them scream “fresh”, and that means that this scent is straight from the lab and far from nature, it’s screechy and the fresh note is heavy, so heavy that it overpowers everything else.

  41. :

    4 out of 5

I just love this scent! It’s so light and not overpowering, wich is my main complaint about perfumes. I sometimes smell it directly from the bottle, because I can’t get enough. It smells like a spring garden after rain.
I would probably stick to it for a lifetime, but unfortunately it doesn’t stick to my skin, or I can’t smell it 🙁 I also had Happy to be, that was a bit more “tough”

  42. :

This is one of my all time favs! It smells amaZing!!! I find it smells like lilacs a little! The sad thing is the price! To buy at local department stores it’s going to set you back around 70 for 50ml and 80 for 100ml….and I try to purchase all of my perfumes from online because it’s always so much cheaper, this one is still very pricey even on the net!! Don’t get me wrong it’s worth it for sure, but when I know I can buy 2-3 perfumes for the same price…it’s hard to justify the cash!

  43. :

    3 out of 5

This one has a sparking, fizzy, zingy note like a fruit tingle lolly, and a soapy aquatic feel underneath. Right now it’s high summer with lots of humidity, and I just discovered Happy Heart – it’s perfect for this sort of weather. Cool, clean and light, love the dry down too. It’s a thumbs up from me.

Carrot – cucumber combo! Very unique in the world of perfumes, I would say 🙂
I like it because it is quite fresh and joyous, but I don’t like to smell like food…

I had the original Clinique Happy back in my teenage years. It was light, citrus-y, with a hint of freshly cut grass. 15 years later, I couldn’t wear the scent if I wanted to. It’s amazing how ones body chemistry changes over the years to turn one awesome scent into a trainwreck on the skin.
Knowing this, I went to my local purveyor of perfumes and overpriced fashion that would be ‘dated’ in 2 weeks (a.k.a. Macy’s) and hit up the Clinique counter first, which was where I tried Happy Heart. When it first came out, it smelled too flowery and sweet. This time, I fell in love immediately. It *worked*, and although I know it’s not on the fragrance profile, our bodies are different, so it ended up taking on the personality of a rose perfume on my skin. I bought a bottle, and went home after going spray-silly with it. My husband didn’t notice until it was nearing bedtime, and he could smell it faintly. “Are you wearing perfume? It smells really good. When did you start wearing perfume?”
For my fellow nostalgic chicks who wore something great back in the early 2000’s but can’t wear it now, don’t give up. You may be surprised by something you would have never given a second thought to years ago.

I soO love this perfume! My husband first smell it on me and he liked it very much. I’m on my 3rd bottle now and my husband bought it as a wedding anniversary gift. This is a modern, very fresh and clean scent. A must have for young women like me.

this perfume is more like the pretty girl nextdoor, what not to like about her, except she’s kind of booorrring…it’s a nice scent to have though, when it’s super hot outside and you just want a very light touch of freshness- I liked it a lot at first but got bored of it really quick …:(

I am not a cucumber fan, but this is my FAVORITE perfume…and I thought Clinique Happy was my favorite! The cucumber in Happy Heart is nothing like Bath and Body Works Cucumber Melon, so if comments on the melon note turn you off, give Happy Heart a try anyway. Happy Heart is definitely more floral than the original Clinique Happy and gets a little warmer, slightly “milky”, and warm. I can imagine wearing this in the early fall. I have been enjoying Happy Heart in 100 degree Tennessee summer weather. No sneezing, no headache! I close my eyes when I wear it and I imagine my heart in my chest being full of love! Ha! Fresh! Soapy! Youthful!

Happy heart is an ozonic/refreshing fragrance that comes from the cucumber and tangerine. Soon after the carrot, white woods and sandalwood creates the warmth that makes me smile which explains the name, Happy Heart. This fragrance is very versatile for an everyday use, outing with the girls or with your special someone. It has a good longevity, silage and I’m on my second bottle 🙂

  53. :

    3 out of 5

This is one of those rare scents that I was wild about when I first smelled it/tested it, but within 10-12 applications I ended up disliking it. The flower smell on me is overpowering, and it has a fairly strong soapy scent that never seems to dry down. I think it smells almost rancid when I have worn it for a few hours on a hot summer afternoon. It could also be that my nose is just evolving and this scent is not all that complex, but these are just my observations.

  54. :

I really don’t get the fresh notes… it’s pretty heavy on the contrary. Sorry, thumb down

I wore this in college, recently passed by the Clinique counter in Macy’s, saw the new bottle and box, had to try it again. It’s the exact same as I remember it from 10 years ago.
Fresh and citrusy, perfect for summer. This is another perfume to wear when you’re tired of smelling fru-fru or flowery. Very nice.

  56. :

    3 out of 5

I used to wear Clinique Happy, until a couple years ago, when I ran out, and tried Happy Heart instead! Love it just as much. To me, these fragrances just shout out “SUMMER”!! So crisp and fresh. Perfect for hot weather days.

  57. :

    4 out of 5

Confession, I started wearing this in college (a surprise birthday gift from parents, to boot–so charming, so juvenile!), before I’d heard of a nose, skin chemistry, chypre, anything.
This hasn’t been getting much play. Nowadays I tend to prefer a different kind of scent–less modern, more French, more complicated and wandering, and so I’ve been meaning to cut this from my stash for at least three years.
But somehow every summer rolls around and I just bring out the bottle again.

  58. :

    5 out of 5

Just lovely. Fresh and clean, for sure, but this “fresh” is more “fresh air” than “just-showered”. I normally hide from cucumber in fragrances, because it usually smells so loudly like itself… but here, it quietly cools the warm citrus and peppery florals… so, what you get is a gently juicy, sparkling breeze that is neither hot, nor cold, nor warm, even… just cool. Comfortable. Airy, yet interesting enough to be sexy. I can’t believe there is carrot in here, because carrot, to me, is so ugh… dirty smelling? There is nothing about this scent that is dirty, or vegetal… just lilting, feminine, effervescent fresh air.

  59. :

    4 out of 5

This smells like a luscious deep sweet tangerine with a bit of peppery musk on me for some reason. I LOVE it.

  60. :

    3 out of 5

this is very clean and fresh yet floral. Somewhat aquatic yet as another reviewer said, floral enough to satisfy floral lovers.
I don’t wear many florals but this one I smelled on another woman and had to ask her what it was. Great for warm weather and it seems to last a really long time for such a light fragrance.

  61. :

    Huele a limpio, realmente bien.
Como a un jabón verde que no recuerdo su nombre, pero me hace sentir muy reanimada, si lo recomiendo.
Su duración me pareció de más de 6 horas y ha de proyectar mucho, que me dijeron que olía muy bien.

  62. :

    5 out of 5

In fact, this is not a fragrance that everyone will love but it has something that I can’t deny. For me, this is a very fresh clean scent but florals enough for flowery lovers. Carrot and cucumber reminds me of a picnic in a hot sunny day or walking on a beach. It’s worth for my money for 50ml bottle. I can imagine this summer weekend I will wake up lately , take a shower with cool water, wearing white cotton shirt and drive to somewhere with this fragrance. Oh ! I love this fragrance, young and happiness in a pink bottle. On me very fresh from a very first but long lasting and tender til the end of the day.

  63. :

The slightly deeper, earthier a bit more woody version of the original Happy. This has a bit more personality and is alot less ‘sterile’ than the original. I do detect a melon note – possibly the cucumber. Definitely not a perfume for me but it’s an improvement on the original for me.

I bought a pocket-sized refill of it before (authentic, of course). It smells sharp at the beginning but it has a nice, floral drydown. It kinda brings out the romantic in me. I liked it more than Clinique Happy but might think twice about buying it the next time. I tend to have a love-hate relationship with this one. It can get quite heady once you overspray it. I might reconsider purchasing it someday, just to see if I finally connnect with it. I give it 3.5 out of 5 stars.

An initially potent, alcoholic, synthetic frag, which soons becomes more orangy and floral…
    I applied 6 heavy sprays
0 – 30 secs- Piercing, sharp, alcohol, like rum, 70% proof and so artificial, this frag immediately affected my allergy and my throat went closed…but there is something about that I find nice …
30 secs – 1 hours – 10 inch projection. Becomes more orangy and floral and projects a relaxing aroma. Ages 28 – 53
1 hours – 3 hours – 7 inch projection but not strong. Relaxing to some extent
    3 hours – 5 hours – 1.5 inch projection
5-7 hours – Close to skin
Not really a safe buy and maybe not for allergy suffers – the opening is as artificial as it gets but it soon looses that.
I think this will have a split jury – I hail on the side of liking it, I guess cos I too have a happy heart…

This smelled so bright and fresh coming out of the bottle, but after about 30 seconds it smells like I rubbed a bar of soap all over my wrists. The mandarin comes through faintly, but I can’t pick up much else, and is quite close to the skin. Not unpleasant at all, but nothing to distinguish it either, it will be one to wear at work occasionally now the weather is warming up.

This is such a refreshing, summery feel-good scent for me! I’ve been wearing it for the last few months and a quick spritz before work in the morning sets me up nicely for the day. It’s slightly sweet but not overpowering fruity, floral with cucumber. The slight oranginess keeps it warm.

I used to own Happy Heart and liked it. It smells very fresh, floral and clean. The scent almost has a soapy quality to it. It’s not an offensive fragrance, I have smelled worse. But I wouldn’t re-purchase again.

There are always few bottles in a shop which i test constantly just for aromatherapy lol. Yep, Happy Heart is one of them because it literally makes me happy 🙂 Of course it is perfume of a warm spring/summer time, only then it blooms on skin and in the air. I am falling in love day by day and i can’t resist it.

Smells exactly like the white flowers that grow outside my house. I like it!

This fragrance reminds me of my sister 🙂 It smelled lovely and fresh on her, but it doesn’t work as well on me… for some reason cucumber and my skin don’t always play well together. If used sparingly Happy Heart is a wonderful fresh, sweet perfume.

I’m ALMOST certain my sisters wore this.. in the days where I remember playing Donkey Kong Country on the Super Nintendo.. and when Skip-Its were genius. This fragrance is just so fresh, pleasant and clean.

This used to be my favortie perfume, then one day a boss of mine (who was a fat slob pig) said, “wow, it smells like ant spray in here”, he said that every time I wore it. I stopped wearing it after that even thought others had complimented me on it. I miss it but the ant spray comment really bothered me.

Happy Heart is the one I like the least from The Happy line. It’s smells very pungent and to my nose its just like bug spray or some mosquito skin repellent (like Off! for those who knows it)…. I think it must be the Hyacinth… It’s strong and long lasting (6hrs+), and can easily be a headache trigger if you use more than 2 sprays…the whole scent doesn’t evolve much, it’s quite linear so the stuff you smell when u just spray is pretty much what u will get stuck with for some long, long, hours….
    Definitely try before you buy!…

To me (and on me) it smells transparant fresh watery cucumbery citrusy floral. It’s my perfume for casual carefree days. For weekend and holidays. But be careful. this is potent. More than 3 sprays possible in causing migraine. lLongevity is clinique quality guarantee.. At least 10 hours on me.. Sometimes more than that. Sillage is moderate. An arm length.

Love the smell- they say it is too floral but I find it citrusy and really fresh. I just wish it smells more strong and lasts longer

I find it quite cheap and annoying, and think it lacks the joyful character of the original happy. all the other notes in it are masked under this overwhelming aquatic note, but not in a fresh cucumber-y way as the list of the notes say. I can’t exactly describe it, but my best try would be that I constantly feel like I’m trying to sniff something that’s under water.

Meh. It definitely smells like Clinique. It’s one of those scents where I love it on other people, but on me it doesn’t pair well with my chemistry, and it gives me a headache when I spray it more than once on my skin. It has a very strong and pungent floral element, and it smells the same the entire time I’m wearing it; it doesn’t seem to have a drydown on my skin. I will wear it once in a while because my husband bought it for me (I g
