CK One Summer 2015 reflects the ultimate relaxing summer moment basking in the sun. It is announced the sensation of refreshing and sun-kissed bliss energized with warm undecurrents. The fragrance is a refreshing, energetic and blazing citrus – aromatic. It opens with accords of gin tonic that leads to the heart of star anise and the base of amber wood. Available as 100 ml Eau de Toilette. The nose behind this fragrance is Harry Fremont.

Not one of my favorite years. The juniper/gin note slaps you in the face. Need the right occasion to reach for this flanker. Its not bad just not great. I like 2018, 2017 and 2016 way better!

this fragrance is getting hard to find but today I was lucky to test a new cheap Zara frag called Rio de Janeiro and it’s 90% the same smell. It costed like 8 euros (100ml) and I am sure it won’t last long on my skin but it’s a decent and affordable substitute.

A little bit masculine but I don’t care! It’s refreshing fragrance and it reminds me of fun summer nights and delicious drinks. This is similar fragrance that my dad used to wear, I don’t know what that was but maybe that’s why I like it too!

I saw it. I bought it.
$24, I couldn’t say no. With so many summer editions I was wondering what year this flanker was. I thought it was 2017. I was wrong.
I spray it twice on my wrist and oh, my. What a fantastic scent! My hopes weren’t high, so I was taken by surprise.
It’s a citrus, kind of gin with salty notes. A summer drink, a fancy beach, infinite blue sky, the warmth of the sand mixed with the ocean air, people in white linen pants and shirts… You get the picture.
After the initial inviting notes, it gets more quiet, light dry woods, juniper berry, a faint grapefruit in the background, cucumber becomes surprisingly clear at this point.
Based on my “no expectations” attitude towards the seasonal CK flankers, I can say that CK One Summer 2015 is actually pretty good. Longevity is the weakest point, but while it last, I enjoy it!

Fruity tropical scent. Limes, papaya, and mojito. There is a whiff of the watermelon and cucumber but it flirts in and out, never getting too offensive and smells more like aloe plant than either of those (I hate both cucumber and watermelon). Sillage starts off loud with four-five spritzes but retreats within an hour or two. Hasn’t reached the final stage on my skin yet, but on clothing, it resolves to a sweet tonka. Very refreshing scent, great for hot weather. Longevity is on the briefer side. Pairs well with saltier aquatic summer scents like Light Blue and Aqva. The bottle is extremely attractive in person, much subtler in coloring and the water background effect is a compelling aesthetic.
Update: I’ve used half a 100ml bottle in less than two months because the longevity is super poor, sometimes only lasting a few minutes. The scent has really grown on me, I am loving the blend of calming and cool cucumber/melon/water with invigorating lime and lemon, but it’s not a practical everyday wear item because of the longevity, just a good refresher scent when you need an olfactory jolt of energy. If you find some at a super discount like I did, pick it up but don’t think you’re getting much more than an expensive room spray.

I’ve had this for a few years now. It is a very nice scent, but longevity is incredibly bad. I wore it last night to the movies and it was completely gone from my clothes in 1 hour, although it was still on my skin. I sprayed 12 sprays and finished the bottle. Unless I got a fake, it’s possible, This scent’s longevity is terrible, 1 hour tops.

I’ll look for a different year, and thinking about Eternity summer as well. As I’ve smelled 9-10 of the CK one summer yearly scents, this one is definitely on the lower end, scent wise, and longevity wise. If you can get this for $10 bucks for 3.4 oz size, scoop it up, otherwise CK has much better scents in it’s house besides this dud. Ive got CK one Summer 2010 and I easily get 3-4 hours on my skin for that year. Did they forget ingredients for the 2015 formulation…….

Lower your sails!!! Drop the anchor because this is it! You see crystal clear blue lagoons, white sandy beaches, luxury sailing yachts and of course, gin and tonic to go with a bit more ice than usual.
The artist who had designed the bottle and the advert had translated the fragrance beautifully into an image and vice versa. It is such an ice cold and refreshing scent that will help you stay composed in the blistering heat. Highly recommended for those travelling to tropical countries where you expect soaring temperatures as this really does have a cooling effect from the inside out!

Ck summer 2k15 lol. In my opinion it always nice to have a bottle of any CK summer on side for summer season there light and safe im huge fan off 2015 and 2008 version. 2015 is very pleasing i got complments and it kinda reminds me of a lemon and lime soda like sprite or 7up tumps up for this

there is no melon in this to my nose, and it doesnt last that long, more like an edc….but its a fun fragrance…i get the little tequila/gin and tonic vibe. great when the sun is out and pool side party…very fresh, no one will hate it, very light and breezy and lemony, i carry it in my car to refresh myself. sweet stuff

A waste of money even though it was cheap. cK should just stop doing anymore perfumes. They were really good until reformulation, i guess somewhere in the late 90’s or early 2000s? Its been crap ever since. The only reason i got this was that it was cheaper to get two bottles instead of one(it was a gift for someone in the office and this fit the budget) I used the other bottle and its totally non existent no matter how hot the day gets(i live in singapore so its hot all year round). I can’t even use this as a room refresher as the scent disappears after 15mins.
The only way you can get SOME sort of scent working for you is to douse your shirt with this AFTER ironing or warming it up with heater/hand dryer etc. Unless you’re the sort who who keeps smelling your wrist and think this is what everybody else smell off you, then you’re good. I have 3/4 bottle of this and absolutely cannot wait for this to finish so that i can open the next one.
Edit: I realized i was wrong about this. I cannot expect this to perform like other scents. Its cheap and i can literally splash this all over to smell fresh and clean. I won’t pay more than $30. The Mojito-lime combo works pretty well. Received compliments today! 🙂

I do like this edition but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the 2008 version. That is the one to have and the best of all the CK One Summer editions out there.

Prior reviewers nailed it. CK One Summer 2015 is a dead ringer for Nautica Voyage as it opens, but is nowhere near Voyage in terms of performance for the price. Verdict = Nautica Voyage > CK One Summer 2015.
But never fear…there’s always 2016! Maybe we get lucky and they make CK One Summer 2016 reminiscent of something more expensive than Voyage (maybe like a Prada Luna Rossa). Then we can pick up the 2016 edition at a discounter for a quarter cost of its “doppelganger.”

Its more unique compared to everything in the ck line(aside from ck one shock for him of course) its more spicy than the usual ck one/summer editions, kinda bitter mint-citrus fresh vibe, good but nothing will ever beat 2014 version, more sillage compared to past versions

Repurchase: if it wasnt limited edition hell no! But i might reconsider because of this

Smells gorgeous, not quite as nice as 2014 but still lovely. Very lemon-y and you can smell a bit of gin (at first it smells a bit like cool lemonade!). The sillage and longevity are alright… they’re what you would expect from a summer scent. You get about 5/6 hours and it opens with very good sillage for the first hour then sits close to skin.
    Scent: 8.5/10
    Longevity: 7/10
    Sillage: 7/10

This summer edition is nice. Now if you absolutely loved last year’s, then order more. They have it on eBay. It’s my personal fav and def the most feminine out of the past 5 years! If you loved the year 2011 or 2013, you’ll be cised about this year’s scent. It’s a little more complex-the gin&tonic and citrus notes blend to make a new scent with touches of cucumber and watermelon. Very refreshing and energizing. I will definitely buy more, along with the past 2 years. I am going to use my 2011 & 2012 sparingly since they are about extinct lol! Oh, and definitely buy your bottle on eBay, you will get the same $60 bottle for $20!!! Don’t think it’s better buying it in the department store or Ulta!!

Citrus, cucumber and a somewhat generic aquatic smell are what I pick up mainly with CK Summer 2015. On my skin I even feel it smells soapy at times.
Definitely a more masculine fragrance. It reminds me of the morning after a steamy one night stand where your skin still smells like his cologne mixed with your perfume … only with much less regret.
My husband liked it although he too felt it smelt manly. Luckily he’s never strayed from Armani Code and doesn’t know what a unisex fragrance is so I told him this one was just for girls.

Must say didn’t really care much for this years edition 2014 was amazing (limy-coconut), but idk 2015’s just felt off, I think they could of done with out the Juniper note, it really masc. the scent up more which I didn’t care to much for made it kinda musty-armpitty smelling, can’t say much for the longevity or sillage as to me not caring for it enough to try it on, Do really like this year’s bottle though.

The 1st ck one summer that I love. Sexy summer clean. I bought it for my man but I will try to wear it too.

same as most of other CK One summer editions, feelgood citric with a seaside touch, lovely but not as good as the best one so far,2005 edition

sampled it yesterday.. after bought a full bottled of the 2014 edition, which is nice.. i really not too enthusiast about this 2015 version.. for me, all of the Ck One Summer’s edition are nice in different ways.. but they all bear a similarity, it’s the poor performance.. so, i wouldn’t buy it though it smells nice..

  23. :

I’ll pass on this one. It smells nice, but not exciting. If someone gave it to me, I would wear it, but I wouldn’t buy it for myself.

This is one is bad, When I think about this frag only thing I can think of is CK was trying to put together something good but somewhere in middle they lost receipe and they quit.
***CK One Summer 2015 looks good for garbage bin***
This to me is pure failure from CK. 4/10.

  25. :

    4 out of 5

Just a simple, light citrus scent. Nothing original, it smells almost like cleanser to me, and the longevity is very poor also.
I just bought it because of the bottle!

AMAAAAAAAZING!!! Tried it today and cant stop to sniff my arm. Delicious super fresh and citrusy fragrance. Its more male than female, but I don’t care. Perfect to make sports, which I love. I need a CK One Summer 2015!!!! <3

Watery cucumber. It’s nice, very refreshing, but it’s definitely male type of smelling.

I don’t like this word but it has to be used here ‘generic.’ I’ve enjoyed the last few CK one releases, this one however is as dull as dishwater, smells like a Summer version of Eternity which I can’t quite put my finger on. I will of course buy it, because the bottle is gorgeous. I wanted this to be yummy, it’s palatable.

Deception from my part, had high hope…maybe too much.
Nice smell at first…20-30 min after turn into a mix of Eternity which I personally don’t like.
    I prefer 2014

Did not like this one smells like strong
shampoo and dissapears after a couple hours
    not my style.

I don’t like this year CK One Summer. It smells much better after 30 mins even though it opens kind of synthetic and cheap. And personally I think it’s a little too sweet for summer. I prefer this year Eternity summer.

I love citrus and tangy scents. There is something in this dry down that I couldn’t quite put my finger on…then all of a sudden I realized what it was. There is a faint hint of “grass” in this. The fresh mowed kind. Love it!

  34. :

    5 out of 5

Smells nice but reminds me of Nautica Voyage in the drydown. Performance and price of Nautica Voyage is better!

A very nice, fully-formed, satisfying summer fragrance. Opens with a vibrant splash of Lemon that is very enjoyable, despite the fact that overly powerful citrus notes tend to be cloying and overbearing (such as Nautica Discovery). Here it is done very well and is refreshing and bright, though the slight gin note tempers it somewhat and adds some masculinity.
The middle notes come through clearly, particularly the cucumber. It has a soft, powdery nature that is very pleasant and, if I didn’t know better, would have said included a note of tonka bean. It is very creamy and smooth. Also, unlike some other fragrances, this one actually lingers on the middle notes for a very good length of time, before settling to a very satisfying base that, to me, gives impressions of clean linen in addition to the musky/woodsy/incense accords.
I didn’t notice the ginger on my first wear, perhaps with repeated wearings it will become noticeable as it seems like a logical note that would fit nicely with the others.
Sillage on this was perfect for me. One spray on the forearm and I would notice hints of it often, even just reaching for my wallet or something on a shelf. It also remained quite noticeable all day, so I would say longevity is strong, which is essential for a good summer scent.
My favorite aspect is that it went through its 3 main phrases very noticeably. While many other fragrances seem to last on the opening scent for seconds before becoming skin-close base notes, this lingered on it’s different stages so that they were each noticeable and distinct. For this reason alone it would be a success, but add in the great sillage/longevity, thoughtfully matched notes and the success with which they all come together and this is really a home run. Definitely do yourself a favor and snag a bottle of this before it’s gone, you will be glad you did.

The only truth is that this juice is really fresh and citrusy, to all those who call themselves a fragrance critics, just buy this one and enjoy it, don’t try to sound like the masters of the fragrance world, the watermelon and the woody notes are merely noticeable but an a good way; I really like the longevity and the silage on this one, not out of this planet but better than other Calvin Klein juices, I say is a very safe buy for both ( Unisex ), summer is getting near??????

I smelled this in Dillard’s today and I liked it a lot. Walked around with the blotter a little bit, went to Cinnabon, then I smelled the blotter and realized why I like it so much. It’s because it smells very similar to the one from last year which I haven’t finished. Therefor I won’t be getting this. Cool ocean wave carving at the back of the bottle though.

No matter what this smells like I’m getting a bottle have been for 4 years now. It’s become a summer tradition. The bottle designs are always nice, the scents are hit and miss but always give that summer vibe that makes you happy! Casual light pleasant summery scents!
