Perfume that tastes clean and fresh. A well-made and very appreciated fragrance. Watermelon is something highlighted. Persistence leaves something to be desired but it is still very good.

This fragrance is fresh, yet I wear it for Christmas because to me smells like it. Is the only Revlon scent I like

One of my favorite after shower scents. If it works well with your chemistry (as it does with mine) it smells alot more pricier than the $6 I paid for it. A little beauty. X

I wanted to like this, but just cannot. Its not a neutral dislike. I REALLY don’t. Couldn’t scrub it off fast enough.
Strangely, i like all the notes listed, but cannot detect any of them. And together, really cad abide.
Love Red. Like Gold…..too bad about White.

I don’t like this scent. The jasmine and lily notes are lovely but there’s something very synthetic about the watermelon note. It doesn’t match the other ones in my opinion. This doesn’t smell like a high quality perfume to me but it does become better after a few hours. By then it smells like a pencil eraser.

A lovely “cool” floral that is totally wearable and so inexpensive. For me, this stirs of memories of my mother’s garden in the rain. It does remind me of Geir Ness, but a bit softer and with less of the sharp floral note that I love Laila for.

  7. :

Something in this fragrance smells very synthetic and I can’t get past it. On me this is predominantly bright synthetic white florals with a sharp ozonic quality. It reminds me more of an air freshener than a body fragrance, perhaps this is the fresh element. I’ve since decanted into a reed diffuser in my bathroom.

My favourite of the Charlie range. Very floral and musky. I bought it again when my first one was stolen and unfortunately it is not in the original frosted bottle but still a nice, wearable scent. Great for teenagers.

I don’t remember how I came across a review of this one, but it caused me to go ahead and blind buy it online. Cheaper to do than the gas it would take trying to find this somewhere locally.
I was so surprised by how much I enjoyed this! It’s a super gentle citrus/green tea/pencil shavings at the beginning, which is actually quite nice. Fresh and a little more interesting than I anticipated. I thought there would be more aquatic notes or more of a household cleaner vibe. Nope!
After it sits on my skin for an hour or so, I can pick up the lily of the valley. Unfortunately, it doesn’t last much past that. If I spray my clothing, it will last a little longer than skin but this is more like a weak body spray than an EDT. Good thing it was super super cheap!

And I like this scent because of it’s freshness, it also reminds me of Pure Poison Dior.

actually the base smell good, clean, soft, but it was the opening and middle notes that really bother me. Very synthetic and too much alcohol, giving me headache, and unfortunately, it takes some times to get the base notes. The longevity is good though, good thing since some perfume can’t last that long in tropical weather

I’m still not sure how I feel about this scent. It smells similar to household product. I need some time because I own the frosted bottles and now understand that this makes a difference in smell. I give up on Charlie perfumes. Le sigh….

    This one’s a shape-shifter.
Today, in the unexpected hotter weather, it’s as if a Gin and Tonic has been spilled inside a freshly constructed chest of drawers – bitter lemon plus newly sanded wood being the main notes detected. It almost gave a little hint of M&Ws classic cologne, 4711.
Two mornings ago as my son entered the room where I’d just sprayed the fragrance, he announced the room
‘smells like Subway’- and strangely, it did!
Compare with my earlier review about pencil shavings, or new-car smell!?
In between then and now, I’ve thought it a sneaky Lily of the Valley one evening, but that time only.
And then there was the time I thought I could detect a watery peachy-rose over tangerine. WTF!
No two days alike with this one.
    Still waiting for the watermelon . . . .

I was fond of the Charlie family years ago and have been going back, frankly, because in my post involuntarily retired life some of my favorite fragrances have to be severely rationed.
I am here now because when I sprayed the eau de toilette on my arm, I first got a distinct impression of peppercorn and carnation, which I knew were not in the mix. Several minutes later, I can clearly detect the wood shavings. Frankly, so far I don’t smell any of the fruit and flowers listed and I won’t care if I never smell the fruit. I am really enjoying the inside of my left arm right now, whatever is happening.

  15. :

Completely affordable, and I don’t hate it!
Fun, fresh, quirky, inoffensive and strangely comforting is probably a better description.
I get the “pencil shavings” note, but I find it oddly soothing. It’s perfectly acceptable & adorably pleasing when it gets way too close to 90 degrees Fahrenheit before June 21st in the northwestern hemisphere.
Colder weather is likely to shatter this crystalline house.
But today, with this heat, and threatening thundershowers since early morning, it’s not a bad choice. Greenish-whitish florals with pencil wood (leady-graphitey twigs?) and a bit of fructose.
It’s unusual and unassuming, but absolutely charming in the right conditions, especially considering how inexpensive it is in my neck of the woods.

my worst blind buy. only bought it coz it’s cheap. now i only use it as an air freshener for my toilet. too bad though. i had high hopes for this coz i really love watermelon.

This is on special, along with the other Charlie colours, at chemist warehouse at the moment, $7.99. I sprayed the ‘White’ on my wrist and was hit with full on citrus floral freshness. Maybe ok for the gym I thought, so I kept sniffing as I shopped but it shortly changed into an empty sort of smell with no depth or powdery notes at all. I love powdery!
It probably would suit younger women or girls and for the price, worth a try. Some may find it’s better on their skin than me and if that’s the case then great for the warmer months. I think I’m too old for it!

In my mind, the scent of Charlie White conjures up this image:
It’s summer, so I decide to only take one course- intermediate accounting at the nearby community college. After my morning shower I put on a freshly laundered short sleeved button down collared shirt . Before leaving the house, I grab a fistful of newly sharpened No.2 pencils. Combine those two things- and you should get the idea.

Charlie White is one of my absolute favorites to smell on ladies. It’s such a cheerful fragrance that always puts a smile on my face whenever I catch a whiff of someone wearing it.

One summer when I was in a warm country for a few weeks I was desperately looking for a cheap enough scent for temperatures over 30 degrees – everything annoyed me that was sweet and fruity, and I came across this 100 ml one at the chemists, and I repurchased it the year after- I would probably even wear it now if I was in a warmer climate. I sprayed away like there was no tomorrow, as it didn`t last more than a couple of hours and as I remember it was really crisp, tuberose-y, refreshing and maybe a tad bit synthetic too, but the synthetic feel went away quite fast. It felt just perfect on me in the scorching heat! It`s one of those perfumes that you should really only wear over 25 degrees, otherwise they will give you this `meh` impression. I also bough it for a friend, who told me that it was a bit like floor cleaner..Well, we`re not all the same..
EDIT: I can`t smell any watermelon in this, honestly. Just sprayed it on and it`s basically ozonic, bit sharp tuberose, slightly sweeter as it dries. But no watermelon, none. Lovely anyway.

i ware this one alot in high school its a very clean cut fresh linen scent, the boy i had a crush on always said i smell lovely when he walked past me on my way to school other people also used to comment how nice i smell when i ware this, then sadly shops stopped selling it, i bought D&G LIGHT blue the smell of that is very alike. recently shops started selling charlie again and every xmas and birthday people keep buying me huge bottles of charlie white as it reminds everyone of me, i have more bottles than i know what to do with but i dont think the relaunched versions of charlie white is as good as the original charlie white it dont seem to last as long after few mins i cant smell it anymore it has no staying power its like warter with a hint of charlie in it

This was my first perfume ever. Lol I was 12 yrs old. It made me feel so girly and clean. To my young nose it was a sweet, fresh smell. I loved it so much I went thru two bottles before moving on to Sunflowers.

  23. :

This is definitely grassy green and aquatic. I get a little bit of that lily of the valley and a hint of sour peach. Near the end, I did notice a little bit of watermelon, but it was gone quickly.
Unfortunately, this did turn on me in a bad way.

Oh Charlie oh oh! She’s a Charlie Girl. Lol. Can you hear it in your head?
I really like Charlie White. This was a light scent. I also liked Charlie Red as well. Charlie White Is fresh, clean, girlie and has a slight sweet note surrounded by a nice lush floral garden. I was a fan. Such good memories!

  25. :

This was actually the present I want to get for my mother, but after testing it myself I think I need to get a more special perfume for her, it’s not that Charlie White smell not pleasant, it is actually very pleasant, very green and fresh, white floral, with a little bitter notes, and overall creating the white-greenish fresh kind of smell, relevant to its name.
I ending up using this perfume myself, I’m a male, on my skin this perfume didn’t smell feminine at all, and somehow it smells fresh and masculine on me. some may disagree, but I think Charlie White is a unisex perfume.
Longevity is very good on my skin, easily 6-8 hours, projects very well for the first 2 hours, and blends nicely with my skin but still detectable afterwards, people will surely notice the scent.
There are 2 kind of bottle on the market right now, the frosted & clear glass, still a mystery which one is the official one or maybe just an update bottle from Revlon? I asked the SA at Revlon counter, she didn’t have the answer though, so what I did was comparing the two different bottle on wrist (note that I got the clear bottle), and it turns out has the same smell, projection and longevity.
    My verdict
    Scent : 7/10
    Longevity : 8/10
    Projection : 6/10
    Age : any age
    Cheers

This is my ‘beach’, ‘picnic’ or ‘bbq’ fragrance, and great to spray on after a shower on a hot day. So fresh and crisp!

  27. :

    5 out of 5

I don’t think the full list of notes are shown. All I smelt was a bit of flower and plastic at the beginning maybe this is what they call ozonic or aquatic. Then it was just a strange plasticy smell which I tried to like. Is it the watermelon? I don’t smell any floral or green crispness to this perfume. Maybe it depends on the manufacturing batch? The staying power is definitely very long, on me it started to smell like some kind of BO, no floral, no freshness. I wanted to wash this off. I like original Charlie and I like Revlon Red. Revlon Red reminds me of a true floral, not sweet or heavy but real flowers, that young girl’s perfumes were made of back in the 70’s.

While snooping around my local “Perfume Warehouse Outlet” (nothing is REALLY cheap here and it’s basically a messy fragrance dump with B and C list frags) I discovered…Charlie White!
$6.00 for a full sized bottle because the box was damaged!
I don’t even think I have ever tried the standard Charlie before (LOL) but let me tell you — this is a wonderful “cheapie” ! I picked out the Lily of the Valley on my car ride home (my nose is really getting so much better at identification as of late).
This is a juicy/watery fragrance- the peach and watermelon are there in the background –as is the violet — but LOTV is the star here!
Aldehydes pop in and out as well. Overall — this is a great blind buy cheapie! I want to test the entire Charlie line right now !

I’m another that gets just pencils shavings from this scent. A little disappointed, because I was so looking forward to finding this budget scent with predominately watermelon notes, and it took some time to find a place that had it in stock.
However, I did get a good response from wearing this today. Having again started my day gleefully over-spraying with my cheapie (including clothing and hair) I later had to admit the ‘new upholstery’ smell in the car was my Charlie White!

  30. :

    3 out of 5

Okay, for $9 this is an incredible steal! Blind purchase after stumbling upon it whilst browsing through the notes of Charlie Red and Blue.
Yes, this smells like pencil shavings! Before purchasing this, I chuckled at those comments, but the first 20-30 minutes really does smell like pencil shavings. Pretty damn good pencil shavings at that. But don’t worry, it doesn’t smell of pencil shavings to others. After applying, I could smell this from a distance on myself and it was so pleasant, but when I put my nose to my wrist… PENCIL SHAVINGS! Charlie White is so fresh and light, perfect for spring and summer. Imagine picnics, coffee with friends and afternoons by the pool.
Notes that developed on me: watermelon, peach and lily. The violet plays out towards the end and add’s a subtle powder like aroma.
Longevity is pretty good for a toilette. Around 3-5 hours for this one.
A happy blind buy! A hidden gem, for all aquatic and fresh lovers like myself.

This one was a blind buy. I done the same with Charlie Gold and gladly I love it! But the white one disappointed me! Smells so alcohol like and doesn’t last at all! Quite disappointed! Sorry the honesty but I know some fragrances works for some but not to everyone. I still buying the Charlie Gold though as is my signature fragrance. I just feel sorry that the white one didn’t work for me.

This is a fun little splash of summer fruits and flowers! It is ever so slightly harsh in the initial spray, but then the watermelon comes along, and, well . . . who doesn’t love watermelon? Of course, I don’t necessarily want to SMELL like watermelon.
As it dries down, I get a bit of a soapy LOV note that sort of takes over. It certainly helps the scent from being too immature, and centers it a bit. But I am not a fan of LOV, so this was a bit of a problem for me.
Overall, this is a pleasant, fresh summer scent that can be enjoyed easily with out a whole lot of complexity. For the price, this would be a really nice scent for those who like watermelon and LOV! 🙂

  33. :

It starts with a watermelon note taking centre stage as it stays sweet for almost an hour. At this stage it reminded me of the first quarter life of True Star Gold by Tommy Hilfiger, and I was REALLY hoping for that to change, as it made me apprehensive about it being a teen or preteen juvenile scent. But fortunately for me, it attained puberty and fully transformed into something more grown up and beautiful, youthful, feminine, shy yet social and somewhat on the threshold of being liberated from juvenility and transformed, blossoming up, as expected from every great creator. Flowers bloom, and I mean ‘daisies’ for whatever reason it does smell of daisies, (with a still present dilute undercurrent of what someone else pointed out as watermelon rind, sweet bitter green watery) the floral musk starts to make this scent interesting and pretty. I think it is a compound scent as such because at this stage it is reminiscent of a cross between Daisy (Marc Jacobs and Yardley)and Luscious Pink of Mariah Carey. Although Luscious comes with bellini and marshmallow type sweetness, I don’t see any difference from the sweetness Charlie White has to offer after it settles. That’s where I fell in love with Charlie White.

  34. :

    5 out of 5

The scent seems very green to me – like a dark green watermelon rind, but not the sweetness of the watermelon fruit itself.
I don’t like the smell of this perfume on my skin; however, when I just catch a tiny whiff of it in the air, it’s mildly pleasant.

  35. :

    4 out of 5

The smell is so good but i wish they make it little stronger. It doesnt last for more than 4 hours, but it will always be one of my fav 🙂

  36. :

    3 out of 5

This opened nicely on me, pencil shavings and all, and quickly started to settle. I thought it was fresh and clean. The pencil shavings dissipated and I thought it would be a winner.
Unfortunately, 10 or so minutes in and thereafter, it became quite a bitter fruity scent (guessing watermelon) and did not budge. It reminds me of Inis Or, which I gave away because I disliked it.
It’s not an unpleasant scent, but it’s not the type of scent I enjoy. I was hoping for more of the ozonic and aquatic qualities to be dominant but on me, they’re not. There was no trace of my beloved violet, either.
I’ll give this away I expect. It was a low-risk blind-buy since I paid just £3.89 for 100ml (would’ve bought smaller bottle had there been the option) and at least I know that I am not missing out by not having Charlie White in my collection.
TL;DR; Turns to a bitter fruit on me. Very cheap to buy. As always, YMMV.

  37. :

Fresh and clean and powdery all at once. A perfect “clean” smell for hot days, I feel cooler and more refreshed the instant it goes on.
An incredible steal at the price.

I have this one, which is from London and I think this is different with the Charlie White Eau fraiche. Take note, this is an eau de toilette, not the eau fraiche.
I noticed that this one smell like a classy scent, something that you cannot smell anywhere else. It smells like a masculine fragrance with pencil shavings but not too strong if a woman should use it.
The sillage and longevity is very good, I only sprayed it when I was about to go to work and never sprayed again for the whole day but still really fragrant. Its scent doesn’t change too much as it stays for hours but it turns to be a subtle and a little bit musky.
I tried to layer it with Belladonna by Sophie Paris and it worked really well.. If there is something I want to have for keeps, even if not my signature scent, then I would choose this.

I’ve just received Charlie White from a Friend here and the first impression is very positive – fresh, clean, delicate, like clean laundry – and I love this “loundry” sensation. I’m looking forward to testing it in the summer though, as now – in the snowy winter – I’m totally into a different category of scents;) My bottle was in the UK, I’m curious about the American product. But what I love about this scent is that it’s impossible to overdose it AND – at the same time – even if you don’t apply a lot of it – it will still be sensed.
Main notes IMO – cotton (not listed), ozonic notes and some delicate white flowers.

  40. :

    4 out of 5

I love this for nostalgic purposes. And it’s kind of odd, like me.
Definitely not for everyone, and I do NOT suggest anyone blind-buy this based on its notes.
I wore it in high school in the mid-90’s. This was back when my mom was always bringing home drugstore perfume from the clearance bin at her work. I wore the hell out of it. I thought it was a cute, oddball, punk rock kinda fragrance.
Now I only wear it every once in awhile because I do realize it’s kind of a bizarre one (glad I’m not the only one who picks up the note of pencil shavings. I always thought that and wondered if other people did too!), and the sillage is actually pretty strong coming off me.
But the scent itself is actually VERY dear to me. Based on this review, you maybe wouldn’t guess that? But I love it very much. I always get excited whenever I run across a bottle of this in a random Walgreens or wherever (which is not often).
It’s the only Charlie fragrance I like besides Charlie Black (which I have only ever seen in the UK).

  41. :

    4 out of 5

OKAY! So…I am American. I was just recently in the UK and I noticed that many of the various iterations of Charlie are sold in pharmacies there and they smell…very different from the American Charlies.
I love Charlie White, so I ordered a bottle. It came in the mail today, I sprayed it and was instantly enraged. It smells nothing like the Charlie I know and love. I looked at the box. It is UK Charlie White, which is not the same as the American Charlie White. If you are ordering this off ebay, be aware of this because if you get the British version you will not recognize it at all. It is very likely you will get the British version I think, because Charlie is still kicking in the UK whereas in the States not as much. Don’t know what to do. Smells completely different. I do not like this version. More citrus/musk, less floral. No thank you, I don’t need this. Smelling it puts me in a bad mood.
I have a 100ml bottle of this, up for grabs if anyone knows it and is interested, shoot me a message.

  42. :

    4 out of 5

It’s like baby wipes with some citrus scent. It’s also similar to lemonade (drink), a bit sweet but with lemon.
Watermelon? It’s more like… The dark green skin/shell of it but yes, it has a soft watermelon scent. There’s also a floral “twist” to it but I don’t scent the roses. It’s not very fruity.
I don’t really dislike it but I’m disappointed.

  43. :

    5 out of 5

Well it arrived and I sprayed and the memories came flooding back! It was Christmas 1994 again :)I actually really liked this ..again! Out of all the perfumes I own this bottle of £3.99 for 100ml perfume lasted the longest! The sillage was impressive too, I got the pencil shavings smell again which I loved and the melon, lovely memories glad I bought a bottle.

  44. :

    5 out of 5

I used to wear this as a teenager and have just ordered a bottle to feel 14 again! I remember the pencil shavings smell and a green scent? I will update when it arrives but I remember loving it back then 🙂

  45. :

    4 out of 5

Update: Curious. What makes this a Green group? It’s floral and fruit.
Used Elizabeth Taylor’s Diamonds and Rubies as a one-spray base layer. Added a spray of Charlie White, not directly over, but neighboring. These two play well together. Great gender bend combo. White helps D&R not be too powdery and Diamonds and Rubies helps give White depth.

Can’t get past the 1st 5 mins. Pepper and pencil shavings. I cannot pick up on any of the listed notes, and I am so disappointed as I am an original Charlie fan. Maybe once upon a time, this was a charming scent, but save you money and time now.
I can’t do a regular review due to lack of substance. My apologies.

  47. :

    4 out of 5

Charlie White is the oddest fragrance I’ve ever smelled. On me, its notes are unidentifiable. I’d say pepper if I had to guess the main note. Yet, that’s not listed. Weirdly, I sorta love it though. It’s JUST SO WEIRD. At $6 USD for a full-sized bottle, you might as well try it. Well worth the entrance price to the freak show if nothing else.

  48. :

I do like this scent 🙂 it smells floral and clean, it is light and almost shampoo-like. This perfume could be a cousin of tommy girl, even if this is lighter! I smell distinctly the watermelon, the peach and some flowers. It is indeed an amazing fragrance for its price! I got my 100ml bottle for 5 euros 🙂

  49. :

Very fresh wet scent, all lily of the valley and melon and violet, soft sillage, sadly not very long lasting but really an absolutely gorgeous fragrance. Clean and delicate and very lady like.

  50. :

    5 out of 5

Pretty scent with a prominent lov note, though I get very little of the fruit, and it is very very light, and fades very quickly on me. At least I am able to smell this – I get no scent at all from Charlie Silver!

  51. :

    4 out of 5

I bought Charlie White for the 1st time after reading this reviews on here. I have bought the original Charlie & have always loved this perfume. I have also had the Charlie Red & Charlie Gold when they both came out & I like these just as much as the original Charlie Blue. not tried Charlie Silver yet!
1st spray of Charlie White on Monday to go to work & I was not sure that I liked it.
At first I thought it was a cheap smelling perfume & I did not like it for work, as my colleagues all wear the expensive designer perfumes that are beautiful & overpowering, & would drown Charlie White when they where near me. Today at work, I got a very nice & warming compliment from a patient visiting Outpatients Depatment & a hospital, asking me, “what perfume are you wearing? When I said “it’s a cheap perfume called Charlie White! He said, “it smells beautiful & it reminded him of a bottle of perfume with a Swan on it”! I said, “that’s Vanderbilt, & that perfume is my favourite one, but I’m not wearing it today”!
So, after feeling really good about myself today, I began to smell a very different Charlie White. It has a clean & refreshing smell, which is not cheap at all. I can smell the lime, lily of the valley, & I know that this fragrance changes throughout the day. it is not at all too strong, but very refreshing & long lasting. I think “Charlie, has got it right again” & I know that I will buy this perfume again!

If you like White Linen; and, you’re on a tight budget, this is the scent for you. It’s not my cup of tea,(I was expecting a light fruity scent) but, if you like fresh green notes, this is one is right on point. P.S The dry down lasts for hours.

To start, if you love this scent, please know I wanted to love it too, and I would never bash something just because it wasn’t my style. Ok…
I’ve read so much on here and other places how refreshing and nice this one was, and I thought, I have to try this one! I’ve been really excited about it in fact. So with that research I ordered a new bottle online, having never smelled it. I got it today, so excited…..and what a letdown!!
First of all, the picture on the website was a frosted white bottle, and the one I got is clear. Strike 1. I opened it and smell it, oh my gosh, it was awful. Vague, uneasy, wierd smell. NOTHING like I expected. Strike 2. I immediately got nauseous just smelling it. I kid you not. I’ve never had that happen before. Strike 3.
This one is going back. Really disappointed, I wanted to like it!! I love the original Charlie, but they are alike in name only.

this was my scents a loooooooooooooooong time ago..
    This an affordable daily scent.
I dont think i remember how exactly the scent was. But I do remember i wear it until the last drop. And now i feel like i want to wear this again. Nostalgic feeling buying this with my first wage.
I’m pretty happy with the purchase, well i expect more flowers but its ok. As long as its not too fruity..

I can’t describe the scents I’m getting, but one word comes to mind..synthetic..smells like those ocean or linen scent room freshiners. Just bad..and it lingers for hrs. so for those who like the scent, u’re in luck.

    White is the new green.
No, wait, white is the new…white! Charlie White that is!
If I were to pick a flower to represent this fragrance it would be daisies.
If I were to pick a scene to represent this fragrance it would be a large field (of daisies) but vast and open like in the movie The Sound of Music – Maria singing with her arms out and open on the hillside.
Do, re, mi, fa, so, la, ti, do – The hills are alive with the scent of Char-lie!

You got to be patient with this one…Mix it with Nivea body lotion, leave it to dry on your skin…and there you get a real classic. And of course, dress white 🙂

I had the opportunity to buy this online and I went for it because of the notes. I’m a sucker for melon and watermelon scents, fruity scents and I don’t mind violet.
I was really looking forward to try it when I received it and it’s a total miss! Not a single hint of watermelon, nor peach. All I get is a powerful chemical smell, as if I were in a room full of flower blooms going mouldy. I’m not sure whether I got a bottle that had an issue or if it is the real smell, but it surely is a great disappointment.

a good cheap staple. it is my everyday summer alternative to the original. light and crisp. not as heavy as the others. doesn’t seem to last as long as the heavier ones, but maybe down to the fact that there are no woody or spice notes really, and these are the ones that last on my skin.

A very clean, crisp scent. I don’t get the watermelon note though……Its a safe and neat fragrance for a day date or for work.

I was at Walgreens picking up a few essentials yesterday and saw that the holiday fragrance gift sets are on the shelves now, and, being the fragrance addict that I am, I had to take a look. I saw a box that included 2 bottles of Charlie White for a steal and instantly looked up the notes here. I was a little skeptical when I saw the notes, especially the watermelon and violet, but I couldn’t say no. I figured if I didn’t like it there would be someone that would.
I got into the car and sprayed Charlie White on my wrist, and it was love at first smell. CW is clean, sweet, and fresh. It fits very well in the green floral category. I think the reason I was afraid of the watermelon note is that it conjures up a fake, sugary impression in my mind – like watermelon flavored gum, when it obviously doesn’t really smell like watermelon should. Fortunately for me, that watermelon is nowhere to be found in this fragrance. There is nothing syrupy or overly fruity. The jasmine and lily are the most prominent floral notes. I don’t get any violet whatsoever.
CW reminds me of my signature fragrance Glow by JLo – not because they smell that much alike, but because they both make me feel put together, clean, and feminine. They can both be worn at any time, anywhere, and really any time of year. They are timeless fragrances IMO. Charlie White might end up in my top 5 – a fantastic little drugstore gem!!!

I have to agree with viewdemonde, Charlie White is a pleasant, refreshing, up-lifting fragrance. It would be very safe for a job interview or for a summer afternoon luncheon. It’s light and breezy.
For me, the lily of the valley is most prominent on dry-down, and I was hoping for more watermelon. But still, I love it.
I have been searching in vain amoung pricey fragrances to find a new summer fragrance, and its been there all along.

    I love this one.
Scent of purity, freshness and neatness.
    Light synthetic.
The smell reminds me of a printing press, a new book, with a clean, white sheet of paper-just from printing. It is refreshing and relaxing.
The scent is light and safe. Good for summer.

This smells like Altoids and crushed crowberries and a bit like lychee on my body. I could never, ever wear it. Luckily I got it for a friend and maybe she´ll like it. She´s into aquatics so hopefully she will. It does have that aquatic fizzyness. I do smell the watermelon, but it´s a strange watermelon, almost gone bad. I don´t know why they added the powdery stuff to this because it is merely confusing, but not in a good way…
