The house of Cerruti launches 10,000 copies of its popular men’s fragrances Cerruti 1881 in a new package for 2012. The new box is decorated with a watercolor illustration of an elegant man in a suit silhouette, thus symbolizing the combination of perfumery and fashion.
Each purchaser of this edition gets a chance of winning one of the prizes—the boxes features codes that include five Cerutti suits winners and 500 winners of a tie.
Cerruti 1881 fragrance was launched in 1990, inspired by Italy and Mediterranean scents of pine, cypress and juniper. It belongs to the category of aromatic-fougere male fragrances.
The limited edition is available as 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

I picked this up as part of an exchange after reading about it in Luca Turin’s book. It is fine, nothing too amazing, very strong juniper opening for me. It does have decent longevity and silage, but seems like something you might wear with a suit. I don’t reach for this much now that I have many other options.
