My work scent don’t offend anyone. Smells good skin scent.

this one has grown on me. its citrus the way I like it – warm. There is a bit of cinamon, which as a scent is not my taste, but its not massive in this parfum, though it is there when it warms up. There is also an anise ingredient in this, which I like. It is a warm citrus, with a dry chypre drydown.

Capucci Pour Homme—having debuted in 1967—is a proud representative of traditional, masculine, citrus perfumery from a bygone era. Unquestionably a close relative of both Acqua di Parma Colonia from 1916 and Dior Eau Sauvage from 1966.
Dior is perhaps a bit more refined and polished, but that distinction doesn’t necessarily make Eau Sauvage better—just different. You may indeed prefer the more rustic character of Capucci, or at least on certain occasions. In this respect, I consider Capucci to be a rough-hewn version of Eau Sauvage, and kissing cousins with Calonia. A time-honored classic. I love it!

    Still not listed here:
Capucci Suave – a great clone of Dior Sauvage.
Capucci Evento- another clone of Creed Aventus, smells great, quite close to Zara Vibrant Leather.
Both sharing the same bottle as Capucci Pour Homme.

Although the scent itself is very nice, refreshing, well-balanced… who cares if it doesn’t last more than 10 minutes??
If you get hours of longevity from this, then I’m jealous. Feel free to PM me for a swap, b/c this just aggravates me every time I put it on.
    Nearly new bottle, 95% full.

Many men think women will like them if they wear that gourmand crap because they’re complimented on it. Not really. Women, according to studies, want a man who smells like a fresh shower. Strong and clean. That’s it. A cologne like this provides that.
The strong portion comes from the Oscar de la Renta Pour Lui-like old school herbs and leather smell. Very masculine and grounding. The clean comes from the Agua de Colonia Concentrate (the Spanish one, not Italian) citrus soap smell. Very clean and a bit soapy.
Good scent for any time of day and year, I think. Moderate sillage and longevity on me.

I got this as a chypre fragrance I read about, and noticing it for a very good price I got it.
Citrus, then a sort of light woody sweetness is detected, then cinnamon comes in, and then a mossy dry fuzz continues throughout, and then sort of light boozy fruitiness after the cinnamon retredes. That’s how it has played out on me so far this evening after getting it. I also get a sort of herbal savory scent, maybe bay leaves
Starts off basically a pleasant citrus, and thinking it would be a solo citrus scent, it transforms a bit going forward. I really like the dry mossiness. Maybe it is some patchouli dryness or something too. Yeah and something like bay leaf.
This also does have a little bit of fruity notes in it.
The tagline for this scent is “la tua firma” which seems to mean “your signature” and it’s made in Italy from Capucci which seems to be a haute couture fashion house making womens pleated and frilly dresses.
This has a fair amount of cinnamon which I am not much of a fan of, but it’s not overpowering, adds some roughness and warmth to this citrus scent.
I think it smells similar to a Versace l’homme light.

Beautifully blended perfume. It opens fresh, invigorating, but transforms perfectly into mature, classy, sophisticated juice, that stands on its own compared to Eau Savage or Aqua di Parma colonia.
Two days ago I have tested side by side Aqua di Parma and Cappuci. They are similar, but while Aqua di Parma has fresh, strong opening of various citruses, it stays like that and it is pretty linear and not so long lasting.
Capucci on the other hand, evolves and transforms from beautiful lime/lavander combo to oakmoss perfection.
IMHO Capucci is way, way better than Aqua di Parma. It has character, a fragrance personality of a well groomed gentleman.
Rating: 10/10. Better longevity than Aqua di Parma, too. though projection is subtle, but with 5-6 sprays throughout the day you will be just fine.
If you are buying this as a substitute for Aqua di Parma or Eau Sauvage, then, well, just don’t, because it is a unique fragrance, that basically does not need to be compared to others, it is that good.

Ordered it as a cheap alternative to Acqua di Parma Colonia or Eau Sauvage… Nope. It does remind me of Acqua di Parma ESSENZA di Colonia, though. It has a similar coarsely alkaline soapiness, beginning from the middle notes, but there’s some extra mustiness to it, which makes it less clean. It even took me a while to get the soap impression for all the roughly blended and disorientating notes attacking my nose from the outset, but now, it’s clearly there, even though it’s neither the most realistic nor the cleanest soap accord out there. I think it would be a bit better and fresher with less bay leaf note in it.
I guess, if you consider the low price, it is classy enough… But still, Capucci doesn’t match the elegance of citrusy-soapy ADP Colonia — or herbal-fruity Eau Sauvage, for that matter. So, if you want that kind of vibe, better get the real thing. But if you don’t mind rougher scent profiles and value originality (or perhaps money :)) over everything else, this could be your thing. You might picture yourself as an Italian labourer from the 1920s or something, coming home from a hard day at a factory and refreshing himself with some Capucci Pour Homme while lighting a cigarette, or something in a similar vein. That’s the most sympathetic interpretation I can give.
The top notes I find quite off-putting. I get mainly alcohol with artificial and blunt sour lemon/lime caramel candy notes (without much sweetness though) with the anise shoving it deep into your nose. On the first encounter, it almost felt as if I had sprayed some hairspray on myself. Fortunately, on the skin, these rough notes are toned down in a matter of minutes and you’re left with the soap thing, which is quite OK, if you like soapy fragrances. But don’t get your hopes up too high. There’s a reason this thing is now so damn cheap. Top notes are usually the ones which help to sell the product…
All in all, if you find e.g. ADP Essenza Colonia extremely soapy and like this effect, but find it overpriced, you might want to check this one out, since it’s about 5 times cheaper. But it’s just a suggestion, not a strong recommendation. To my nose, it does not smell “expensive” by any means, so in this case, I got what I paid for. After some wearings, I sold the bottle.

This smells a lot like Dior’s Eau Sauvage, but at a fraction of the price. It’s a very old-world citrus aromatic cologne, and leans very masculine. It opens with very bitter and tart lemon, lime, and oakmoss, with hints of leather. This aroma is extremely masculine and also greatly pleasant to my nose; however it won’t be for everyone as this is very bitter and has no sweetness whatsoever. It’s 100% old-school green chypre and is not a modern sporty citrus or aquatic fragrance whatsoever. This aroma then changes on drydown to basically very green and slightly citric oakmoss with leather and hints of basil, anise, Indian bay, and patchouli. Mostly oakmoss though. The whole thing smells ‘green’ and bitter. Sillage is moderate while longevity is also moderate at around 4-5 hours. Overall, this is a really nice old-school masculine citrus cologne in the same line as Acqua di Parma Colonia and Dior Eau Sauvage (both of which smell somewhat like Capucci pour Homme).

a great lemon opening. the lemon isn’t a clean citrus like Eau de Rochas and it isn’t creamy like Moschino Uomo ? the lavender gives it a barbershop vibe which makes it mature, but not old man. pleasant, clean, mature. recommend try before you buy as it’s not for everyone.

Thanks to Mr Smelly from youtube and his great review I took a chance and did a blind buy on this.Very glad I did.
Love the citrus lemon, lime fruity blast just so uplifting and alive! I do smell a bit of lavender in the mid with more fruit and a little amber but not any tobacco which is ok. Slightly woody oakmoss and herbal dry down similar to Eau De Sauvage the old formulation.
It does have that old school vibe but I think modern enough for most guys over 35 to wear but this is a man’s cologne not a teenager frag!
Some of you may have had expired bottles reading reviews below but this lasted ALL day on my left hand after 2 sprays and was a skin scent the next morning.Love it!

  15. :

    5 out of 5

Few sprays on my sweater, couple of sprays on my collar and I get 10+ hours of longevity and about 4 hours of solid projection.
Fine, classy lemon with herbal undertones and a hint of that old school swagger just to set things straight – are you a James Bond or not?
A little bit of tobacco, a bit of lavender and a good dose of lime juice squeezed on top of this potion. I get image of Peter Ustinov in “Topkapi” and Peter O’Toole in “How to steal million dollars”.
It is one of those frags that goes really good after close shave while fixing your perfect tie knot and checking if your shoes are neatly polished.
And then you go out in that refreshing summer morning and no heat or city rush will scare you that day because you have your Capucci pour homme – a macho anti depressant.

    Blind buy!
I like the opening and scent in general. It lasts about 10 minutes on my skin, and that is a huge disappointment.
It is really nice for a short time. Citrus, herbs, and powder. There was no real drydown.
8 sprays on arms for testing. I have asked my son and 3 others if they smell anything, and none could identify any scent on my arm 20 minutes after application(I use unscented deodorant, laundry detergent and fabric softener, and oatmeal soap for reference).
Weather today was warm for winter (15C/65F).
I will try again when spring arrives and the air is different. I also tried it outside to see if it came alive in the outside air and nothing.

Vintage jewel that costs pocket change.
One of the best citrusy openings in the market.
If it was labeled Armani, it would cost 10 times more and it would be always sold out.
    Only issue – tacky bottle!

in its vintage incarnation this scent was stunning, with a very retro style pretty much on the same wagon with YSL Pour Homme, ELdO Je suis un Homme, captures the very essence of the vintage formula…now this scent is sold in drugstores chepo shelves!

So the ONLY reason I bought this was because Mr. Smelly has been talking about this fragrance non-friggin-stop. So I finally caved in and shelled out the 13 bucks, and bought a bottle.
This is a nice fragrance, it has an old school vibe to it. One of my favorite fragrances is Acqua Di Parma Colonia, and I can see the comparisons to it. But this is definitely no substitute, they really aren’t THAT similar. It’s almost as if they switched the potency of one of the ingredients and really amped down another when compared to ADP Colonia. What I mean is that it looks like the oak moss is way more prevalent in this one, as opposed to lavender. So while they both share similar notes, they are both rather unique in their own way. This is citrusy and clean, and does have an old school feel to it. My wife and I also noticed that is does remind us of a bar of soap. Which one exactly? I’m not sure, but it’s something i’ve smelled before, reminds me of the 80s/90s somehow.
If you’re into Chanel Pour Monsieur, Dior Eau Sauvage, ADP Colonia, etc, then you might find this one interesting.

I think I start to become obsessed about this fragrance, I love so much its zesty lime opening and its green soapy drydown. It has a retro vibe, some may say it’s dated so it’s not a safe blind buy IMO.
Big thanks to MrSmelly from YouTube for his great review that made me test and buy this absolute gem.
Good performances on my skin and it’s totally different to my other fragrances.

What an amazing scent! The opening is a mix of old school Armani PH and Eau Sauvage and then settles down to add Giorgio for Men to the mix.
    Classic and elegant.

This is original italian chypre. Someone said Pour Monsieur and he was somewhat right. Its also in the same genre as Givenchy Gentleman (vintage), Eau Sauvage and Aqua di Parma Essenza or Cologne. This is even a bit deeper because of that leather note in background and its very mossy too. Its like going into a traditional italian barbershop on a hot summer day, getting a nice shaving and the barber gives you a few shot of this fresh citrusy stuff on your skin which starts to burn but refresh at the same time.

this juice is FAKE…Capucci discontinued this fragrance by the late 70’s or early80’s I purchased a 3.4oz from Ebay and the scent is rough and not nuanced like back in the day. This cant even be a reformulation. Its just a fake. Its soapy(not in a good way) and harsh…I wore Capucci pour Homme as a signature scent for yrs back then..then it was completely GONE. The bottle in many ways is not the signature design.the triangular shaped glass now has rounded edges and the cap never had a logo on it..the printing of the name on the bottle was in brown..now its slightly raised clear(poured)glass. This juice is so not authentic…no reformulation in my opinion..i wore this constantly and know its soul.

I tried this as a blind buy, and now I suspect my bottle had turned bad. It started out with a pleasant citrus burst, but then all too soon that left, and it took on a very “off” and dank smell, nothing at all like the reviews I have read. I’d like to find a fresh sample so I could re-evaluate it.

This one needs some modern marketing. It’s possibly the best summer fragrance I own. If you are a man of distinction, then this should be in your summer wardrobe. It’s the kind of scent that will have women crooning if you are the right type of guy. You have to be stylish, a professional with a light heart. That’s what this scent convey’s.
It’s a citrus masterpiece. Modern fragrances aren’t this exact when it comes to the lemon/orange zest that this one has. Acqua Di Parma is definitely comparable to this. Also, Eau Sauvage (not Sauvage).
It’s hard for these type of fragrances to smell dated though, even though they are pretty old. They smell too citrusy. Citrus doesn’t smell old. It smells like citrus.
As Citrus-y fragrances go, these notes last pretty long on this one. There’s a grass in this fragrance though. That grass reminds me of an older gentlemen who is on a golf course. It truly reminds me of guys who when I was a kid had all the money and played golf. Seriously, this stuff smells like you should be loaded. I’m just saying honestly. I think that’s something.
Everyone else is out smelling fresh and good and playful for the summer. This will set you apart because you will smell like you are a man. Also, a man who has money. Which one of these scenario’s gets more guy’s laid? I rest my case.

  32. :

Roberto Capucci Pour Homme is one of the best summer fragrances that is more than just a skinscent. along with vintage versions of:
    Nino Cerruti Pour Homme
    Victor Acqua di Selva
    Nina Ricci Signoricci
    Christian Dior Eau Savage
    Jean Patou Lacoste
    Molyneux Captain
    YSL Kouros eau de sport
after the 70’s the great summer scents almost disappeared due to the cost of top botanicals,
    tutti frutti took over!

Absolutely fantastic mens fragrance. I could imagine all Italian men wearing this in the late 60-ties.
It is so attractive, very well blended and sophisticated in a masculine style.

  34. :

    3 out of 5

This is an old-school, Mediterranean-style chypre, nothing trendy or modern about this one at all. Think of this like a blend of Eau Sauvage and Chanel Pour Monsieur (the regular version, not the Concentree you see in most stores). The citrusy opening is like Eau Sauvage, but it’s got a green floral smoothness like Chanel PM. If you love old-world fragrances from the golden age 60s and 70s like I do, this is definitely worth a try, even a blind purchase. The drydown is really mossy, which gives it that old-style charm. I’m surprised labdanum isn’t listed here, since I can smell it, and this is no doubt a chypre.
Unlike most reviewers here, on my skin the sillage is very subtle, and longevity isn’t great, at about 3 or 4 hours. That’s strange, since I usually get really good longevity and projection on most fragrances I wear.
This is the kind of scent you’d want wear while walking around with your shirt unbuttoned a few notches in the summer.
    My rating: 8.5/10

Capucci pour Homme: I wanted to love this fragrance, and purchased it in large part due to strong endorsements from a number of reviewers below whom I greatly respect. I have worn Capucci pour Homme on a few occasions now, and I just cannot connect the fragrance to the accolades it has garnered. I prefer “old-school” scents, but all I get from this is lemon. Soapy lemon. Essentially it seems identical to lemon-scented furniture polish!
Perhaps I have purchased a reformulated bottle, although I cannot determine whether this product has ever been reformulated. On the plus side, the sprayer is brilliant: an atomizer which releases a continuous mist when you press, and only stops when you release the button. Very cool. But the smell is a mess: nothing other than citrus. I detect no leather, patchouli, oakmoss, florals etc. That holds true from the opening notes to the base notes: lemon, lemon and more lemon. Soapy lemon.
I don’t think that I bought a fake since I purchased this at a reliable bricks-and-mortar specialty shop that I know well and trust. Maybe a bad batch? Maybe a reformulation? Definitely a let-down, and as a result I recommend that you should not buy Capucci pour Homme without trying it first.

I blind bought this based on the reviews, I was very excited to get it but when I did I about died! It’s horrible to me! I really don’t know why but it’s just plain terrible. I don’t smell any of the notes listed so I’m not sure what scent is offending me. It just smells like a mess of unknown ingredients were thrown in. Maybe I didn’t get what I paid for?

Very classy. I have worn this alone and got compliments… I have worn with oud and got compliments… I have worn with sandalwood and got compliments. $15 U.S. on ebay for a tester. Great buy and a great, classy fragrance.
    Scent… 5/5
    Sillage… 3.5/5
    Longevity… 5/5

This fragrance means CLASS! A very 60’s composition a la Eau Sauvage but more dense, it has a hint of leather that gives a different body to the smell. Go for it!!! If you can, get the vintage, very mossy . Great!!

Beautiful fragrance with a very classic feel to it. It opens up with a very lovely citrus scent. My girlfriend was at my place the day I received it and she loved it immediately. Longevity on it was very impressive and it finishes off very nice. This is a clean fragrance and feels more suited for a man in his 30s or above. It gives me that vibe of a clean scent you’d get from an old school barber who sent you off smelling like a classy guy, except in this case the fragrance lasts a hell of a lot more than 10 minutes. Considering the price, it’s a great buy even on the blind. Decent alternative to Aqua di Parma, although of course if you can get your hands on both, why not. It’s a good reason why it’s been round for so long.
update: it’s spring…a very warm spring for DC, and i’m now using this thing. I still love the scent, but sadly it has the worst flaw any fragrance could have, really poor longevity. It’s a cheap frangrance, but for me it’s too expensive for such lousy longevity. At best 2 hours on me. Hopefully better on other users. Enjoy.

A cheapie at fragrancenet so based on the reviews and ratings here, worth a blind buy. I was hoping for stronger citrus in the beginning but it is OK as it is. Everything is well blended for an overall classic style.
I get a slight soapy note from the first spray. I know a lot of people consider that to be a good thing as it conveys cleanliness, but it is not something I prefer. It makes me feel like I didn’t rinse off in the shower properly.
The weather is warming up here so this will become part of my regular rotation and should last all summer. Then I will see if I want to get another.

First of all, many thanks to Grottola and Ericrico, I read your comments, and decided to buy this Capucci pour homme, and I really love it.
Capucci pour homme smells like an old school chypre (in a very good way, I enjoy good and classic old school fragrances), I didn’t catch any leather note, maybe it’s because the oakmoss has become the main note after drydown.
I think it can also be wore by female,if only the woman wearing it suits the characters of the perfume, casual, relaxing while remaining sharp, clever and stylish at the same time.
As for man, it is super easy to wear this, anytime, anywhere, with any type of clothes. You can wear it when in office, or when taking a nice relaxing walk with your friend (or lover, family members, etc.) in the park, or just wear it when going to sleep.

  44. :

Suave, refined, gentlemanly and smooth with an italian flair. A classic Italian chypre that is a joy to wear.

  45. :

    3 out of 5

I have no idea how people are getting a strong leather note from this unless “leather” conveys such a wide variety of associations that it becomes a default for what can’t be described.
In any case, what I get at the opening is citrus and incense. This means that right off the bat, this is not a fresh scent. From the beginning there’s something heavy there, what shamu on his blog rightly calls a dirty citrus. The oakmoss probably contributes to this.
The drydown turns it into a skin scent. Someone on BN described it as Ivory soap. I think it’s close to that but with hints of citrus, anise, and incense remaining. A gentleman’s smell.

  46. :

    5 out of 5

I really wonder (literally) what hallucinogenics people might be on regarding the statistics on this page about sillage. Showing predominately enormous sillage voting, I have to say is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen on this site.
To the scent. Others here, especially Ericrico have articulated well the feel of wearing Capucci Pour Homme. It’s very gentlemanly and classic smelling. It is not unpleasant to me in the least, but this type (along with Chanel Pour Monsieur, Eau Sauvage, etc) are simply too light for my tastes and preferences. I well know others prefer this subtlety, but I am one who does not. Poor projection, but better than average longevity for my skin. No disrespect intended to this classic old school scent, but my rating has to be 6.4

  47. :

Please produce Intense or Concentree version of this frag. The best perfume I’ve ever smelled but the longevity and sillage are not so good.

Just received this gem and it is terrific! The notes listed above are accurate, except for tobacco. On me this a clean fresh fragrance. This juice I wear for me, since it’s not a common scent and it does seem dated. But it’s all good and I’m excited to wear this in the spring and summer.

Vintage Capucci pour homme is a beautiful fragrance .If you love Dior Eau Sauvage , you could love this one as well . It is very easy to wear : elegant or casual , as you like it . Also easy to wear by women who appreciate smooth chypre for men .I got it for a song !
I guess it has become underrated or forgotten even if it does not smell old fashioned at all , in my opinion .

This is a star, sophisticated but not pretentious. It is the scent of a man who has achieved balance and confidence. It announces a man of importance with a gentle but firm voice. A beautifully harmonious chypre that evokes the chic and class of the 1970s. I can picture Paul Newman wearing this during the card game on the train in The Sting. Style personified.

I bought Capucci Pour Homme back in the 1980’s and I loved it. After many years I bought it once again. I did not remember how it smelled back then. Now, the initial spray was very strong citrus with alcohol. But the dry down is herbal, amazing and very elegant. I love fresh citrus fragrances and this one will be one of my favorites.

A little while ago while I was out shopping I got to hear this scent, I could feel a fragrance elegant and refined, but also refined and gently wooded with citrus dosed with great skill; being going strong for more than forty years remains always a timeless classic.
Released Pool (perhaps the sun is very hot these days) I felt a hint of these notes much more powerful and even though I brought a pair of jeans and a shirt, I almost had the impression of being out of a tailoring with a new new dress, summer comes deserve this compliment olfactory.
How I love the vintage, it is not just nostalgia, but the desire to surprise and Capucci makes a great master.

  54. :

    3 out of 5

A slightly powdery citrus chypre, though very light, with a hint of the animalic. I suspect reformulation with less of the essential oils, but no synthetics to make up for the loss. Expect to spray 10 times or more for the amount you get from one spray of a fairly strong men’s fragrance that is similar. Yes, it smells nice for what it is, but after an hour or so there’s not much to smell. Perfect office fragrance for the non-youthful crowd, presumably. I think I’d go in the direction of something like Lauder for Men when I’m in the mood for this sort of thing, as it is much stronger and I like the composition better.

I blindly bought a large bottle for under $30 USDs. All of the rantings below are known and trusted. ericrico, and grottola have talented and similar noses. I took the plunge.
This has a list of ingredients on the box. I assume it is authentic with everything intact. My nose is very sensitive to oakmoss or the lack of it. Its here, along with coumarone. This is one of the finests chypres for men ever. This is one of the great classics that few knew about.
I was introduced to Capucci a few years ago with Capucci de Capucci. He was the Italian Givenchy, obviously a huge talent. Pour Homme reminds of Aramis, Eau Sauvage and Chanel PM with an Italian accent. These are classics that generations of men are familiar with. This one was lost.
If you like tradition served with lemon, patcholi and oakmoss, get some. I also get vetiver-not listed on the note pyramid. The coumarone nearly turn it into a fougere, yet it is suave enough to hold the chypre class.
Its notes are perfect in warm weather and blend so well it is a true composition like Aramis. The bay and lavender keep it very fresh and clean. This is 007 style from the subtle 1960s. Its retro, yet since this is my first encounter with it, very modern. It creeps up on you and wont let you forget it.

    Just a little follow-up review:
Thank you all for the wonderful responses to my review. It means a lot to me. ericrico’s review is also very thorough and well-done, so major props to him.
Capucci Pour Homme also has powderiness in it, which brings it sort of close to Chanel Pour Monsieur, or, Chanel for Men in the vintage formulation. Also something peculiar is a noticeable lavender note, and when you think lavender, you probably think of a fougere. Yet, Capucci Pour Homme smells like, and is more structurally like a chypre. So how about that? It’s sort of a chypre-fougere hybrid, a rare occurrence in perfumery.
When the weather gets too warm for Patou Pour Homme, I’ll break out the Capucci Pour Homme and bask in its glory.

    YES!!
This is the men’s fragrance I’ve been looking for all along!
I’ve you’ve read my reviews before and looked at my collection, you should probably be able to gather that I’m a fan of chypres, especially citrus chypres. I used to really like Eau Sauvage, but over time it’s been reformulated and the citrus was flattened a lot. The original Eau Sauvage lives on in Capucci Pour Homme, but with a pleasant surprise – a Jo Malone-esque lime and basil accord in the top that lasts through the drydown. It blends flawlessly with the fruity-chypre heart and peppery neroli accord; not just that, but I can smell some hefty oakmoss in the base, and, like all good chypres, it resonates a “warmth” from my skin, a type of warmth that I can only smell in a well-made chypre. Capucci Pour Homme is a great everyday fragrance, especially for someone like me – it’s intellectual, but caring and loving; it’s intelligent but not a smart ass, and it’s classy without being pretentious. It lasts for at least six hours on the back of my hand, and over seven on my wrists and arms. If you’re a fan of classic men’s fragrances, chypres, citrus fragrances, citrus chypres, or all of the above, then you need to try Capucci Pour Homme before there’s no more left. It really is a hidden gem.

I put this on after a shower a few nights ago and fell asleep smelling it, as did my wife. Classic, chic and a wonderful chypre in the Italian style! This is not modern, but that is why I like it even more…its authentic charm. Could definitely be unisex on the right woman, but I think this leans towards being masculine. The burst of mainly lemon & lime with some bergamot joining in is fantastic on top – fresh-squeezed and very juicy! Most people today, except for those who know fragrance, would strictly classify this as a Spring/Summer daytime scent that needs warmth and sunshine. Well, a well-constructed chypre that has good mid and basenotes is actually year-round, like Capucci Pour Homme…and could most definitely be worn in the evenings of Spring, Summer and even Fall days.
