I was skeptical of AE perfumes at first…and when the first one I smelled was Crush, I was so certain AE’s scents just weren’t for me. Boy, was I wrong when I decided to give the innocent green flacon a whiff (well, the one I saw had a green flacon instead of a floral print one)! I got the roller ball in case I changed my mind about the scent after wearing it for a week. So far, I have yet to chuck this.
What hit me was a fresh green-ness that wasn’t overbearing. It reminded me of lemonade stands and fresh cut lawns…really fresh and citrusy, but mellowed out with a bit of floral. The floral came after the initial burst of freshness.
It dries down to a slightly soapy green-floral, which I really loved because it was clean but sophisticated in a subtle sort of way. My cousin said it smelled spicy on me…I didn’t detect that, but I guess perfume hits everyone a little differently. Lasts all day, one application on my wrists and the back of my ear is enough to last the whole day!

Soooo I’m a little annoyed that back in the day when I only used to own a few perfumes and a couple body sprays that I let my guy friend convince me to buy Crush instead of Bohemian. He claimed Crush smelled girlier and I should get it for that reason. I can’t believed I listened to him lol. >.<
Oh well I ended up getting it anyways a year or so ago just before it got discontinued. Bohemian is my favorite offering from American Eagle. It soo good for a fresher fragrance. It is not too sweet or overwhemling. Light, playful, and whimsical is the way I would describe it. A bright citrus opening followed by a soft floral sweetness which I’m assuming is the peach blossoms. There is a slight spicyiness created by the ginger and verbena which makes this fragrance zesty. Bohemian’s dry down is a clean musk with cedar undertones. Everytime time I wear this it puts me in a good mood. Very uplifting! If you ever happen to come across it definitely either try it out or pick up a bottle of it! ^_^

I love this scent; It’s fresh, bright and citrusy! Unfortunately, others don’t seem to love it on me as much. Whatevs, the green bottle is super pretty.
