The composition is a modern floral – fruity. It opens with juicy and slightly salty, gourmand flavor of caviar with raspberries. The heart is rich with flowers such as violets, iris and Tahitian tiare. The base includes woody tones, incense and musk.

The fragrance is available as 50 ml Eau de Toilette.

FYI Fragrantica: The caviar note is incorrect in the Fragrantica listing. (There’s QUITE a few incorrectly listed notes on several perfumes on the site. It’s rather frustrating)! There is NO salt at all in Bloom! (I made certain of that before I bought the bottle). This perfume is fruity-floral, not salty in the least. The correct note should be “raspberry caviar”, not salty caviar AND raspberry. Meaning those tiny candy balls in frozen yogurt stores like PinkBerry & Orange Leaf that resemble caviar in appearance but burst with pure FRUIT JUICE, NOT the nasty fish egg sort. And now for my review: This is a very sheer, delicate feminine floral. Sheer, juicy rapberry dissipates quickly as powdery violet begins to poke thru the veil of topnotes. The violets dominate the heart with a hint of tiare. This stage lasts no more than an hour with very soft sillage. The violets eventually fade to a clean, white musk that seems to increase in intensity on my skin as it dries down making the overall fragrance a floral-musk scent on me rather than a fruity-floral. The longevity is 4-5 hours at most with soft sillage bordering on a skin scent.

This was a blind buy for me and I didn’t care for it all that much because of all the violet and Iris. I just tried it again and now I kind of love it (which is weird but whatever.)
It’s an extremely feminine powdery floral with a hint of incense to give it depth and a wink of bad girl inside of the librarian.

Very nice, delicate, flowery and powdery scent. Unfortunately lasting power is none. I can barely detect it after approx. 30 minutes. I would buy it anyway, but it is way too expensive for such light and dissapearing fragrance. I like it alot, but buying it would be very irresponsible economically 😉 Too bad.

Got it from DFS in NY, JFK untried and with some doubts after reading the reviews here. I may say the negative ones are pretty unjust. This is a lovely French floral frag, close to the skin but not as ephemeral as other reviewers seem to imply. It has a certain girly personality but it also suits a more mature skin. Wear it with a smartly casual printed dress in April and May and it may feel you blooming and discretely feminine.

Four sprays & 30 minutes later, barely detectable. I have bbw body sprays with more silage & staying power.
It IS a nice summer scent, but I cannot believe how light it is. I get more sweet berries than violet. I will use it, but I am sure I will need to toss in my purse for repeated touch ups.
Pity, really, as I do love my givenchy scents.

Let’s start talking about exclusivity, something that seems to be very important in recent times. In 2013, the House of Givenchy released this fragrance as a limited edition, which was sold, initially, in airports around the world. Currently, the distribution has already arrived in some stores, but like all limited edition, the number of bottles produced is restricted, which means that, when all units produced are gone, there will be no more for sale.
It is composed by notes of raspberry and caviar, in the output; the heart brings notes of violet, Tahitian gardenia (Tiare flower) and iris; and at the base, Woody notes, musk and incense. It’s a youthful and relaxed fragrance. The output is pretty fruity and the raspberry note arrives with full power. The caviar note didn’t make too much difference, in my opinion. I think the presence of this note of salty aspect is, precisely, to soften the sweet raspberry output and do not let you walk around with lollipop smell.
When the central part of the evolution occurs, the flowers are very mild, with emphasis on the Tahitian gardenia, with smell that can remind you of moisturizing lotion, slightly scented. When arrives at this stage, the fragrance is more feminine, without seeming too teenager. Finally, from the base, I just could identify the musk, with all its sensuality.
To sum up, I’d say it’s a mild perfume, great for everyday use and hot weather and that can be worn by older women, as well as by the vain teenage girls. I also remember that, being a creation for the female audience, the fragrance may present a completely different result on woman’s skin. Who knows the IRIS will not prevail? Or the incense? So, the important thing is always try on your own skin. Worth commenting that I thought the projection weak and the lasting just median. But I see this as part of the concept. And as it is a limited edition, is sold only in bottles of 50ml EDT.
Brazilian women, try to know it!

I have no idea why, maybe it’s the incense and woody notes, but this smells like smoke on my skin. I’m not a smoker but this makes me smell like one!

It doesn’t look as fancy as some other Givenchy perfumes. The smell is very soft – almost like a body mist, just not as synthetic and cheap smelling, but it’s not an exclusive smell either. It reminds me of Versace’s Bright Crystal, just.. not aquatic nor soapy, less powerful and less longevity. It’s a very girly, flowery, light perfume that can easily be worn in the middle of a hot summer (althoug it might affect its wear time) – I just can’t imagine that this would offend anyone. The longevity is the drawback – it only lasts a little over an hour on me. The sillage is very soft – more than half an hour after application, most people would probably not smell this on me at all. Despite this… I like it, but I’d have a hard time recommending it to people, definitely NOT because of the smell, but because of the longevity and sillage – they are quite a bit of a rip-off, really.
About the smell (on my skin): first off: there is NO caviar in this. Right after you spray it, there is almost no alcohol, but I get some (very good) fruity zing, for about 30 seconds. Then the violet appears, with some very delicate green notes. The the violet almost disappears, and some very soft raspberry + a little bit of flowers appear. Then it’s this violet-raspberry-soft flowers that remains for the whole time I wear this. It’s should be very easy to decide if you like this or not while in the airport, because the development of the fragrance happens within minutes – 5 is enough.

I’m not a fan. There really isn’t much to say for this other than it smells very “plasticky” and synthetic.
The lasting power and silliage are also non existent though given the smell, I’m not complaining

A little cloying and common. I’d expect more from such a label.

I’m afraid with the Caviar,my last experience to this note was on Womanity, the worst scent in the world…

It is indeed sweet and girly. Not too sweet, but reminds all those raspberry-rose scents that filled the shelves recently. More powdery, than juicy (unlike other raspberry-rose scents). Gentle and pretty.
Also, there is no caviar note. The tester bottle listed the only top note as ‘raspberry caviar’ – probably they meant mashed raspberries or some sort of a jam?

I love this scent. It’s girly and adorable, reminds me of candy canes and lollipops and daisy fields.. with a sprinkle of class 😀

Oahsa described perfectly the perfume: girly, close to the skin, light, fresh, soft, summery. Indeed it lasts a couple of hours, and it is absolutely adorable. Not outstanding, but deliciously attractive.

This perfume is very light, fresh, soft and girly, I think you’ll be the only person smelling it.
It’s sweet and floral with a tiny bit of mint in it.
My skin absorb it very fast and it last for couple hours or so on my clothes.
This for sure a summer smell, and you’ll need to spray many spritz of it too.
Even though it’s very light, but for some reason I love it.

FINALLY the duty free exclusive from Givenchy i really like! We had them before and i have tried them all, but for the first time i am really liking it.
Please be aware that when you spray it onto the paper you will get a completly different scent than you will get when sprayed onto skin. On paper it was very dry and bitter unpleasant, after a short while, however it became very soft and light. I decided to spray it onto my skin and what i got is a much better composition: Yes, it is a bit sharp and still bitter at first but it lasts only few moments. In a very short while it transforms into great light raspberry with a strong note of violet. Not sicky sweet, but airy and bewitchingly adorable floral fruity. Gladly i DON`T smell any caviar here.
The drydown is all about raspberry and violet.
The only biggest minus here is the weak lasting power (just a couple of hours) and soft sillage. Why couldn´t they make it more potent???!!! Bottle is adorable as well. I will sure get this one.
P.S. I think it is an universal fragrance, it can be used at winter time, that´s when it blooms, also very nice for spring, might be great for summer, but because of the weak sillag and lasting power, i guess it would be not the best choice for summer, you will have to reapply it constantly.
UPDATE: there is a mistake in database with notes, there is NO CAVIAR note in this fragrance, as listed on tester bottle the top note is a raspberry caviar, which is most probably (i presume) smashed and icy raspberries. So NO caviar, as it was listed from the beginning. No tiare, woods and incence as well are listed on the tester bottle and i don´t smell them at all (some others don´t smell them either)
