I tried these fragrances at a gift shop in Portland recently. Black sand was underwhelming compared to White sand. White sand was much more full bodied. I am a fan of vanilla sandalwood scents I would have expected to like it more but it kind of fell flat for me. It’s not a bad scent at all, just not one that I would buy.
