I appreciate the “naturalness” but this is one of the worst fragrances I have tried, at least on my skin. Opening is intense but not in a nice way. Smelled kind of like urine but in the drydown it became a little more tolerable. Maybe it’s the sage. Received as a free sample but can’t see wearing this, casually nor definitely at work or formally.

Love this very natural and well blended cologne it makes me feel like I am in nature and not merely wearing a perfume. Also live Mojave the desert one as well.
albourus – :
Opening is very masculine, strong and surprisingly almost balsamic and medicinal. It settles into a clear wispy white sage.

sage totally dominates this scent (i thought it was thyme/oregano, i’ll admit!), along with some dry woods in the background. not all that complicated, but at the same time quite solid. this is not the sorta thing i go for. herbaceous scents usually need a calming, soothing white floral for mine. but that’s just me i guess. anyway, quite a nice smell…
DJANAR – :
Fragrant turpentine camphorous smell shaded with eucalyptus. Wonderful!!!!!! Has a hint of that menthol salve . . . very refreshing. Almost medicinal.

Yes, indeed, this is what the California coast smells like! I used to work at Camp Pendleton (near San Onofre) when I was a Marine, and vividly remember this green, pungent, sagebrush and camphorous (eucalyptus) note. Takes me right back… very evocative.
It goes on quite strong, but then settles down. On cotton it will last for many hours – on skin, not so much.
$60/ounce? Not a bad price to revive one’s twentysomething memories!

Update: I bought a bottle. Had to have it.
