Description

The male fragrance Biagiotti Due Uomo was introduced together with the female Biagiotti Due Donna in 2006. It was inspired by a modern love romance between two independent persons. Opening with fresh notes of lime, anis and incense, it goes through the heart of coconut and sage, and dries down to the base of vetiver, opopanax and patchouli. Packed in a blue box with a bottle identical to the female one, it is available as 30, 50 and 90 ml EDT and the matching body care line of lotion, after shave, deodorant, bath…

Due Uomo was one of my first scent that I was infatuated with in my fragrance journey. The opening with some lime and vetiver (the green side of it) that went to patchouli and light coconut was something that really was different from what I had sniffed to that point and it was so good that I just had to have it even if it wasn’t in stocked in my local shops beyond the lonely tester.
Drydown brings the coconut forward a bit especially if you get warmth to the spot you sprayed the fragrance and overall it brings the scent alive with some resin and meaby smoke something lightly sweet. Without the added warmth the scent is nice but bit forgettable dusty vetiver/patchouli and coconut whispering in the background mostly unnoticeable, sadly.
Longevity is actually nice on me, lasts pretty much all day though sillage lets me down as I’m lazy individual that doesn’t get enough heat from activities usually so the fragrance is mostly just a skin scent. However, if I get some heat from whatever source to fragrance it quickly gets acceptable sillage.
Overall Due Uomo is inoffensive, cheap scent that would be nice for active people or on warmer weather. Speaking on weather, I find it one of those nice scents that I feel like wearing though whole year even if it performs better in sunshine, it’s fresh enough for hot weather but it has also some backbone for colder days; not for the extreme weathers for either end but still. I’m happy with this one still, even though it isn’t as great as it was for me when I got it all those years ago.

    Strange approach masculine seduction …
Coconut ?? Sweet, dusty, sexy scent, although a little deodorant almost choking
But masculine, seductive … specifically Italian !!!
Rather, flirtatious, overwhelming his character ….
The quality is noticeable and unique aroma of perfume …….
It may be a bit lacking in the male line, but it certainly will like the ladies !!! Pleasant goods …
Not a good choice to have fun !!
    Sillage close to the skin.
I prefer to romp home, or a rendezvous in the night …..
Maybe the “Due” in this case is not the second, but rather “together” …

Was a blind buy and what a sweet surprise! I fell for it as soon as it left the bottle, moderate projection and sillage but lasts quite a lot on my skin.
Would buy it again if I didn’t find anything special in it’s price range for it gets me compliments for it is something different, a rare touch.

I like the smell, just like.
Not any projection and longevity tho 🙁

Much patchouli, and i love parfums with patchouli. I agree with the review from VanAllan. Wonderfull for cold times (fall, winter and beginning of springtime). For me this fragrance is not so coconutty on my skin. It’s sweet with a touch of freshness (the lime) and very long lasting. Two or three sprays after shaving in the morning will last the whole day. Great!

    Unbelievably dull.
Poor lasting power, which in this case is not a bad thing.
Pretty nice bottle though. Shame about the contents.

A fragrance with coconut and incense notes? wow…I though this would be my new favorite fragrance.
    oh how wrong was I
Due first smells little citrusy…nothing special. then it becomes very clean smelling, soapy with hint of coconut…disgusting! I tried to wash it off my skin but the scent stayed! ugh
I gave it to my father, he wears everything

I’m using it now and the best part is the heart) of this fragrance – very unique, like a frozen night somewhere in the endless dark.. but in the very same time is limely fresh and permanent.A typical high quality from Laura Biagiotti.

A long time ago, when I went on a trip in Italy, I was looking for a gift and I’ve chosen Laura by Laura Biagiotti, because my wife’s name is Laura and the smell fits her very nice.
Last year she return my gift, buying me a Due Uomo by the same house. She knew that I like resinous-herbal-sweet type parfumes and she was no mistake with this. It is such a wonderful fragrance for cold times: it opens with a fresh-sweety smell of lime, patchouli and resin (such a strange & nice combination, b.t.w), then is progressing through earthy-greeny notes of vetiver and sage (about 2-3 hrs) with the musky faints of opoponax still felt, until the sweet basenotes take control of the stage; The final combination of star-anise and incense, with random coconut milk can be a liitle too sweet, but very acceptable. My overall rank: 7.5/10. ☣☣☣
