Description

Calvin Klein is launching a new fragrance for women, Beauty, which arrives on the market in October 2010. The fragrance was created to support Calvin Klein‘s clothes collection, with elegant fragrance composition which does not have plans to be seductive, like for example Euphoria and Obsession.

Elegance, sophistication, timelessness and beauty are in the first plan. The perfume is ideal for mature women who choose models from Calvin Klein collection and enjoy style and spirit of Klein collections. Beauty is a fragrance representing woman in her 40es, her beauty, maturity and self-esteem.

Composition of Beauty was inspired by gracious curves and beauty of calla lily. Beauty depicts internal beauty of a woman, her strength and spirit. The fragrance was created by Sophie Labbe, of such notes as ambrette seed in a top, jasmine in a heart and cedar-base.

The fragrances arrives in highly elegant flacons in three sizes – 30, 50 and 100ml, along with accompanying products – 200 ml perfumed body lotion and 200 ml perfumed bath and shower cream. Advertising campaign was made by Craig McDean in February 2010 in Berlin. Advertising face of the fragrance is Diane Kruger, dressed in a gorgeous elegant white dress which accentuates her femininity and figure in the advertising campaign.

My first expensive perfume and still in love with it!
I feel jasmine and flowers, without being heady and yet not dull or weak.
Sadly I cannot find it anymore in stores…

    This is EXTREME beauty.
Listen to the reviews below me that says you need to spray this modestly to get the full effect. I am a chronic over-sprayer and I was so overwhelmed and grossed out when i first got this.
Fast forward 6 weeks, I was in a hurry so I grabbed this off my shelf…i only had a chance to do 2 spays and OMG…it was the best 2 sprays of my perfume experience haha.
This is incredibly epic and blows every one of my favorite fragrances out of the water. The spices and jasmine is soooo dreamy and romantic, I spent that whole day smelling myself…it is so beautiful, it can bring tears to my eyes. The passion for perfume is still alive!!! YES Beauty is appropriately named.
Just only spray 1 or 2, trust me, it makes a huge difference.

Simply lovely. Stays close to you, but you are aware of it on yourself for a long time. Subtlety beautiful and elegant. The ambrette seed gives it the hint of mystery. I know there is no sandalwood in the composition but I seem to sense a bit of its oiliness (in the best way) somewhere in this.

Not the best jasmine in perfume world.

This is inoffensive perfume. I used this 100 ml bottle already, It is a nice fragrance but not my favorite. I wont repurchase it.

Perfume got on holiday in December 🙂 I have it so far, I have wanted it for a long time, because I liked it very much, it is very strong, maybe I do not feel it anymore, because I got used to the smell, but I often hear eg you have a nice perfume that you use, etc. Maybe not everyone likes his fragrance, because
it is very expressive and I would say that it can irritate. However, I love such fragrances. One of my favorite perfumes! I recommend.

Classic, simple, ordinary, plain, not risky, jasmine flower scent. Just like, because bottle is too heavy, not well designed, hard to spray=100 ml. I heard it on lots of women or it was dupe version=perceive from avon. X] if u find it so expensive use dupe= perceive avon.

While I do like this one, at times the jasmine becomes very urine-y on my skin and I can’t wear it. I think due to certain weather. Maybe it has been too humid, it is summer here and we are having very hot weather. Weird.

I was given this perfume for my high school graduation. I was 18 at the time and I truly loved the scent, very flowery and long lasting! It really made me feel like a “BEAUTY” . Now that I’m 25 I smelled it again and I think that it’s too strong for me! Lol it still a good scent and I do recommend.

Sweet floral, pleasant, light. Inoffensive. Casual. Lily?

Pure jasmine.. Heavy at first, but its dry down is soft and smooth. Amazing one if you prefer floral notes.

While I strongly like a lot of perfumes on first spray, I rarely LOVE them. I love Beauty! It’s been on my blind buy list for a long time and I finally got it today. My favorite is the opening, which smells like honeysuckle to me but I also like the drydown. Cedar can go very wrong on me – it can go sour or completely overwhelm me, but this works wonderfully well here. It never goes sour or too cedary in the drydown. It just gradually gets a little deeper and darker and fades away.
I am pretty sure this perfume can be worn anywhere. Nothing is harsh or hard to wear. The jasmine goes through a stage where it gets creamy and almost tropical on me, which was an unexpected delight. Highly recommended for an easy to wear, gorgeous perfume.

This perfume surely lives up to its name. I first tried CK’s Sheer Beauty, and after falling head-over-heels in love with that incredible fragrance, I decided I had to try this one. I am overwhelmed by its beauty, from the first spritz until it fades to a skin scent after about two hours on my skin. I see the notes listed there, but my nose is not picking up anything specific…just the most lush, soft, gorgeous flowers on a fresh, crisp Spring day. This is one solution to a long and difficult day. Remember, those of you who are old enough to have seen the commercials in the 80’s for Calgon bath salts…every commercial was a woman in the middle of a busy, tiring day picturing in her mind the way she plans to regain her sanity…with a luxurious, solitary bath, away from her kids and in the privacy and quiet of her bathtub, loaded with Calgon, of course. At some point in every commercial she would cry out “Calgon, take me away! When I spray this intoxicating juice on, immediately I am catapulted in my mind to my safe and comfortable place. I can hear the birdsong and I am surrounded by greenery. I am leisurely walking around in a garden labyrinth filled with neatly trimmed hedges. I am purposely lost- so I can enjoy this fragrance and the silence to the full. This fragrance seems to be the floral wreath I’m wearing on my head. Luscious flowers, with the slightly detectable woods hiding, as if the wreath was constructed from the flowers onto a wooden wreath. I would highly recommend this beauty to anyone who loves a truly floral perfume. It is a heavy hitter on the flower radar, but that is exactly what I love about it. This one is definitely a keeper!

Here’s the deal. I have reviewed this twice already, but the reason I’m back for more is because this is the one fragrance that guarantees compliments every single time.
Women love it, men love it, and I love it. It’s uncanny.
“Beauty” isn’t my most expensive perfume or even my favourite, but this woody-floral-musky hybrid is divine and forever cemented its place in my heart. The jasmine is indulgent and the cedar offers warm, woody notes as well as light, fresh florals.
One whiff of this and people go nuts.

  16. :

Well, I tried to reach Coty and resolve the issue but they were oddly and surprisingly unresponsive.
The fact is the original design has a more intense and potent scent, which makes it a perfume.
I returned the bottle without the chrome finish and got the original from a reputable source, the scent was stronger, deeper and long lasting.
my conclusion is to seek the original design to get the original scent, consult before you buy and get it from a dedicated seller and not a mass wholesale, online store.
I would suggest returning any bottle which is not the original design, the reward will be worth your money.
The difference in scent performance, presentation, and silage is quite surprising.

Notes: citrus cocktail, orange blossom, jasmine, neo-lily, cedarwood, ambrette seeds?
    Base notes- Woodsy- Cedar
    Heart notes- Musk- Ambrette Seed
    Top notes- Floral- Jasmine
Love this perfume, very versatile, unisex, it’s strong yet delicate. Love the jasmine and ambrette dancing around the cedarwood. Very woody, musky, sweet floral, it’s pleasant, one falls in love with this scent’s personality easily.
Comforting, homely, woods, white walls, flowers, white linens, spiritual. A home in the cedar wood forests, a hug, a warm embrace, the scent of a man, musk. Sweet white flowers, sweetness, joy, love, spirit, gardens.

  19. :

    5 out of 5

So this is not fruity, not gourmand, this is not a fat, heavy scent. I’m not sure why the negativity, when I smell a jasmine flower, I perceive a clean, strong, white scent. Its simple but oh so good, I’m pretty sure the musk helps it bloom well. I dont see other fragrances this direct, to the point and simple.
I think many don’t like it, due to this directness. Jasmines are simple, direct, pure flowers, with lots of character, and white boldness. Its less expensive than many running up similar like Alien, so why not appreciate it. Simplicity can be amazingly elegant, minimalism and discretion both reaching perfect virtues.
So this is not for those who like complex scents, its more like simple jasmine tea with a small touch and some depth, rather than an over the top, overdressed, overstuffed, mixed, shake, if you get me. I recommend smelling a common, real, arabian/sambac jasmine, the appreciation will be true..
I think its very masculine, clean, bold, I think women do not like the masculine nature of the notes.
Called Coty, there are some bottles around without the chrome finish, it seems for now, these maybe counterfeit. I will post an update soon. The scent is very dim and not effective for an EDP. Amazon UK and other websites testify to the fact, buyers beware.

Very casual, laid back, blues jeans and a white t-shirt kind of scent. All the descriptions everyone has said, is pretty dead on. Kinda boring in a fresh way. I bought it blind, on clearance at Tjmaxx, so my expectations were nil.
It instantly reminded me of something I use to have but wasn’t crazy about, then it dawned on me. It smells like Febreeze original with just a touch more wood. Not bad, I like it, but it won’t be a daily wearer.

Simple feminine perfume. Would wear this daily after shower.

I dont know how to say about this perfume. But let’s be honest. This perfume i mean the scent really not my type at all. Too feminime and too stronb. But the sillage is very good. The longevity is quite good as well. Im not floral scent person. This perfume was a gift from my mother. So i think for those who like feminime, floral scent and can be wear both day and night this perfume is the one.

3 notes & you get a creamy, musky, jasmine filled aroma❤️
The name of this perfume is spot on !
    ‘Beauty’ at its finest.
CK nailed it this time, I have eternity, obsession & this gem.
Out of the 3 beauty is my favourite.
Smells very mature, creamy & musky at the same time.
I’m not good at detecting jasmine in fragrances BUT THIS, I can smell it all along, it’s so beautiful!!
Very feminine & definitely worth a buy 🙂
    Longevity: 5-6 hours.
Best used it spring / warm climates.

I dont agree with Beauty being addressed to women in their 40s. Im 30 years old and (still feel like 25:) and I think it’s fitting for every age of women. Especially the ones in their 20s! <3 love love this, it’s creamy and slightly soapy and clean smelling. My bf loved it saying it is charming.

I bought this blind, 100ml EDP for a snip. Given the mixed reviews I was unsure about this fragrance but I really like it. I don’t love it, but it speaks to a part of me that wants to smell timeless. Fresh from the bottle this perfume seemed familiar, I was sure I had smelt it somewhere before and several hours after first applying I realise that Beauty reminds me of those scented pages you get in thick magazines which are supposed to smell of a particular perfume but all end up with one homogenous smell.
I can detect white flowers and soft woods and also something faintly green and fresh. There is a background sweetness, but not sugary, more warm and famililar. It’s a comforting fragrance and very wearable. I normally wear dry, astringent but complex chypres and I like Beauty because of its simple, clean composition. The box and bottle are gorgeous too! Simple, elegant and stylish.
I wouldn’t call this one “pretty”, it’s more sophisticated than that. Wearable, safe & agreeable are what I think of when wearing this. There’s definitely room in my collection for this unassuming scent!

Beauty was once upon a time my favorite scent. I recently bought another bottle. It is pretty white flower inoffensive scent, suitable for work but it lacks X factor. Classy and elegant but I miss some warmth.

This scent is just too strong for me and there’s nothing special about it It’s plain strong. That’s just not my type. Nothing so extraordinary about it. It’s just okay. Some perfume are not strong but they make a very noticeable scent but this one… meh. You know those perfume that smells like your grandma… this is one of them. That’s just my opinion. It’s still classy though, it doesnt smell like a cheap chic but it smells toooooo mature for my liking.

Recieved this today. This is an instant “LIKE” for me.
A standard floral with a touch of cedar…not remarkable, but very calming and safe. I just got a 1 oz spray…so…that will be enough for me. Easy going scent…safe…good for everyday…

Well fancy that I do like a perfume with cedar. This is lovely nice clean and safe smelling, a good office friendly scent. I’m really amazed that a perfume containing so few scents can feel so well rounded. No linear juice here.

II just bought this after a debate about which fall fragrance to buy…and this wasn’t even in my choices list lol. This ius very elegant and understated yet pretty. I swear I smell sandalwood instead of cedar. Could be unisex but is not masculine or cologne like. Anyway I decided this fits what I’m looking for in a fall scent, woody, floral ambrett( resin). I get yellow and white flowers for most of the wearing with woody undertones toward the end. I do like a lot of CKs fragrances. Some of the reviews say it smells synthetic but not on me. Yay! I needed a wearable fall scent.
I think this would be lovely to mix with rose or vanilla also. Maybe Vega Wants Vanilla Rose perfume

Well done, CK. The branding, packaging, marketing and actual scent of Beauty are SEAMLESSLY done. It is all round understated, modern, effortless beauty. Beauty that doesn’t need to try too hard, or do too much.
The scent itself – a clean, simple jasmine sitting on the creamy, aromatic smoothness of ambrette. It floats around you like a veil. It’s really soft but also quite tenacious, it maintains its modest sillage for a solid 6 hours. I get no cedar at all – there is no sharpness; it is instead very ’round’ in its texture, there are no edges.
Some fragrances are like a hug. This is like those delicate “non-kisses” that ladies give each other, that gentle touching the cheeks together and saying ‘mwah’. Just delicate and ladylike. Some fragrances are like red lipstick. This is like clear lipgloss.
    PERFECT for effortless, everyday beauty.

Good floral scent but forgettable. Projection and longevity are not so good. It’s a versatile fragrance so you can’t go wrong with this one.

    3 out of 5

I bought this for my wife, as we both are big fans of jasmine and cedar – but she was very “meh” about it, so I’m keeping it for myself – jasmine, cedar and ambrette? Only three of my favorite smells/notes – yes please 🙂

  34. :

    5 out of 5

Beautiful in the bottle and I liked it on the paper strip, so I’ll still recommend it to others, but they should of course test it to see if it goes with their skin chemistry.
I don’t know if it’s the pepper note which lingered on and on, on my skin that was too heavy in a wrong way (I’m not afraid of statement fragrances!) or if it’s the combination of pepper and cedar that doesn’t favor my chemistry. So I’m glad I chose to test before buying or putting it on a wish list. I really wanted this to work.

  35. :

Fresh, light, medium sweet, happy scent, like sunny, warm, but not too hot day. Beautiful uncomplicated jasmin. I would love it more if it had more lasting power. You can spray a lot.

  36. :

    3 out of 5

Not my type, it does not last too long on skin, light, too light for me.
Beautiful commercial, but it is barely there, too delicate for me, after an hour it’s gone. Not much develops in this scent. Between fresh and floral.
I blind bought it in sephora store, 50ml, but it was a mistake done in 2011.
Perhaps fans of this scent will be ladies who would like to wear Noa Carachel. This is not my style.

  37. :

    5 out of 5

    very natural jasmine scent
    not very overwhelming
not too much jasmine so it is not that predictable jasmine scent as everyone could foresee
i love everything about this scent
but the lasting power is too poor
only lasts about 10 minutes on my skin
maybe it’s because of the summer
will try it later in winter
anyway, a dislike because of the lasting power
as weak as an eau de eau de cologne

  38. :

    5 out of 5

this has been my signature for the past two years and i am actualy happy that not alot of people use it :p this is just the perfect exemple of the saying less is more the jasmine here is exellent quality and the combinaison of ambrette and cedar gives this perfume a sparkling and refreshing effect, once i tried this jasmine i just couldn’t go back to wear any generic jasmine this perfume just elevated my nose and my taste in white florals, i tried still by jennifer lopez after i wore this for a year and i could imediatly notice the difference in the quality of jasmine. this scent is for the descrete woman who is confident that she is beautiful and preserves her beauty just for an exclusive man who will have the permission to come close enough to smell her neck.
The bottle the name and the color of the juice reflect exactly the scent :
    yellow for natural sunshine
    metalic edges for modern
and the name beauty and the round shape for feminine beauty
it is extremly cheep and it makes me extremly happy and sad at the same time because people just don’t apreaciate simplicity anymore.
    got compliments on this
sillage is moderate and it stays close to the skin after 3 hours.

This is a timeless, classic, best smelling jasmine scent; ever. I love it!! The jasmine is well balanced with the cedar and ambrette, so you don’t smell too much of anything. The jasmine is really beautiful and lightly enhanced by the other notes. It is a sleeper hit for me!

Sbelle hit the nail on the head: It is safe. Safe for me means boring most of the time, but there is a place for these kind of safe juices in my life as well. Doesn’t quite fit to my personality, which is more out there and flamboyant, and disappoints me a bit, because Calvin Klein came up with Obsession and Euphoria, two fragrances that I adore, and this is just so blah. Nothing to rave about for me.

Just blind purchased this lovely scent today at Marshall’s. I have been actively trying to expand my perfumes horizons to the white florals family only to be overwhelmed by their headines. But I was determined to stay in the hunt because just the meir thought of wearing a beautiful feminine jasmine, magnolia, or gardenia during the height of a steamy hot summer night all while retaining a casual sensual coolness was a perfume fantasy I was not willing to give up on! And then I stumbled on to CK Beauty. I orinally chose it for the ambrette note, oddly enough I didn’t even pay attention the additional notes, which are listed as jasmine & cedar. And to my good fortune the jasmine adds a gentle feminine facet and is perfectly proportioned with the amberette and cedar, giving this scent nothing less than a classic casual elegance that is suitable for any age or occasion. A Warm, yet Fresh, slightly sweet, & cozy musky floral that is seamlessly blended and will elevate your mood as well as those in your company. So happy to have this in my collection! Will update on the longevity and scent progression as I’m only two hours in, but so far I’m loving it!
Update: Sillage & longevity are moderate (5-6 hours). Progression is fairly linear, becomes a softer version of herself before fading away. There’s no lingering morning after scent left on my skin when I wake up, but for the amount of time that it does last it makes me very happy. And for $20 it’s a good value, I would purchase again.

It´s a warm scent of Jasmine. It´s very nice and comfortable. It´s classic, and sophisticated. I found this to be most appealing. I like gentle floral scents, and Beauty is perfect for me in that respect. I am one of those people that get headaches from spicier perfumes, and some fragrances on me seem to fade fast. Beauty lasts all day and smells lovely. It’s light enough to be worn in every setting, in the daytime and at night.

At first, Beauty reminded me of baby products: baby wipes, diapers, and toys. I think it morphs into something more mature with the weather. It was my sole perfume during a visit to San Francisco, and the foggy sea breeze brought out the soft floral woodsy notes. I am happy to say I love it now, but it took a while to adapt to this one. I am happy to have this in my collection.

  44. :

    3 out of 5

There’s a peripherally carnal warmth to “Beauty” that peeks in and out, a sort of radiant solar musk swirling off sun-kissed skin but specifically with a morning-sun-on-skin feel to it.
It’s almost sebum-like and waxy but like your own body has produced this glorious, golden musk and it just naturally radiates out of your pores. This is very subtle so don’t be put off by my talk of body odor. Think of it more like the the kind of ethereal body odor Galadriel from “The Lord of The Rings” would have.
This radiant warmth is contrasted against a white floral blend that’s so perfect, it would otherwise be almost like a marble sculpture version of a lily arrangement in a medieval church, without that kick of down to earth musk opening it up and remaining until drydown. It’s like a marble statue come to life and is walking through a Casper David Friedrich painting. It’s like a plot of potent, stargazer lilies are growing on the other side of your property and every so often, a breeze of liliness gently blows across you, like a distant gauze of lily. But it’s distant enough to never prompt one sneeze in lily sensitive friends.
“Beauty” is right. What an accurate moniker for this well blended and balanced, warm white floral. This is like a celebrated, once in a generation beauty that’s also sexy and accessible, warm and laid back, which great beauty rarely is. It hits a lot of bases for those who want elegant but not frigid, pretty but not childish. It’s a scent for a grown-up, natural beauty who never goes out of style.
I’m going to find it hard to return to anything else because the confidence and comfort this scent gives me is a rarity, in and of itself. This level of persistent elegance usually comes with massive sillage and high formality. “Beauty” would be the most beautiful thing in the room, anywhere and for any occasion, even in jeans.

    Good projection.
    Makes a statement.

I first smelled Beauty on my aunt, who just radiates sunshine and chill on a daily basis. She’s so laid back, yet nurturing and easygoing. I couldn’t get over how good her perfume smelled, and it would always transfer on to the hair/heads of her small babies! And they always smell so good. I am certain this will be their “comfort” smell when they grow up. Everyone loves the smell of their mom’s perfumes from childhood, I think. They bring a sense of familiarity and warmth.
Beauty is just that- it’s warmth and femininity, casual approachability with just the right amount of sophistication. It’s not toooooo spicy or animalic, keeping it from being an overly refined or sharp “sexual” scent. It stays in the mellow, soft, romantic zone.
I get very musky warm notes that are unspiced. I find warm and spice can be synonymous in the perfume world, so when I find a fragrance that is soapy/floral and warm at the same time, I am thrilled.
Jasmine is very noticeable. Longevity and sillage are very high, especially when spritzed into the hair.
I would recommend this perfume to just about any woman, of any age, of any personality. It is just such a pretty smell.

I use to wear Mary Kay Elige a lot and it had been discontinued years back which made me so sad. The dated discontinued bottles can still be found on ebay but the notes on any I have tried had already turned and smells stale (now that’s the ones I’ve purchased and tried). I found this CK Beauty and I racked my brain trying to remember where I smelled this gorgeous smell before! After I got it home I remembered Elige…it smells like Elige! I let my daughters smell it and they said the same thing without me saying a word of what it reminded me of. If you loved Mary Kay Elige and miss it…this is close enough. I love Beauty by Calvin Klein!

  50. :

    3 out of 5

I recently purchased this perfume for myself, but wore it briefly, since my mom instantly fell in love with it.
Based on the description, Beauty appears to be a simple scent, but to me it smells much more complex. In fact I think it is so well blended that I find it hard to individually detect any of the notes listed, especially cedarwood, which I was very much looking forward to.
Though directed towards a mature audience, I believe Beauty could be worn any time, by any age. It is a modern statement scent, which stays mellow throughout the day. I would not necessarily put that in my list of crispy “clean” perfumes, and I think the hint of musk is the one to blame.
Sillage is not impressive, but I found it lasts a long time on the skin, making it a safe choice for the warmer months and crowded places.
If you are a fan of CK perfumes, you will not be disappointed.

  51. :

    4 out of 5

I chose Beauty for the simplicity of ingredients and reviews claiming it is warm and creamy. Maybe it is my chemistry or perhaps jasmine is not for me, but I do not detect any warmth or creaminess about this. It opens with a strong chemical smell that is gone in a minute followed by a cold, white floral that stays linear and mostly woody with a hint of sweetness. I am trying it during a March New England snow storm, so perhaps it will act different come summer.
This smells like… perfume (duh, right?), but by that I mean it gives me a manufactured feel more than it does a scent. I love perfumes that make me forget they are perfumes and are, instead, something I might have brushed up against or handled which left a lingering scent.
Projection: polite and within your personal bubble with one spray
    Longevity: 5+
Wear: any age, spring/summer, day, office okay with a light hand

Beautiful jasmine scent. A little woody too. Rather sweet but in a very pleasant way. Warm. Simple, pretty and elegant.

Citrusy opening quickly gives way to a musky jasmine. I was worried about the cedar taking over, but it’s very subtle. Smells ‘classic’. Lasts a long time on the skin. A nice choice when you want to smell clean and feminine. Good for any age, not just over 40. Would smell lovely on a bride. Reminds me of a lighter version of Michael by Michael Kors.

I agree with many others; this fragrance could be worn by women of any age. The jasmine is straightforward and pretty. There are no “difficult” notes like civet or oak moss to make Beauty overly sexual and it remains sufficiently casual, keeping it from being too mature. I see this as a solid, inexpensive option for young women looking to expand beyond the fruity-floral/gourmands dominating that demographic. For women 40+ like myself, I think it’s a great, everyday, office-appropriate option. It’s inoffensive and sillage is moderate at most. Beauty does stay rather linear on my skin but that’s OK. Not everything has to be a complex masterpiece for me to enjoy it. 8/10 overall.

Fresh, girly, I agree with other comments, it s not only for 40+ women, it goes great with all ages. Creamy, fresh, lifts your mood. I feel the notes are carefully created.

Another clean floral fragrance, maybe a little heavier on the soapy side, but it’s cute and suits well the work/office atmosphere. I remember from some time ago it had kind of a sweet undertone, that’s why it was on my wishlist, but now I don’t think it’s that special.

Very nice and safe. I wear it when I don’t want to make a particular statement with my fragrance. The bottle is beautiful. My favorite of the calvin klein scents I’ve tried so far.

JoRa: It must be your chemistry…. Jasmin Noir did that on me I was soooo sad bc it is so delicious on other people and also smelling it right out of the bottle but on my skin it was BO yuck! I was gutted. This one though works so nicely on me! Gl

just read that the reviewer before me also stated that the perfume links to her mother. It’s amazing how your mother or a loved ones fragrance can affect you…

I love beauty. This fragrance is a very clean, woody, musky scent. This fragrance holds sentimental value for me. Not because it is an extraordinary fragrance, but because this fragrance reminds me of my mother. For awhile it was her go-to scent for daily wear and every time i smelt it on someone i just remember her. i ended up purchasing a bottle on christmas and use it on days that i miss her or want to feel closer to her.❤️❤️❤️

I simply just LOVE this. This was the last new perfume my mother had as signature before she passed so it remind me of her in a wonderful way. My youngest sister then took over the bottle and it now also reminds me of her. Of some reason I don’t understand I always thought it didn’t work on me, but it def does! It smell just as it does on the paper 🙂 I cannot really put my finger on it it’s soft, warm and light with the smallest hint of spiciness like cinnamon meets vanilla. It also has a freshness, slightly soapy. But most of all it makes me feel safe and puts a smile on my face, could sniff this all day 🙂

Yes, I adopt Beauty is elegant, but it’s clean, ordinary, simple during all the time & moderate sillage. Has some heaviness in the face of jasmine & ambrette, which I can’t stand for. I wore it for one winter month. Office scent, something from 90s. Nothing special.

Beauty smells like field of flowers. I imagine a young girl in a white eyelet dress walking through this field. This would make a good starter perfume. It is simple and pretty. Beauty is a true American BEAUTY.

Defo an underrated perfume. It’s, clean, classic, feminine, floral, subtlety sexy but rememorable. One word-timeless. Smells quite luxurious also kind of fresh out of bath scent after using all your creamy products. A very classy perfume for a classy lady. What’s great about this s, it’s ideal wheather you are in your twenties or fifty s. would make the ideal, ultimate wedding day scent for any bride.

Am I the first reviewer who actually dislikes this? I liked Beauty on a test strip, but when I sprayed it on my wrist, it quickly turned into something really unpleasant. In short, it stinks. I just cannot pick anything clean out of it, to me it is very much a dirty, BO smell, or “sexy” but not in a good way.
I think it must be the ambrette seeds, or just the combination of all the three notes, as I usually do like jasmine. Somehow this just simply smells bad to my nose, cannot help it. And it’s not just my skin that creates this unpleasantness, it smells equally bad on my winter coat onto which it now seems to have glued itself for ever. Damn! But good for those who like it: projection and longevity won’t disappoint, I can tell you. I also get quite a strong 90’s vibe from it.
    I was almost going to blind-buy a bottle a while ago, so I’m really glad I didn’t.

Lovely clean elegant florals! Creamy perfect white boquet! Such a beautiful fume! It’s very wearable at any age I see it’s marketed towards the 40age group but I’m in love and 29! Easy modern and chic! Lasting power is great on me 7hrs+ silage is arms length it’s enough so people who hug you or talk to you in close proximity are aware of the creamy yummy floral delight!

It is clean and fresh and inoffensive.
Smells primarily of a true jasmine, but I find it lacks something.<b
