Aqua Celestia Forte is a newer version of Aqua Celestia from 2017.

The fragrance has a musky, floral and citrus accords.
Top Notes: Lime from Mexico, Cool Mint (Mitcham), Petitgrain Bigarade
Heart Notes: Blackcurrant bud absolute from Burgundy, Mimosa absolute from Provence, Jasmine absolute from Egypt
Base Notes: Musks

PThis has a clean, floral vibe to it. The jasmine and musk are noticeable from the start, definitely more floral than citrusy. However, it gets more citrusy in the later stages, which is unusual. Longevity is excellent. I found it way too feminine and gave it to my wife instead. I don’t know how this can pass for unisex, I think monsieuer Kurkdjian pushes the boundaries with the unisex label, this, Silk Mood, and a few others are totally feminine imo.

Certainly when a space is uncluttered and clean, free from all excess and extravagance, one is more easily able to draw the mind inward and meditate. There is a serenity derived from this simplicity. In structuring the composition of ‘Aqua Celestia forte’, Mr. Kurkdjian appears to have pulled from this ideal and taken a streamlined approach to his creation. The basic elements of the original are all still present, yet are fairly more pronounced due to the higher concentration (now an “eau de parfum”). Mexican lime, Mitcham mint, French blackcurrant bud absolute, Provencial mimosa absolute, and a volatile musk accord intermingle to create a breathtaking scent. Deftly added are two complimentary, and yet not overpowering, notes to this “forte” reformulation. Italian petitgrain bigarade with its herbaceous and dry/bitter citrus qualities merrys well with the intense lime of the opening. Upon first spraying ‘Aqua Celestia forte’ the wearer can initially appreciate this additional ingredient as it imparts an intense green and briskness which is absent from its forebearer. In the mid-range, the second newly added note of Egyptian jasmine is perceptible combining with the delicate mimosa and blackcurrant bud absolute. Jasmine’s indolic qualities are somewhat hidden due to the more prominent citrus accord, yet faint nuances of the delicate white blossom’s sweet floralcy are present. The typical sexy and animalic characteristics of jasmine are tamed down, leaving behind a subtle creamy/floral quality which fits quite nicely in this introspective fragrance.
‘Aqua Celestia forte’ mirrors very closely to the original “eau de toilette” version. The two newly added notes are subtle, and likely not perceivable to the untrained nose. Their addition does however render a more sophisticated presence to the composition, one which feels richer and more robust. The higher perfume concentration is much more obvious as the projection, longevity and sillage are all amplified. ‘Aqua Celestia forte’, much like its predecessor, is an incredible warm weather scent. It will withstand the harshest of summer’s heat and humidity, all while creating an irresistible cooling effect upon the wearer. Both men and women can enjoy wearing this unisex scent, though its somewhat sweet undercurrent may be a detractor for some men. Overall, ‘Aqua Celestia forte’ is an adequate revisiting of last year’s ‘Aqua Celestia’ from Maison Francis Kurkdjian even if it doesn’t stray far from its family roots.

Wow! This is very impressive, i received a 10ml decant, sprayed 1 spray on the back of my hand, and it was LOVE at 1rst sniff, and it only gets better in the drydown! I’ve found my new go to summer scent along with Aqua Vitae Forte, they’re both stunning! 9/10 with good longevity and more than decent projection…

Such a beautiful scent! In my opinion the Forte is more suited for me, where I found the original Aqua Celestia fit better on my wife. They both could be unisex I suppose but that’s just my take on it. This one feels like the men’s version. Very very nice, and for a fresh scent it’s very strong and lasts a long time!

Luxuriously clean. Francis Kurkdjian has a unique ability to create expensively smelling everyday scents. If clean synthetic musks smell good on you, look no further. Excellent quality that lasts for hours.

On freshly showered and moisturised skin my longevity is about five hours but I can understand how others note a rapid evaporation rate since only the nondescript musks remain. Despite the strong initial burst of citrus this reminded me later as it sweetened on the skin of a virgin blackcurrant mojito. I just wish that those nuances stuck around a bit longer.

I own the EDT, & amazingly enough it performs quite well. So I surely thought this would be a very good “Intense” version.
I sampled this today & it was a good & poor experience. The smell off the top is certainly intensified with a big gorgeous punch of lime & mint, but I couldn’t believe that 2 hrs later that gorgeous scent was gone & I mean totally.
My EDT lasts all day & projects all day, so how is the EDP gone in 2 hrs?
I love Kurkdjian & this is an improvement in scent, but it appears that performance is an epic fail for this one. I will certainly try again however hoping I’m wrong.

Has original Celestia’s DNA but the opening is a lot more citrusy . It is bolder at first but very short lived. 2 hours later barely there close to the skin. Sadly.
