Like most scents from this house I’ve tried, APOM is simple and intriguing at the same time – just three carefully selected notes done very well, artfully stripped of any superfluous fuss. In that regard it’s certainly modern, but otherwise it’s of an oldfashioned high quality: a very rich, elegant, feminine scent, strong and dense, a little heady with the ylang ylang.
The very opening was surprisingly nostalgic for me; everyone else is mentioning citrus, so I guess my sample must have gone off just a little, because what I got was a pleasantly musty scent that transported me right back to art classes in primary school, an impression of old paint and art supplies and dusty pencil shavings. Weird, but a nice little flashback that disappears quite soon. And then it first settles down into the good kind of soapy, super clean in a luxurious way, before it becomes more powdery, with those beautifully dense or even syrupy florals blooming all the way through.
It’s not a light scent by any means, but I believe the reviewer below who says it’s best in the heat of summer: it’s good now, but I’ll keep my sample to try it on a really hot day as well, when I think it’ll bloom even more.

I bought the entire sample set from MFK site. I wore it today, I get way too much of ylang ylang on this after 2 hrs. It sticks on clothes for more than 24+ hrs, one spray on my shirt from a sample vial.
Do I like this? Nope. I think Aqua Vitae Forte is a better version of Ylang Ylang. Not a fan of both anyway.
My Fav from this house is Aqua Universalis Forte and Grand Soir.

I’m only getting the soapy orange blossom. Where is the ylang-ylang?

Just had to come back and do justice to this wonderful fragrance.
I first acquired it via a swap when I was living in the UK, where the weather is always cool and there’s no real summer. I wasn’t overly impressed by APOM Femme, it felt a bit harsh, citric and redundant for my wardrobe. I simply couldn’t find an appropriate occasion to wear it.
Fast forward to now, when I reside in the hot and dry Arizona. The frag has bloomed, it smells so sunny, ethereal and happy. I can smell some citrus but it’s not sour, it’s sweet and yummy. Orange blossom is also there along with woody notes that are feminine, nothing harsh or synthetic here.
Very glad to have rediscovered it.

This perfume is incredibly ENJOYABLE. Emphasis on enjoyable. Someone wrote below that is a perfume which can change your mood at first sniff. I totally agree. I am wearing my sample the second time and smelling it just makes me happy. Smells summery, but in a mature kind of way. To my skin it smells powdery and flowery,i love it…makes me think of a sun tanned skin smell somewhere in the Carribeans. I also agree with the comments below that this is suitable for a more mature woman. I dont see a teenager wearing this. I see a 30+ woman, that wears this to her business meetings. I am happy that after my dissapointment with Baccarat Rouge which i cannot stand, i found something from MK that i am happy to buy!

I get is a soapy plasticky orange blossom and it reminds me so much of the smell of orange coloured bath pearls I used to love as a kid! More specifically the plastic wrap after I burst them in my hands!
It’s a pleasant smell and I appreciate the unexpected trip down memory lane. However I can’t help but feel it smells a little cheap, especially considering the hefty price tag that it comes with. It’s a pass for me, but I’ll keep my sample for when I’m feeling a bit nostalgic.

Nectar and ambrosia for my mind. Can not imagine better floral for spring-time, that would be easy to wear yet with wow-factor. It is like weightless sunshine rays, but the presence is so obvious – sensual, soft, friendly, classy. Like some reviewers keep saying – heavenly.

I’ve been in an orange blossom mood lately and have been trying a lot from different houses. The thing that first struck me about APOM is that I don’t smell orange blossom in it at all, just orange, which was disappointing.
It’s certainly a very smooth fragrance–so smooth that it has no character at all. The word that popped into my mind is “safe.” It’s a safe perfume, one that probably won’t offend anyone. And, sadly, I find it quite dull. (Disclaimer: I gravitate toward rich old-school florientals, so it’s entirely possible that APOM is too modern for me to recognize its charms.)

Loved this the first time I smelled it but now all I’m getting is generic fruity-floral hair product scent. Maybe the sample has gone off. Will attempt to procure a new one and re-write this review if necessary.

I have a love/hate relationship to this fragrance. I can’t stand the first 40-60 minutes, because it’s so strong and smells like hairspray, but if I spray on the inside of my elbow and put a sweater on I get this lovely clean, feminine and uplifting scent. If This fragrance didn’t have that brutal opening I would without a doubt be reaching for it much more often. I love it on distance, can’t take it up close. Truth be told there is a lot of scents that is of putting to me, so don’t take my word for it.
As far as performance goes, this last all day! And my skin drinks up perfume lake nothing else. I can stil smell this fragrance after 8 hours with sillage. (BTW I only spray once).

Totally elegant and feminine scent! I imagine woman in a elegant suit wearing this fragrance. Its not for young girls. Its for woman who already knows who she is and what she doing in life. Also appropriate for evening, wearing beautiful gown and surrounded by this perfume. All in all beautiful, timeless, classy fragrance.

This is Kurkdjian’s ‘yellow’ fragrance. Basically it’s a soapy clean but sweet ylang ylang, front and centre, surrounded by some faint orange blossom and woody notes, and that’s it. It’s not my cup of tea, but those ladies who love yellow florals will certainly enjoy it.

Oh my goodness! This was a blind buy for me, and I must say that this blew my mind. Sadly not in a good way. I was expecting a soft and creamy floral and got this soapy old lady’s perfume punching me right in the face. The first hour this scent is so strong that I can barely take it. It reminds me very much of my mothers old perfume bottles that she cept for way too many years and it smells like a concentrated hand soap/ fabric softener. I can only enjoy this fragrance thru my clothes and far from my face. This is a VERY clean and a bit old fashioned scent. Smells a bit like SPF lotion from the eighties. I will give it a few more days to see if this is one of those that I learn to love but I have my doubts. On the positive side (if you like the scent), this fragrance probably last forever and has a great sillage.

To me it smells like sweet sweet candy which has stayed a bit in the sun. Also has something animalic. Too sweet and too feminine for me. However, I’m still waiting for that cedar to kick in.
    More suitable for colder weather.
    P. S. Applause for only three notes but for the complex structure.

This is delicious. I used two samples before I caved in and purchased the whole bottle. Somehow this reminds me of an exotic orange dessert. Love it so much and it lasts.

I am absolutely in love with this perfume. I don’t think I can explain it correctly, the amazing orange flower how effervescent yet suttle and so sexy. I bought the body cream to layer and I am in heaven. There is something so unique about this perfume. It is so gorgeous!

A reviewer mentioned that APOM had a vitamin chalky feel – I agree, it smells a bit like the way a vitamin would taste.
Still I find this enjoyable. I am not a huge lover of yellow florals but this one is pleasant and I’ve worn it maybe 10x now. It has excellent lasting power and moderate sillage.
I was not blown away when I first smelled APOM even though I find most MFK fragrances divine. Nothing about this fragrance is surprising but the fragrance is very smooth. If you love yellow florals this is definitely a solid one but otherwise I would try a sample first as to me this is just OK.

  18. :

    5 out of 5

The florals is this are very clean and bright, without any animalic suggestion. The cedar and musky drydown is also breezy and light.
However, this is fairly expensive and I cannot smell the quality of raw ingredients nor is it an original composition. It is not bad, but I don’t see why it is priced way above department store average scents as it does not smell superior to me.
To be honest, I was very disappointed with this. I’ve tried it four times and it comes in as a bit synthetic, too light and very boring every time.

I tried this beauty on last night and am in love. I could still smell it on my wrist this morning. Orange blossom and ylang ylang, how uplifting and sexy at the same time. Not getting the cedar at all on my skin. So sweet, warm, delicate, personal, how can I own a bottle of this as soon as possible? Could replace half of my collection with this one bottle and be happy, I think…

APOM Pour Femme is a beautiful sweet, woody floral; really really gorgeous!! A delicate, very feminine and classy perfume, which is fresh and uplifting. Beautiful!!

BEAUTIFUL!!! Oh it’s so gorgeous!!! I’m in love!!! The most wonderful orange blossom, yang-ylang and cedar combination! Such a gorgeous smell!!! So sparkling and sweet and delicate and mesmerising! Completely feminine and elegant. So attractive and pretty, and fresh. And such a lovely sweet, honey type of freshness. It’s terribly beautiful!!! And it has terrific staying power, and carries delightfully, wafting around me and entrancing everyone who is near me. Everyone loves it. I adore it!!!!! It’s warm and sensual, light and alluring, and just PERFECT!!!

Interesting that Fragrantica classifies APOM as a floral. I would call it more woodsy, as the cedar and spices stand out to me the most. I do get the orange blossom and ylang-ylang, but feel that they take a back seat.
I do think this fragrance of Mr. Kurkdjian projects the spirit and scents of the Lebanese region which he intended, which is what makes APOM so amazing. This is a very sensual and lovely perfume, and I would like to own a full bottle at some point.

    I think it is lovely
.It is wonderful and clean smell,
It is floral and much better than the other perfumes

    this is amazing
one of the best maison kurkdjian’s feminine fragrances,of course it’s expensive but for me it’s costworthy, imagine the prettiest combination of orangeflower and ylangylang,it’s rich, feminine, elegant, warm yet fresh,ladylike,sensual..Love at first sniff,I can smell ylangylang and orangeflower in their most gorgeous face, there is honeylike sweetness in the base with a hint of citrus, bright and opulent.wow
but to be honest I’m worried about third note listed here,cedar..I’m waiting anxiously for it to show up and ruin this lovely scent for me..I can already smell it faintly in the background..thanks god it never becomes dominant in the rough masculine way it often tends to be on me,ofcourse there is a deep woodsy base here but in the softest way, anchoring florals and balancing their sweetness without ruining it’s feminity
apom is simple yet unique,it has all lovely qualities I look for in a feminine fragrance,I find it even great as a wedding perfume..I welcome it happily to my wishlist
it’s longlasting on me,sillage is more than moderate but not that big,it can’t fill a room but is noticeable for others
    ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I feel in this scent the tuberose and the honey. It is quiet ,calm but mature scent.
Similar to Jean Paul Gaultier 🙂

Seemingly simple (only 3 listed ingredients) but don’t be fooled. This is a subtly sexy yet elegant fragrance. Perfect in warm weather, and wearable anywhere, anytime. Strong silage and wears over 12 hours. I never tire of this beauty.

I love “A Part Of Me” Pour Femme.
Beautiful, feminine, elegant, sensual orange blossoms. Conjures the image of steamy summer nights, the beach under a full moon.
It starts with citrus and a little bit of orange blossoms.
On my skin, orange blossoms begins to grow and smells like fresh, radiant, rich orange blossoms with waxy petals with honey undertone.
I feel weak in the knees as I wear APOM, the orange blossoms emits a sweet fragrant scent that is slightly powdery. Ylang ylang is softly spiced and a beautiful complement to the orange blossom, the florals are on a nice cedar base.
APOM Pour Femme has great staying power – about 8 hours!

If you love Boudoir by Vivienne Westwood – you will love this scent. They are very similar 🙂 Apom is Boudoir’s twin sister …A little more shy, less loud and less confident, but still veeeery…sexy…

I’m not even sure about this one. It started as a one of those old ladies perfumes, and so far it doesn’t seem to change from that way. I expected more of ylang-ylang, but the most I get from this fragrance is a powdery scent, though there shouldn’t be powdery notes. It’s strange. I can’t decide if it’s a kinda like or dislike. Need to test it a bit more.
The scent stays on the skin for a very long time.

I was always on the fence with Elie Saab’s Le Parfum, and the intense version. I loved the orange blossom but somehow I found it pedestrian, too pretty, too nice. Something was missing.
What made me buy APOM instead: the blend of orange flower and ylang-ylang. It makes the orange flower really creamy, seductive, while keeping it clean. It’s simple, but it’s well-blended and intense, it gets noticed. It’s a relaxing scent for people around you as well. It wear it at nighttime in summer, but it can be worn in cold weather as well.
    – “Madam, you smell like heaven”

I was pleasantly surprised by this perfume as white flowers can be hit and miss for me, but the orangeflower is beautiful followed by glorious yang yang then a cedar base. It’s very feminine, classy with good longevity, not overly floral and in your face I would quite happily wear this at work. I’m quite new to this house but it’s very quickly becoming a favourite.

    Hmmm- interesting orange blossom fragrance!
At first, the top notes create a smell that reminds me of bandaids and Calamine lotion- but as I get active, the orange blossom kicks in, and the accords blend beautifully into a coherent, sophisticated scent. that I’m beginning to really enjoy!
It’s funny, I got the same Calamine lotion vibe the first time that I tried La Chasse aux Papillons… it must be the type of orange blossom…

I have to test it a few more times but one thing I know for sure: “it does not smell like L heure bleu”, not for me at least. Nothing, just nothing at all.
I wrote before that APOM smelled like berries but I was wrong. It took me 3 tests to change my mind about APOM. My question was: “would I buy it and wear it regularly?”. After 3 tests I could say, yes for sure. It is a feminine, fresh, almost sweet floral scent. It is what the other reviewers wrote and much more. It sits beautiful on the skin and radiates a gorgeus orange and soapy note. As the other perfumes from Kurkdjian this one take a bit more time to fall in love with it. The only issue here is the price but worth of it. Christmas is coming and maybe one for under the tree.

    This is magnificent!
At first I was a bit reserved, I thought there was something missing or rather a bit too much (probably cedar). I thought well, it’s good but not great, it’s not like I was expecting it to be, it’s just not it for me.
Since then I’ve worn it several times and every time I wear it or just sniff my small sample bottle, I’m loving it more and more.
I believe that my wardrobe includes some quite impressive classics and vintages (incl vintage Chanel 19 which has a totally different vibe than APOM femme, but is still my great love) and yet APOM femme holds a special place in it.
It took us some time to really know and grow into each other, but now I can put it among THE ONES, the rare that I’d buy a full bottle.
Francis Kurkdjian is nothing but a genius!

I want this instead of my Elie Saab bottles! It’s sweeter, softer and even a bit heavy. I loooove it!

  36. :

    3 out of 5

APOM is not what I was expecting. It took me a while to get to know and love it. I guess I was expecting the bright sparkling orange blossom found in Elie Saab, but this is not it. APOM is a more intimate fragrance. The name – A Part Of Me – is right for it. It is the actuall smell of a bitter orange tree on mid-March, with the intoxicating smell of the flowers and the heavy warm scent of the oranges that have fallen from the tree and are lying on the ground in the sun. There is no orange peel note here, so I guess it’s the ylang ylang.
Beautiful and long lasting. Together with Lumiere Noir, this is my favourite from MFK.

My first experience with this house was not a good one. Before I tried the perfume on, I saw a review on LuckyScent that said this perfume gave the reviewer a massive migraine and made them vomit. I figured that reviewer was the oddball out. Not so. They were right–APOM’s top notes smell like an orange multivitamin, followed by a heart of orange bathroom solvent that practically singed off my nose hairs, followed by powdered laundry detergent from the discount store. There is nothing in here but chemicals! Yuck with a capital “Y!
It’s one thing when you get a perfume like Costamor’s Tabacca, which is half the price, and your expectations are far surpassed. Then you have something like APOM which is thrice the price, and it smells, very seriously, like a perfume from the $20 bin.
I love orange blossom. And I love musk. There is tons upon tons of musk here. But this perfume is just sickeningly synthetic. It reminds me of the new Cartier panther release–floral aromachemicals amped up to the extreme with more chemicals. There is no natural orange blossom to be found here.
Sillage is big. I tried to wash it off twice, and it is still easily floating up to the barren landscape that was the inside of my nostrils. After hours of going out of my way to avoid smelling it, and failing miserably, I now have a sore throat. Hurts my throat and makes another person vomit. Where’s the IFRA when you actually need them? This perfume is atrocious.

  38. :

    3 out of 5

Like many perfumes with dominant notes of orange blossom APOM feels warm and sunny, but it’s enhanced with golden honey tones and Ylang Ylang. It feels very abundant and somehow open-hearted.
I can see that APOM might prove to be one of the most popular from this house; Almost everyone is uplifted by orange blossom and I would definitely wear this on a summer evening. (The sillage is strong, boosted with a synthetic something or other) and I tend to wear light perfumes during the day). I’m looking forward to wearing it for a summer party scenario.
It’s got a very subtle incense note, and something that reminded me of dried citrus peel. For some reason I was vaguely reminded of an outdoor market in Marsielles selling fruit and flowers
It’s very pretty and if I was in a morose mood, spraying this on would immediately uplift me!
Sillage and longevity are great, noticable and long lasting

I tried the sample that came with my Absolue pour le Soir this evening and the quality of both the raw materials and the artistic execution blew my mind away. Don’t be fooled by the sparse number of ingredients, this is a multi-faceted, intriguing fragrance, sort of a case study in how many nuances orange blossom and ylang-ylang have. And I can tell you: they have many. The citrussy freshness, the animalic, slightly indolic, sometimes bitter, sometimes soapy, heady qualities of the orange blossom dance with the fruity (banana-like), powdery, creamy, later honey resemling sweetness of ylang-ylang (this is not the average massage oil ylang-ylang, though!!!)The incredibly high quality ingredients give an amazing impression of the flowers’ life from morning freshness in the top notes through the sunlit sensuality till the slightly decaying notes of nearly wilting flowers. The cedar is just a background noise, really just showcases, underpins the florals, it is not dominant. This is one of the most beautuful florals I have ever smelled. Annick Goutal’s Songes came into my mind, but whileas Songes is overdone and too much of a good thing, APOM is just perfectly proportioned, hence remains wonderfully elegant without becoming a floral indigestion. Francis Kurkdjian is a master of using only a few words, yet telling volumes. And that is no easy feat, my friends!

This is Solo Loewe after he won the lottery, got rich and did a sex change surgery. Now he is she, with a little bit of boobs (more orange flower), but the same overall structure, only with an attitude “Bitch please i’m a new person now”.

  43. :

    5 out of 5

I found a tester of this with no recollection whatsoever of where I got it or when, so I thought I’d use it up. However, It’s far too gorgeous to use willy-nilly. It is a lovely fresh summer scent. The orange blossom is refreshing and bright but not overpoweringly floral. There is a slight hint of soft spice which I think comes from the ylang-ylang, and the cedarwood underpins it all to give a slight musk. Later on, there is a hint of soft powder but no soapiness. This is a gentle summer scent, but a grown-up womanly summer scent rather than girlish. There is a suggestion of erotica, but not in-your-face sexiness, it’s elegant and feminine. This is a beautifully blended and layered fragrance and I love it.

  44. :

    5 out of 5

This is a beautiful white orange blossom that is slightly powdery, just a smidge. It’s feminine without being overly sharp, soapy or powdery. It’s slightly honeyed but not nearly as sweet as other honeyed Orange Blossom scents (ie. Sweet Redemption). The Ylang-Ylang gives it an almost oriental feel and blends well with the cedar to anchor the orange blossom. In the drydown the cedar comes out a bit more but it’s always second fiddle to the florals.
The overall composition is warm and slightly powdery. the three notes listed are deceptively simple. How they interact with each other is anything but simple.
The longevity is actually pretty amazing for an orange blossom scent, about 8 hours. The sillage is moderate. It’s personal but not a skin scent.

  45. :

    3 out of 5

Orange blossom is one that always tend to stand out to me. It’s sunny, smiling and unforgivingly cheery – which is great! But often when wearing it I end up feeling like my cheeks have been taped up with Scotch tape, stuck in a rather unfortunate manner. I guess orange flowers just weren’t made to go with Scandinavian melancholy.
APOM Pour Femme is an orange blossom scent among millions of others. Still, it’s nothing like any one of all those. When I wear it I hardly notice the orange blossoms. They’re there at the first application but after that, it’s all structures and textures.
I see the face of a geisha, white paint and powder on the surface, flesh and blood underneath. I feel the slightly coarse coolness on the lips when taking a sip from an ancient stoneware cup. I feel like walking into an old closet, the roughness of the wooden planks on one side, the silky smoothness of a creme brulee colored negligee on the other.
Simply put, APOM Pour Femme is the best orange blossom scent I’ve encountered yet. It’s minimalistic, just a hint of orange blossoms over an equally well-blended base of powdery ambers and woods. The ylang seems to have a starchy effect, binding the swirliness of the orange blossoms, still offering enough transparency for the light to shine through. APOM Pour Femme balances perfectly between gentle prettiness and abysmal womanliness – like a dainty parcel containing all the mysteries of the world.

APOM got me the first compliment by my assistant, who has been bearing my perfumania for over one year. She never commented on Silences, Lys Soleia, Molinard de Molinard and Eau des MErveilles. But she loved APOM, the lightness and cleanliness of it. So I gave her my sample.
On me, APOM goes on all soapy, bitter orange blossom. It’s a fairly simple, linear scent, very clean. Not harsh at all, it is actually smooth and rounded. Surprisingly tenacious (I got wafts after 8 hours of wear)and with lovely sillage, not monstrous, but it was felt.
I have other scents for daytime that I prefer, so will not be getting an FB, but I recommend it to anyone who wants a good quality elegant and wearable perfume.

    Amazing Elegant Scent!
    Beautiful cozy scent.
APOM sends delicious wafts of orange blossom curling around your body, with a powdery comfortable warmth that envelops your senses and exudes a sexy feel.
The first spray, I detect the cedar almost more than orange blossom and then ylang ylang. 20+ min later.. the orange blossom really comes to life. The fragrance is very smooth and extremely well blended. There is a powdery quality to it that makes it more sophisticated and sexy.
    APOM is a completely FBW!

Heavenly elegant, ultra feminine scent! This is the best orange blossom perfume I ever smelled – sweet, soft, soapy. I would add round, golden, intoxicating… the list of positive adjectives could be infinite.
Only the true genius, as Francis Kurkdjain is, possesses the capacity to create so wonderfully balanced scent only with three notes. Orange blossom, cedre and ylang-ylang – that’s it, so simple and so complex.
He earns my absolute admiration and APOM is the next Francis Kurkdjian perfume I add to my want-list!

Heavenly citrus opening, beautiful heart notes reminiscent of Guerlain’s L’Heure Bleu and Insolence with their powdery feel. Has a retro vibe but definitely not old fashioned. I am a little let down when it comes to the drydown as it seems to lack substance especially on my skin. Perhaps it is because this fragrance on me wears more like a cologne, so I should not expect an intoxicating lingering on forever base??? So instead I spray on clothes to extend the clean powdery feel this fragrance gives. I love to put it on in the morning. Joyful, clean, classy.
I see many find it similar to Ange ou Demon. I would have never thought of that. Ange ou Demon always seemed harsh and brash to me while APOM is full of finesse.

  52. :

    5 out of 5

I was not sure if I liked the opening of APOM, but after 20 minutes I have certainly started to fall in love with this perfume.
What a natural, fresh and attractive scent! It has some retro vibe, or rather a classic vibe (some old Guerlain feel, anyone?), but it is also very modern, like all FK’s creations are.
I mostly feel ylang ylang with its wonderful powderiness, and sometimes also catch the fresh whiffs of orange blossom. I cannot tell if I smell many notes here, it’s a well blended, smooth, harmonious fragrance.
It’s a dressy daytime perfume, extremely feminine, with a long and seductive sillage.
9/10, it’s worth the high price!

first of all i know this is a women’s perfume but i like it either way and bought myself a bottle.
this perfume is not my go to perfume i rarely wear it to go out.
i wear this when i go to sleep.
the scent comforts me like a blanket does during winter time.
I could say this scent plays a big role helping me deal with my insomnia 🙂

Thanks, Carmencita. I did know that the name is an acronym, but was asking how the acronym is pronounced–accent on the “A” or on the “POM”?

Apom is an orange-flower/cedar/sandalwood accord which is not too dissimilar to Killian’s sweet redemption – but not quite as strong. There is a tendency for this scent to go “soapy” on my skin, but I personally do not actually mind this, as I find soapy things leaning towards sentimentality rather than annoyance. It warms up nicely on the skin to a a more musk and flowers combo in which cedar streamlines the base and the effect is pleasant – but not groundbreaking. Gorgeous bottle, and I am quite a sucker for gorgeous bottles. The price is steep on this number, so do test before impulse buying. Prominent notes of orange-flowers, musk and woods.
    Lasting power: 7.5/10
    Sillage: 7/10
    Value for money: 4.5/10

Francis Kurkdjian sure does love working with orange blossom. Let’s not forget that he is the nose behind Narciso Rodriguez EDT and Elie Saab, two fragrances that feature orange blossom in abundance. He has done it again with APOM Pour Femme.
APOM Pour Femme is surprisingly not as bold as I expected it to be. It’s an airy and crisp take on orange blossom, being rather Spring appropriate on the skin. To my nose, the orange blossom in this composition is naturally sweet and slightly honeyed.
Ylang ylang compliments the orange blossom nicely. This floral blend has the uncanny ability to make one happy with its bright and ‘yellow’ qualities. I half suspect that there is also a hint of mimosa in this composition.
Francis Kurkdjian has chosen to keep APOM Pour Femme simple, and I fully support this wise decision. It focuses on the real beauty of orange blossom without any added distractions. The cedar note in the drydown is so very faint, allowing the orange blossom to remain a dominant fixture throughout.
APOM Pour Femme is neither soapy nor powdery, unlike some orange blossom scents. This was my first foray into the Maison Francis Kurkdjian brand. Cheers to discovering the rest of what this house has on offer.

Just bought this perfume and I completely love the orange blossom scent, it reminds me a lot of Sweet Redemption by Kilian but not as strong.

Not a review exactly (I LOVE this fragrance), but a question: Does anyone know how this name is properly pronounced? AY-pom? Uh-POM. A-P-O-M (pronouncing each letter as an initial)? Help, please?! Thank you!

To me it is closer to Guerlain Insolence.

The brand salesman said he had some customer’s feedback said this smell L’huere Bleue, this would worth to buy since I can’t get Guerlain LB. Thanks to this brand, I have the chance to wear this world famous vintage L’huere Bleue.

Is it really smell like L’heure Bleu? Then I must get this, since my friend recommended me L’heure Bleu but i can’t get that in my country, but i can get APOM Pour Femme.
The lasting power is lighter than Lumiere Noir.

Apom Pour Femme is quite a nice refereshing one.
The start is quite a déjà vu, which makes me think of sweetened, less spicy old fashioned cologne, like 4711, or any good citrusy aromatic perfume like Dior Escale a Portofino. A quite definite bergamot note is here.
Soon after, the cologne feel is totally gone, Apom Pour Femme gets sweeter, a little bit powdery with a touch of old days charm, something like Hollywood in the 70s, 80s. Apom Pour Femme actually smell a bit non-dominant baby powder mixed with flower bouquet sweetness to me, I guess it’s the ylang ylang. Somehow it’s like a sibling of Givenchy’s Ange ou Demon and Very Irresistible.
Later on, it gets more and more similar to Ange ou Demon, which I used to love a lot. The only difference to me is Apom Pour Femme is a bit smoother and less powdery than Ange ou Demon.
Lovely scent to try on, and if you like Ange ou Demon you’ll love this!
