I adore this it is beautiful and ever so convincingly natural in its projection. It does however not last more than a couple of hours and then I run back for more. I have flirted with this I want to own a bottle but for the price with the longevity it has perhaps not…maybe I will just stare across the room at the lucky so and so who is wearing it! One word captivating!

Mastika, Ouzo, Raki – Europe loves its anise-flavoured drinks. And so does this Etro offering. It does what it says on the label. This is one of the great things about Etro fragrances – what you see is what you’ll get.
Anice goes through different flavors – tender rosewood beginning similar to Etra’s, vegetable fennel heart, quality musky end – but it never lets you forget it is Anise you bought. And it will be Anise you will smell. A true authentic one.
Really good fragrance, typical Etro chic, just not my cup of drink.

Anice!! WOW!!! Divine! It is the most fantastic anise/liquorice perfume! Delicate and Delicious! I LOVE it! It’s completely……..fabulous!!! I just can’t say how delicious it is. Totally!!! My husband absolutely adores it on me, and has a squirt himself every now and then – he reckons he’s addicted to it! Me too!! It’s the yummiest perfume! It lasts fairly well on me too, about 10 hours. Beautiful. It’s a dream.
And these bottles by Etro! God they are superb!!! I love them – they’re the nicest things. They look so gorgeous, refined, pure, fresh, ethereal and sparkling, and they’re beautiful to hold. I love using them. I love looking at them. They’re so beautifully made. So solid and elegant. Such elegant colours. Just gorgeous!

Excellent perfume, love the anis and liquorice smell.
The big big downside of this gem is the lack of persistance, it vanishes after a few minutes.
You must spray it several times.
This is one of the perfumes that really deserve an intense version!

“A Shot of Ouzo in Athens” ****
This blend of a boozy and very natural anise seed mixed with flowers reminds me the nights in the Plaka of Athens. It is so exciting that I become voluptuous.
After testing several Etro’s scents, I have this house as one of my favorites now.
PS: Vanished after a couple of hours… a shot indeed!

bomba di anice iniziale che si assesta quasi immediatamente su un accordo agrumato e muschiato con lieve sentore di liquirizia

This smells exactly like Good n’ Plenty candies for the wonderful ten minutes that it lasts; fresh, chewy, and well, like anise. The experience is similar to watching the previews of a movie you really want to see, and then finding out that the whole film is impossible to find. I would love this to no end if only it had “good” or “plenty” of lasting power, hardy har.

Wow….what a great fragrance!! It is spicy, but clean. So invigorating! I love it. It is a great light earthy scent. It really gives you a boost and gives you that natural kick to face the day. The Anise/Licorice scent is so nice and it is not strong, but very clean. Nice formulation. I would think this is a good Spring/Summer/early Fall scent. I recommend this scent!

All I get from this composition is ANISE, ANISE and even more ANISE. A tremendously realistic interpretation of the ANISE. It inevitabily reminds me of an italian liqueur called Sambuca that is sweet, sticky and unmistakeably made from ANISE. The drydonw has some ANISE but it gets a little better with a shy dose of musk and vanilla, yet everything is still overwhelmed by the main ingredient: ANISE. Did I use the word ANISE too much? That’s exaclty what this perfume does on the olfactory aspect.
Rating: 4/10

This is a FANTASTIC FANTASTIC perfume!! It resembles the aroma of Anise very very realistic! It is like drinking the Greek drink ‘Ouzo’.
EXCELLENT!!

I love, love, love this stuff!
At first the anice starts off very strong and intense which might remind of alcoholic drinks that contain anise.
But soon it gets softer and more lemony. Slightly sweet but still refreshing.
I love the way Anice melts with my skin chemistry and creates a delicate and enchanting aura.
The drydown is quite musky but still carries on the luminous anise-theme.
I smell similarities with Caron – Eau de Reglisse, but Etros is more on the gourmand side, while Caron is more citrus.
Too me this fragrance has something divine and suits a refined, educated and eventempered woman, who knows exactly who she is.
This juice is definitely not everybodys cup of tea and it needs a certain countenance to wear it.
But I guess people who do not like anise wouldn´t try it anyway.

This scent is simply Ouzo!! Smells excactly like the greek Anise-liquor also known as Raki in Turkey. I can´t imagin anyone wearing this, because it reminds me soooo much of strong alcohol.
denisprost – :
100% licorice. I like licorice very much, but I get no other notes at all and don’t really want to smell like a candy stick. (Not unless it’s October.)

Very light, sweet anice fragrance. Perfect for summertime!
