Description
To celebrate the decade of its iconic Amethyst fragrance, Lalique launches its night elixir version – Amethyst Exquise. The new bottle design with interlaced brambles, raspberries and blackberries was inspired by the “Épines” collection, made in 1913 by René Lalique.
Amethyst Exquise is announced as a refined and lavish scent that combines berry fruits such as blackberry, raspberry and black currant with flowering orchid tones, all on a woody base. The scent is reportedly a darker, more intense and sensual version of the original, distilled from “forbidden fruit and luscious flowers”.
Available as 100 ml Eau de Parfum.
Amethyst Exquise was launched in 2017.

I’ve only tried this on skin once but my first impression is that it has absolutely nothing to do with the original Amethyst.
The original is sour and all about berries.
The exquise one is super sweet and heavy, creamy, and much more oriental.
I don’t really smell the berries here and if they are there, they’re really sweet.
Hence I think the orchid (and maybe some vanilla even if it’s not listed) is the most prominent note.
Exquise’s more intense than the original and would fit as a night time fragrance for autumn/winter.
I personally don’t like Exquise (prefer the original) and I think you should definitely try this before purchase.
Do not think you will like it just because you like the original Amethyst! 🙂 They’re very different.

The perfume I actually have is Lalique Amethyst. Not exquise. But it is the best perfume i own! It has such a nice scent. It has the scent of black berry type and flowery and extremely expensive smell. It just gives me the feeling of wearing the best thing on earth.
I know my description sucks but all im getting at is that you should definitely buy it!
