Al Fairooz is probably one of the best masculine floral scents I have ever smelled (which isn’t a vast number). It also has a lot of versatility. I find that I can wear this through much of the year if I’m feeling froggy enough. Overall, I find AF to be a marigold dominated scent, but other notes listed in the scheme are also present.
Initially, I picture the color orange when I smell this. I think maybe it’s me knowing there are apricots in this. I do enjoy eating them and I think they smell good as well. It’s a nice fit in the opening of AF. It’s basically a sweet citrus/fruit combining with violet. As I said, the brunt of this scent is floral, but it’s very unisex, even a bit masculine imho. The last part of this fragrance is basically a sweet (I’m guessing the honey) and light musk.
Projection is strong but not overbearing. I easily get compliments on this. I think I paid about 90$ for the bottle but I do think it’s worth it. It’s an edp so longevity is not an issue here. AF also comes in a nice velvet type of box if I remember correctly.
