Zeleznjak – :
It’s beautiful; yet, I’m actually not sure that I understand the use of the name air. Air is quite “solid,:” thick, dense, and woody. It isn’t “airy,” and neither do I feel like it is a scent for putting on “airs,” it’s very much down to earth. Spice, soft and amorphous is the dominant aspect for me; but it’s held up by such a solid woody backbone. I get the oak, distinctly and strong. Overall, it’s an incredibly cozy and comforting/comfortable scent. There’s no sharpness to this and I don’t even notice the citrus particularly among the notes. It wafts surprisingly well for an oil and I could still smell it at the skin after a full workday.

Splendid unisex… both comforting and invigorating at once. Herbal, citrus, balsamic, powdery, and slightly sweet – a lovely melange. Karen has done a very skillful job with her creations, and Air is my favorite of her two cozy oil offerings. The oils wear close to the skin but have an appealing denseness to them that is intimately satisfying.
If you like oils and indie oils at that, please don’t forget to sample these Vartan beauties. AIR is a treat I won’t soon forget!
