A pesar de llevar el mismo nombre, no tiene nada que ver el aroma del jabón en pastillas con la colonia, aún así tiene un olor muy cítrico…fresco,me gusta, recuerda mucho a Ô de Lancome

ZELJO, that’s why she said ” COLONIAL Export ” meaning Spain exports this product to the Philippines, a Spanish colony for 333 years. The Spanish introduced Heno de Pravia to the Philippines.

I always believed that fragrances seal memories and have the tendency to bring you back into the past. Heno de Pravia is one of those fragrances.
I believe that it was my beautiful Lola (grandma) who introduced me to fragrances simply because she only uses Heno de Pravia soaps, a colonial export in the Philippines from Spain. So every time I see and smell Heno de Pravia soaps it always reminds me of her and warm summer days sitting and talking with her.
I was in Spain recently and could not resist but to buy a bottle of the cologne for the sake of being reminded of my Lola. This is not a fancy fragrance. It is not complex-it is clean, green, soapy fresh and I use it now as after shower cologne.

The relatively new Agua de Colonia Heno de Pravia Glicerina y Té Blanco is much better and sooooo cheap! (2,5€ 650ml). It´s a lovely clean fragance with a surprisingly good longevity. And it´s the only unisex bath cologne I frequently get complimented for. Light and refreshing in this heat wave we´re suffering.
It´s a pity it´s not listed here.

I don’t understand how you function. I want to buy a bottle of Agua de Pravian (heno), the glass bottle that comes in a yellow cardboard box. How do I do that?

Terrible longevity and sillage but it makes a truly lovely after-shower splash. It is really sparkly, lively, and grassy. I do love it and wouldn’t be without it – one of life’s fleeting beautiful moments.
Biomplainna – :
Smells like Heno de Pravia soaps.
