Charlie No.5 is one of my favourites of the Opus Oils line so far. I am an Amber nut and this has a gorgeous Amber note in it, thick and full, blending with a rich Musk. The labdanum adds a balsamic touch while the vanilla a hint of sweetness. I dont really detect any patch or ambergris. In short, a rich Amber Musk fragrance and a beautiful one at that.
Smell wise, I love this. The only downside is that it does not project as much as some of the others in the Opus oils line like Dirty Sexy wilde or Dapper. It stays close to skin but it does last about 5-6 hours. My wrist has been stuck to my nose as I am writing this. If you like Amber or Musk without the funk, do check this out. If this was amped up a bit, would be a 10/10 for me. As is, still a love for me.
