Description
Absolute Man is a new men’s fragrance from the Bruno Banani collection, coming out at the beginning of 2014. Absolute Man, vivid and energetic scent, represents irresistible men who seduces without effort. It is advertised with the slogan: “Other Men Try Hard, Absolute Man Sits Back & Enjoys”.
The composition opens with notes of grapefruit, mandarin and black pepper. The heart is made of energy drink accord, violet leaves and lily of the valley. It all ends with the base of tonka bean, amber wood and vanilla.
The bottle design is inspired by energy drinks, with its orange colors giving away fresh and spicy character of the fragrance it contains. The fragrance is available as 30, 50 and 75 ml Eau de Toilette with an accompanying collection.

never heard of the brand before but being realistic I’d say the smell is ok if you like sweet & powdery fragrances. I do so I somehow like this one. One objection maybe; I’m afraid it is nothing but synthetics. Something that isn’t too bad neither, most brands use those nowadays. Unfortunately but to say you can not detest this Bruno for using them to love Calvin Klein or Tommy Hilfiger’s fragrances that are nothing but chemical & synthetics! Bruno’s quality obviously isn’t a Guerlain’s or Yves Saint Laurent one! I did smell it for a good 10 hours but it was used the right way an eau de toilette should be used yet not only 3 sprays on your neck & clothes! I will probably not buy it again but do not regret having the 30ml bottle which is nice to look at. Bruno’s nice, unconventional bottles being its best quality? I will tell it on my reviews to come about his other smells.

A light, sporty scent. Nothing special or fancy here, just a nice smell. Longevity and sillage are weak. Banani must work on the power! I think this is a bit overpriced. If looking for something not so expensive, I’d buy a bottle of Adidas over this, anytime.

Normally when writing reviews of products I try to be at least ‘fairly’ objective and descriptive of the product itself, regardless of whether or not I personally love or hate the product. Extremes are hard to hide. Great love for something is just difficult to hide in a review, as well as great hate. Unfortunately for this scent, it’ll be hard for me to avoid not insulting this scent. ‘dandan’ is spot on. While I can’t speak to the brand itself (never heard of bb before), this scent is, indeed, a joke.
Would you remember the worst fragrance you’ve ever smelled? Even if it was months or years after smelling it? This smells exactly like another fragrance I sampled a year ago by Aldo – they’re ‘A is for Aldo’ Red fragrance. ‘Scrubber’ as a term defining that fragrance was an understatement as it is here. Absolute Man smells like someone threw up ginger and licorice on my shirt and then vanilla comes to blend in with that putrid mess.
I blind bought this even after reading these reviews because I had a gift card to a store that sold this. I should’ve listened. I sprayed this on the order form it came in and almost threw up – couldn’t even wear it on my skin. I’m now trying to give it away and not sure if I’ll be able to do that. It actually might get thrown in the trash.

This brand (and of course this particular “scent”) is a joke. The worst thing is that everywhere I go in the city, the advertising is everywhere. On TV, billboards and shop windows too.
In one thing I have to agree with the advertising: It’s not for everybody…

On the other hand I dont buy it because of the bruno banani’s bad quality.
