I am a huge fan of spicy food and chili peppers, so when I saw this cologne I instantly knew It must be mine 🙂 It is an absolutely lovely, wearable and pleasent autumn scent. Juicy, sweet yet fresh apples and a bit of prickly, spicy sensation from the chili. It is a cologne, so lasting power is not great, but it is decent.
The bottle and external paper box are both gorgeous.
I am so looking forward to try more from this brand, and I am glad that beside the classic 4711 they managed to produce something modern and inspiring too!

The classic 4711 cologne might get good reviews and might be a perfectly fine fragrance, but in Germany it’s one of the typical grandma fragrances and I will never not have that association with it.
I noticed from samples the Acqua Colonias smell nothing like 4711 cologne, but I still find the brand the opposite of glamorous.
Then I found out they have this apple chili scent and got curious, and what can I say, I changed my mind.
On the box Red Apple & Chili is advertised as a warming fragrance but to me it’s rather a refreshing fragrance for people who like warm scents.
The apple is red, sweet and juicy, but also a bit like apple shampoo. I can’t detect chili specifically, but some general spicy notes. There must be more than two notes, there is also something clean, maybe white musk or florals. But it’s still simple and fairly linear.
As an EDC it won’t last forever but it does stay a few hours. Nice for refreshment in summer.
Edit: It’s on my arm for 5 hours now and still there, not too shabby for an EDC.

This one is the best from this line. I get a sweet, spicy apple. A lovely fragrance. Would be great for layering, but also perfectly fine to wear alone.
It seems that they have worked on the projection problems too.
I am positively surprised.
Thumbs up!
