This is a very good fragrance, one of the best from Scentstory and highly underrated. It’s probably the most unique cologne from this designer, along with 24 Go Dark.
I do not consider it to be a clone of One Million as many have stated; Yes, it could be a One Million flanker if it would be designed by Paco Rabanne, but no existing Paco Rabanne fragrance smells like 24 Live Another Night. This Scentstory fragrance is less sweet, more ambery and with a detectable mint note that does not exist in the One Million family.
This perfume opens light and fresh with fruit and mint, to later slowly acquire a more oriental tone with resins, nutmeg and cinnamon, and to reveal a strong dominant ambery note in the base. The drydown is quite pleasant with a sweet combo of nutmeg and cinnamon wrapped in a captivating resinous amber.
Although this fragrance structure is Oriental, Scentstory designed a more western fragrance tis time. it’s quite different from the vast majority of the other “more oriental” Scentstory perfumes as it does not use oud, nor any other heavy scented wood notes like guaiac or sandalwood.
Its performance is average but, for the silly price it costs, hardly a good performance could be asked on top of its very nice blending and general scent.
It’s a safe “use it all the time”” type of perfume, subtle enough to be quite versatile, with a nice flask and a decent sprayer.
I don’t understand why it does sell for 1/3 of other Scentstory fragrances. Are the other fragrances overrated or is this fragrance underrated? Well it’s our profit if we become this fragrance users.
What does this fragrance math reveals?
Scent Opening: 7.5 (my judgement)
Scent Dry Down: 8.5 (my judgement)
Longevity: 6.5 (2 good sprays may last 4~6 hours)
Sillage: 6.5 (3~4feet at its peak with just 2 sprays)
Uniqueness: 8.0 (it is identifyable as similar to the One Million family or related to Code Profumo; It’s not a clone of either)
Wearability: 8.5 (a 3 seasons scent; Just exclude winter time; you may use it either in outdoors or indoors, day or night)
Versatility: 8.5 (“all around” versatile fragrance; some specific fragrances may be better for specific environments like gymn, beach, outdoor activities in very hot days, very cold days or nights)
Compliments: 7.0 (This fragrance will please to a wide range of people of both genders, but meaning only that you have an agreable scent, not a “killer” or a “compliment magnet” scent)
Quality: 9.0 (Above average quality except on performance, quality ingredients, nice flask,.. but mainly not having faults but without really standing in the spotlight)
Presentation: 7.0 (no faults but not impressive)
Price: 9.0 (100 ml non tester for € 14 + shipping)
Overall rating: 7.82/10.00
I recommend this fragrance as a safe option when you cannot decide what to wear. It’s that versatile.

To me this more like armani code profumo, opening notes are sweet fruity notes and turns down to bit spicier, projection is close to your body. Performance on my skin is average aroun 2,3 hours and then it becomes skin scent. It performs better on clothing. IMO this is very safe fragrance. A very generic designer Fragrance nowadays you smell. Nothing special about it.

It’s a 1 Million clone. Anyone says it ain’t just deludin’ ‘emselves. Thing is though, I think completely accidentally they’ve not so much done a clone as almost a lost flanker. I get a lot more mint in this than I do in 1 Million. It ain’t even so much that I can pick it out as a note, more that there’s a bit of this menthol coldness and you breathe it in. An’ when it dries down I get TONS of Nutmeg, which is a note I startin’ to really like. It comes across a TINY BIT more mature than the real macoy. I only say “a bit” ‘cause there’s only so mature you can get workin’ off that DNA. You couldn’t wear it with a suit, not unless you’re one of those loonies who likes to watch The World burn, an’ if you ARE you’re probably just wearin’ 1 Million with a suit anyway, ain’t ya?
Decent performance, around eight hours off me, an’ strong projection. Maybe not old-school Paco Rabanne Patient Zero projection but people WILL be able to tast ya if you go mental with it. An’ the kicker is, for 50ml. I paid SIX QUID BRAND NEW. I COULD’VE bought two for a tenner but I was blind buyin’ it so I didn’t wanna run the risk of havin’ a second bottle of somethin’ I didn’t like. Shoulda just said sod it.

So much better than Live Another Day. Spicier & longer lasting. All ScentStory frags I’ve tried are excellent value & out-perform some expensive niche brands. This one especially good for daytime. The cinnamon/nutmeg notes remind me Cacharel L’Homme which is getting hard to find.

My local store which stocks all things Scent Story, usually at great prices never seemed to get this when it came out, yet the oud editions they were all over. However now they are well and truly old hat, I find this one in a bargain bin marked down so I thought why not have a punt?
24 Live another night is very similar to 1 Million, brimful of youthful energy. An opening of tangerine then the familar modern cocktail of the sweet and slightly cloying, with a warm, chemical edge of amber. Cinnamon spiced amber with the soapy element of Cardamom and creamy woods.
What I like about this is that although a brazen & unashamed copy, it’s not quite as brash as 1 Million but on the flipside doesn’t last as long or develop as well as a result so it’s a trade off really. For those who like the smell of the Paco scent without wanting something as in your face, this might be a viable option considering also that it’s significantly cheaper.
I have it in my collection now and although I’m not crazy about it, I’m wearing this today and it’s okay. One small comment about the bottle, I figured these scents looked a little tacky presentation wise but the bottle is actually quite nice (exception being the cheap nasty stuck on label) the stopper is uber heavy and a nice touch.

comparing this with 1 million is like comparing a firecracker to an atom bomb its so weak on me ive used 10mls today alone and its still gone after a couple of minutes which is a pity because for those few minutes it really is very nice
shneur – :
Well I sampled this today and I would agree with everyone wo would compare this to 1 million. Yet to be fair, this is a lighter, easier to wear version to 1 million. It’s for those who like 1 million but get really cloyed by it, like me. I mean for me 1 million just says “I’m desperate for attention”, don’t you agree?
After letting 24 night develop a little bit on my skin it started smelling more like Fuel for Life. So, yes I agree its not a brilliant frag but it works I’d say…

Deri Guzman, designer =/= price of a fragrance. Scent Story only makes fragrances, which would make them niche.

A very disappointing release from ScentStory, if you are expecting the same quality as that displayed in 24 Gold, Platinum, Oud Editions etc you will not get it.
A generic rip off of 1 Million (Yes I know…EVERYTHING gets compared to 1 Million…but seriously…sniff it!) and not the longest lasting either, certainly not even close to some of the others in the 24 range as far as performance goes.
Very disappointing, the wonderful niche house of ScentStory has decided to go all “generic designer” on it’s customers.
However considering how excellent the Oud Editions of 24 Gold and 24 Platinum were (Which were also released the same year) I still have hopes for future releases by ScentStory

Another 1 in the list of 1 Million dupes, the bottle is gorgeous, really nice and solid, feels well made, the fragrance itself is nice, but take your pick, PR 1 Million, Axis Caviar, M%S Autograph, they all smell the same, and so does half the male population. It is nice but i implore you all go for something more imaginative.
drcocaine – :
Nice fragrance, less sophisticated than the other ScentStory creations. More the fans of the TV series but still pleasant to wear and much cheaper alternative to One Million
