Kenzo presents its new collection of three fragrances called Totem: Totem Orange, Totem Yellow and Totem Blue, the scents of new freshness, energy and sensuality. Three new fragrance bring woody – floral, woody – citrusy and woody – fruity aromas.

Totem Yellow, the explosive scent, provides a new, sparkling and joyful freshness of citrus notes. It is developed by perfumer Christophe Raynaud. Pink grapefruit is combined with gentle chords of tea and leathery woods.
Symbolic bottle is designed by the Japanese studio Nendo. The Totem is simple, asserted, stands for an identity and gathers people together.The fragrances are available as 30 and 50 ml Eau de Toilette. Totem Yellow was launched in 2015.

Second test
This seems a bit thicker today, and a sort of drag to the scent on the nose, not s bad thing just an observation.
It seems heavy on the citrus aromatic Rosemary side…

Very impressive edt, as is the blue one
Yellow: I get a good citrusy warmth from this, I forget the initial notes, I tried this yesterday.
Citrus green … what else…? Anyway I spotted it discounted and gave it a go. I thought it reminds me of other warm, creamy ish, fresh types of fragrance I have.
It’s worth it if you’re after that sort of scent and don’t have any. Best lasting edt I’ve tried in many years, I think it’s the masculine accents which boost it. Same comment for the blue ine

I think Totem Yellow is quite good. Woody, leathery citrus scent.
The whole line is interesting, but this one seems to be the best of them.
A little masculine for my taste, but still worth a try.

So I’m not a fresh/summery perfume person but I think I’ve found my favourite citrus.
This is by far my favourite Totem and the most original one. The grapefruit is very prominent and easily recognizable, juicy and bitter and just a bit sour. The leather follows closely and is very nicely paired with the grapefruit. The tea and woods are just undertones, providing a smooth background to the sparkly citrus. Everything here is perfectly balanced.
The sillage is not bad at all, noticeable but not in-your-face.
This is a very nice addition to the market and, in my opinion, should be a bigger deal.
I’d suggest this to everyone who doesn’t generally go for citrusy scents.
