A friend who’s really into gourmand, spicy perfume sent me a sample of this to check out. Unfortunately I wasn’t into it at all, and not just because I tend not to like gourmands, but because I just didn’t think there was much to it. It’s basically a dry cedar-sandalwood scent with a spice rack dumped in. The spice procession is headed by cinnamon, and there appears to be some nutmeg in there, but it’s mainly a clove-y cinnamon. And that’s really all there is. Light, dry, scratchy, and gone within a couple of hours.
