LOVE this one. Worn it alot this spring-summer. I don’t see this as a dark frgagrance AT ALL. It is very bright and springy. Rose and Lemon with pepper for depth. I could wear this everyday. Signature scent worthy.

This fragrance reaches for the darker corners of your mind. Initially quite heavy on peppercorn, which is paired with bright lemon and bergamot. I absolutely love the cedar wood note in this fragrance. It is semi-pungent at first, but dries to have a slightly smokey quality later. It has great depth and longevity. Sandalwood is included as well, adding a smoothness to the sharp peppercorn and cedar wood. I unfortunately could not detect any of the said included rose water, as it was too well masked by the piercing woods and spice. Unabashedly masculine, conjuring up thoughts of great strength and character. No. 20 is said to be inspired by an old library feel. Perhaps the addition of pipe tobacco notes as well as papyrus could have helped accomplished this. Nonetheless, this is a fantastic cologne for that strong man in your life. (133)
