Miss Charming is a dry, tart rose and litchi scent. Very dry, very tart.I thought Stella was a dry tart pinchy-faced rose until I smelled this. Nothing sweet about this at all, which is what makes it so refreshing and wearable.
There is also the dried strawberry smell which puts me in mind of the smell of a box of cereal, just without the sweetness. On the surface this seems ordinary, but the nuances make it different. Nuances being the strawberry cereal overtones and the ambroxan JHAG uses in everything. Very Charming indeed.

A safe, generic smell from Juliette. Fruity floral. You can tell how generic it’s by how many popular fragrances smell like it in the “reminds me” section above.
The scent is 7/10 with an average performance.
Nothing special but nothing bad either except for that exaggerated price tag!

I was so excited to love this fragrance. I really don’t like rose but this one is blended beautifully with the berries. I was really let down when it was completely gone within 30-45 min. Makes me so sad!

This is a very juicy rose fragrance, and yes, I think it’s very charming and mood-lifting!
The dominant note in this is definitely the rose (which I love, because I am a huge fan of rosy perfumes for the most part). It smells floral, powdery, and soft. Now, I’m typically not the biggest fan of berry notes, but I think they are used extremely well here. The blackberry adds a brightness and a “morning dew”-like quality to the main rose note. The strawberry adds a hint of a sweet and sour note that almost makes the rose smell “tea-like” to me, which I also love because I’m a huge fan of tea-based perfumes.
Before trying this, I was initially told how sweet this fragrance was– to the point where I was almost expecting for this to be a gourmand. This is not at all a gourmand. It’s a fruity floral … But a very well-made fruity floral that is happy and youthful, but not at all immature (this is not AT ALL a celebrity-type fragrance). I figure that if you enjoy a sweet and clean fragrance like Nina by Nina Ricci, then you would probably enjoy the heck out of this.
I find that this perfume lasts a very decent amount of time for me, as do all of the Juliette Has a Gun Fragrances I’ve tried out. This isn’t a fragrance I’d qualify as a “one spray and you’re done” kind of thing either. It’s a good middle ground in terms of duration and sillage. I can easily see this being a signature-type fragrance for many people, since it’s so wearable and not cloying in the slightest. I think it should be great to wear during the Spring and Summer.
Overall, this is a clean, sweet, and feminine rose fragrance that’s just delightful. I adore it. I’d say that Miss Charming is the yin to Lady Vengeance’s yang (because Lady Vengeance is a fantastic, but a much sharper and a more “va va voom” rose perfume). I’ve yet to try a Juliette Has a Gun fragrance that I’ve disliked.

Miss Charming is a nice, maybe even charming fruity rose scent, but in the end, nothing special. It’s pleasant, but I have smelled similar fragrances thousands of times. I see many voted it as similar to Stella, I can’t judge that cause it’s been years since I smelled Stella, but it’s a very familiar scent.
The rose is fresh, sweet and youthful, clean bordering a bit soapy, but it has some warmth to it. No old fashioned powdery rose here. I also get some lychee, a slight woody note and a nice skin musk, in the opening some typical JHAG-aromachemicals (ambroxan?), but rose is the star of the show. There are no real twists, nothing to make it stand out.
It’s just forgettable to me. Of course, it could be just right if you’re looking for a simple fruity rose scent, but I think you could find one for less in a better bottle.

This is such a sour rose. It’s not even that fruity I can only detect the litchi otherwise I just smell a bright pink (sour) rose. Chloe EdP is much fruitier and Stella isn’t as sour and strident that my ears hurt! If anything I can compare it to the Bvlgari rose as they both share that fruity, tart and sour vibe, but Bvlgari is more natural smelling with all the greenery of the bushes and smells like a rose garden. This instead is just a pink rose with added acid (liters and liters of acidity).

A lot of Rose fragrances out there are quite sweet. Not Miss Charming.
Surprisingly clear, like rosewater, Miss Charming keeps rosy and fresh all day long.

I loved the description, but on my skin it smelled like nothing but baby powder.

This started off in a promising way with notes of litchi, rose, and tobacco. Strawberry comes along, then generic berry. Within 30 minutes, it has dried down into floral musk with unpleasant notes of artificial berries. A disappointing trajectory.

You can definitely smell the fruit and rose in this. I think the name Miss Charming is aptly fitting. It is a bit more of a youthful fragrance IMO but the rose does lend a bit of maturity to the scent. The rose in this one is different than the rose in other JHAG fragrances like Lady Vengeance or Midnight Oud. The rose in MC is more bright and not as deep and earthy and sensual as in the other scents. It pairs well with the bright fruits that shine early in application but the dry down, on me at least, was all rose. It reminds me a bit of a lotion Victoria’s Secret had back in the day, Strawberries and Champagne. Some other comments refer to this as having a “sour” smell which I can see how that might happen as I detected a very, very faint aspect of this but I imagine depending on ones chemistry this will be less detectable or amplified. Overall a pretty fragrance that the rose eventually takes center stage.

Portrait of a lady? Anyone agree they’re similar?
I adore the berry dry down in this the most.

Beautiful lichi perfume. Light fruity floral that has a sweet drydown.
The litchi makes the fruitiness different from other more berry scented fruity florals. The rose gives it a girly feminine touch.
I have to admit the longevity and projection are both on the weaker side, especially compared to other Juliette Has A Gun scents. I’m enjoying my sample and it’s a strong like for me, but I won’t be purchasing a full bottle.

I owned this several years ago after blind-buying a like-new second-hand 3.4oz bottle. I waited for the mail every day until it arrived because I was positive this would be some kind of mystical holy grail for me. Just thinking about the litch, rose, berries, and musk was enough to make my mouth water. I knew it would be soft and feminine and delicious.
Unfortunately, when it arrived and I tried it for the first time, I found it extraordinarily tart, and dry. Like citric acid. All the notes were marked “present” and in attendance, but they were poorly behaved. I found the fragrance loud and aggressive, more in line with the Gun than the Charm. I swapped it away with a heavy heart. Had I kept it, it would have become a $100 air freshener…it smelled great wafting around the room…

In my opinion, it smells like Féerie from Van Cleef & Arpels, that was released in 2008, two years after than this.I think Féerie is lighter than Miss Charming. I like both of them for daily use.

  15. :

    3 out of 5

It’s not bad. But I expected so much more… I expected it to be fresh and zingy, berry and rose sparkling and sweet juice.
Instead, it is sour rose. Just. Reminiscent of Stella. but lighter, less deep. More boring.
Not a fan of this one.

  16. :

A really elegant, effervescent burst of berries, followed by a rich, well-rounded rose. I don’t see it listed here, but I feel like I’m detecting the usual JHAG ambroxan cocktail on the drydown.
Miss Charming is very in line with the brand aesthetically, but I can sense Francis Kurkdjian’s stamp on it as the scent progresses (leave it to Kurkdjian to make berries feel sophisticated). It also feels a lot like Mad Madame by the same brand to me, but minus all that animalic heft. I often find myself layering the two fragrances because they feel so complementary. Mad Madame beefs up Miss Charming with some castoreum, Miss Charming dances around Mad Madame with its ebullient fruitiness.
I don’t know how this scent would play on male skin, but could definitely see this as a fragrance for a girl in her late teens through to late twenties. It’s fun, sweet, and sensual; definitely for someone carefree and, above all, charming.

Although I wrote in my previous review that there’s nothing special here,I couldn’t help myself buy miss charming.it was heavily discounted in clearance(40$ for 3.4oz)so I didn’t care wether it’s simple or unique or whatever.
good that I bought it.I still believe it’s a very simple perfume.nothing unique here but it’s very pretty.opens with sparkly strawberry, litchi and rose.fruits are sweet but not syrupy.it’s happy and girly.nice but not my favorite stage and reminds me Valentino pink a bit
Fruity notes calm down after couple of minutes and it dries down to a delicate sweet white musk, rose combo with slightest traces of pink berries.I adore this clean musky rose.indeed it’s very charming.innocent, pretty and superfeminine.I thought it’s almost a dupe for Chloe EDP and Stella but nope.they may be somehow similar in the opening but they go to completely different paths.stella gets warmer, heavier and more mature with amber.chloe remains very Rosey with soapy undertones but miss charming goes to the lightest, softest, prettiest way possible without being soapy. It was kind of meh at first but now I like it but I still think that the best rose-raspberry perfume out there is Lanvin jeanne la rose
    Moderate longevity and projection
    ❤❤❤

This scent is so happy and fresh. The litchi really goes well with the rose and enhances its sweetness without being artificially sugary. I think after I run out of Stella, I’ll buy a bottle of this one.

It’s like a love child of Chloe edp or Stella and Valentino pink.valentino pink it’s as much rosey and it has more sweet and gourmand facets.among miss charming and Stella or Chloe love I prefer miss charming.although it’s very rosey too,it has a little more to offer.it opens with a sweet rose and fresh juicy berry-like fruits, specially strawberry and litchi.as it dries down white musk shows up more and what remains on skin after hours is a slightly soapy rose, clean and ladylike and classy
It’s a like for me but not something I’d love or rush to buy because I have Stella, tea rose,Paul Smith rose, florabotanica,Lanvin jeanne rose and I don’t need another rosey perfume but if it was sweeter or more fruity or if it had other notes that made rose less prominent(such as Valentino pink or montale candyrose) I’d buy it
It’s very feminine, bright, fresh, clean and girly.good for spring and summer with moderate Longevity and sillage
    ❤❤❤

A beautiful purple rose is a rare find. That’s true in nature and equally true in perfumery.
Miss Charming is a purple rose to me… purple, precious and litchi infused. The fruit defines this rose. Francis Kurkdjian’s use of a litchi / berry blend to create a rose simultaneously sweet, sour and slightly (and unexpectedly) boozy is too good to go unnoticed. It really is charming. even if a bit tipsy. That might just be where the charm lives. It sounds as if Miss Charming is modern, but strangely it’s not. Just the opposite. It’s a Victorian rose to my nose. Not stale or overly powdery, but a little dusty.
For such a simple, linear composition, it certainly leaves a lasting impression. One of feminine appeal, sweetness, lace, friends, youth, spunk, innocence, wine, and yes, charm. While not cozy and comforting, it’s comfortable. I find it especially easy to wear while sitting around gabbing with my girls about nothing and everything. It’s that kind of fragrance.
    Longevity–average
    Projection–average
    Charm–enough to spare
Though I doubt this darling Juliette has ever even seen a picture of a gun, she’s completely disarming.

I love lychee. It’s hard to find perfume with a lychee note that doesn’t have other notes that overpower it. This one succeeds at being lychee-dominant, the rose and strawberry work well to support it because they both smell similar to it. It smells just like a Calpico lychee soft drink. Lasts all day, but past the 4-hour mark it’s mostly just musk which is disappointing. I wish it could have something else in the base like rose jam, vanilla or sandalwood, I don’t know. I’m going to try using Lush’s Ro’s argan oil body conditioner before putting it on next time.
Something that makes this perfume fun for me is that it causes Prince Charming by Adam and the Ants to get stuck in my head.
    Miss Charming

Miss Charming has a 1950’s pretty in pink prom dress vibe to my nose. She is 16 and wears gloves and beautiful dresses and shoes, she’s a debutante at a cotillion and she’s waited on hand and foot. She’s a stuck up Southern belle, but at least she smells good.
Yes she is a fruity floral but there is a maturity there too. It’s womanly-sweet as opposed to girly-sweet. This has a delicious opening of litchi and strawberry, which really do go well together. Sweet and a bit sour because of a berry scent in there too. The rose note is lovely. It smells mostly of rose but it’s a candied rose, the sweet strawberry-rose and the color is totally pink. It smells more of a strawberry short cake.
The mood it creates is pretty and unassuming, simple, sweet and youthful, but again there is a mature aspect because it has a grown up rose and moreover a musk scent. The muskiness is not too heavy though and I would say it’s like a light white musk, and it helps with the dry down and keeps it strong and long lasting like a real perfume ought to be.
This is in a class of it’s own as far as fruity florals. This is not going to smell like a Paris Hilton, or a Harajuku Lovers/Gwen Stefani, nor like Victoria Secret Pink. It’s a sweet but very perfumy and elegant pink scent. It’s like the perfect perfume for the character of Penelope Pittstop in the old Hanna Barbara Cartoons The Wacky Races or The Perils of Penelope Pit Stop or Princess Peach/Toadstool on Super Mario Brothers.
It’s cute and charming, delicious and sweet. I also like the design of the bottle and the packaging. I wear this to parties and always receive compliments.

As a big fun of red fruits in fragrances, I really appriciate this one! Just a few components, but with a wise and well-balanced dosage, as it is often in Francis Kurkdjian’s compositions.
An incredible delicious freshness in the opening blast with strawberry and red berries + litchi brings a lightness to them.
My skin brings out rose in the dry-down stage, and not in a sharp way, fortunately, but marrying delicately with the rest.
This is not an extremely juicy scent as Escada perfumes for exemple, but a light fruity one, still delicious and “charming”.
The only downside is her short longevity.

  24. :

I love rose and Lady Vengeance, so I was geared to love this one. The initial spray was sour, green rose. Alcohol was the main note. I sprayed twice on each wrist and on my neck just before stepping out the door. When I arrived at my destination, I couldn’t smell it, even when I awkwardly pressed my nose to my wrist in public.
TL,DR: sour, poor performance, green rose/musk/alcohol

  25. :

    5 out of 5

Miss Charming was almost a like. It opens with a positively sparkling rose burst. If roses were crystals, this is how I imagine they would smell; for one short moment I forget my tenuous relationship with rose notes. And then the litchi steps in, twingey and tropical; it’s just okay. But then it paves the way for a parade of fruits that just become a sticky, treacly, berry-focused fruit salad. The sparkly, fresh rose can’t hold her own in all that sugar. It wears lightly for about 5 hours.

i bought jhag discovery kit with 8 different spray vial samples. on my list for miss charming it says rose, tangerine and raspberry are the main ingredients. initial spray on my skin smells like apricots and roses. must be the tangerine. after 90 mins it hasnt changed much. maybe a musky note with the dry down but still roses and apricots. its a sweet fruity pleasant scent. not over sweet or overbearing but i wouldn’t buy a larger bottle. just not my thing.

  27. :

    5 out of 5

this starts off very rosy with a hint of sweetness, then that sweetness becomes very sweet and fruity and the lychee is obvious. it reminds me of the richness of rose mixed with sweetness like lush’s rose jam, however, the musk in this is turning kind of unpleasant with the rose and it’s not as balanced as rose jam seemed to be. unfortunately this rose is too light and this fruit is waaaay too sweet for my personal tastes, and it has a hint of that note of decaying flowers, damn 🙁

  28. :

    4 out of 5

I think this should be considered a musk – with other flavors. But, primarily a musk. As a musk, it is fresh, with rose prominent. For some reason i get oud, although it’s not listed in the notes. Reminds me a bit of Montale’s Roses Elixer.

  29. :

    3 out of 5

Absolutely lovely! The berries and the lychee really prevent Miss Charming from going at all “sour” on my skin. (I have problems with Rose, although I love them.) She is bright and pretty, very slightly powdery, modern and enjoyable.
Miss Charming thankfully doesn’t contain Patchouli (so often paired with Rose) and a typical note in JHAG fragrances. So, if you, like me, are a little ‘scared of Patch, worry not!
This is a great Spring and Summer Rose/Berry scent. I really enjoy it.

  30. :

I love the rose in this, I smell the fruit as citrus-y. It’s a nice balance of floral and fresh. It’s a very modern rose.

  31. :

    4 out of 5

A bright, soapy, powdery rose. Sweet and powdery with a touch of fruit though I can’t make out what it is (guess it’s the lychee although I don’t can’t really make it out, sadly). Becomes more soapy as it dries down – pretty low sillage and longevity. Happy and without any complications. Don’t really have much to say about this one; it’s pretty standard fare. I feel like if you like mainstream fruity florals but want something high end and well put together – or if you want to give a young girl her first perfume and aren’t shy about dropping some dough – get this. Pretty, effervescent, and inoffensive.

Bond Bryant Park’s more wearable sister.
She’s not a younger sister, but she’s a little less aggressive and a little more submissive.
If the rhubarb in BP puts you off, or the patchouli seems like an odd addition, try this. It has the same berry and rose of BP, but instead of rhubarb (which can be sour to some), you get sparkling, cheerful litchi fruit. And there’s no patchouli, no woods.
This is a very well done berry~rose, but not in the lipstick/vintage compact vein; this is all cheer.

  33. :

    5 out of 5

Well…it seems to be good at the beginning. But after 30 minutes it smells like a shampoo or a soap and not the expensive one- roses are gone, litchi strawberries are gone and only musk is left

  34. :

    5 out of 5

Love it. Dewy rose with a spritz of sweet fruit. I recommend this to anyone wanting to try a rose fragrance for the first time. Light, sweet & a little juicy…nothing cloying or old-lady about it. This is Stella’s little sister 🙂

  35. :

    3 out of 5

Ehh…I had high hopes for this one, I thought a rose/lychee/berry combo could never go wrong. But this has a weird freshness to it that I don’t like. It’s like a weird green hand-sanitizer note that makes my stomach turn. Unfortunately, it has awesome lasting power…

  36. :

    5 out of 5

Nothing really wrong with this scent but it smells like Miss Trying Too Hard to me! It’s the fragrance the “teacher’s pet” would wear and it becomes a tad boring and over-sweet to my nose over time with no real development. Miss Charming doesn’t last more than a few hours on my skin either.
Generally,I prefer my roses darker with a bit of a bite to them (Voleur de Roses or Fleurs de The Rose Bulgare.)
I’ll leave this one for the trainee perfumistas.I am too long in the tooth for this baby!

  37. :

    5 out of 5

Perfect, tender rose–sits close to the skin and has a very classic feel. Poor longevity though.

  38. :

    4 out of 5

    The accords list above says:
    fruity
    rose
    tropical
    musky
    sweet
None of these accords appeal to me particularly, I usually go for scents very different from this. I especially hate rose. But whaddya know, I do quite like this. It’s the lychee; which isn’t as sweet as many other fruit accords. Rose is prominent, but I actually don’t mind it here.
Sillage is moderate for me, longevity probably four hours.
I’m going through the JHAG sample set. I won’t buy a full bottle of this just because there are a million I like at least as much as this, but I will enjoy the sample.

  39. :

    5 out of 5

This is a very nice scent and wearable all year round. It smells exactly like Stella even though they have different compositions. Except this one is lighter and not as long lasting. If I had to choose I’d still pick Stella.

  40. :

    5 out of 5

Ahhhh yes I see the comparison to Stella, but only in the beginning. This is all a bout the cold crisp and pure rose. Feminine indeed and light as a feather.
The opening really is quite beautiful.
Unfortunately this goes off in it’s own direction after a while and it’s not a good one. I get a muddied petals kind of feel, and when the fruits take over, this becomes a little bit familiar. Like a floral/fruity we’ve smelled a million times before.
Quite faint too, and doesn’t really go anywhere on the skin. I sprayed quite a bit on my skin also. Charming it is, but not enough to charm the pants off me.
Sorry JHAG, there are better ones in your line!
    🙂

  41. :

    5 out of 5

There’s something dusky and earthy at the back of this, and when you read the JHAG description card and find out that it’s supposed to represent a seemingly innocent, yet not quite so innocent Lolita of a girl, it makes sense. Not that the idea is appealing.
This is a rose/berry scent with a sensual edge. It’s sweet, but a little tart, optimistic yet slightly melancholic. I like it. Citizen Queen remains my favorite from the line, but this is a nice fruity floral featuring more rose than fruit. It’s pretty mild.

  42. :

    4 out of 5

I don’t like it. Rose doesn’t go well with fruit and berries to my nose. I asked my husband what he thought and presented my wrist, and he wrinkled his nose and asked me if I peed on myself! This fume does not like my skin. Glad I just got a small decant.

  43. :

    4 out of 5

This fragrance is one of my most calming fragrances (I’m a rose person, lavender doesn’t do it for me)! I like it better than Stella.
It’s a young berry rose with a clean musk dry down, just wonderful if you love a fruity rose. I would say it was named appropriately as “Miss Charming”, for charming is exactly how I would characterize it.
There is one major issue I have with this fragrance and that is: it doesn’t last worth anything on my skin!! It’s pathetic! I spray it at 7:00am and it’s undetectable by 9:30-10:00am. I don’t know if I’ve had a perfume perform this badly before. The only saving thing is that it lasts when I spray it on my clothes, I get closer to the 5-7 hour longevity that I’m used to from other perfumes I own.
All in all, I love this young, charming fruity rose but I would LOVE it if it lasted at all on the skin

  44. :

    3 out of 5

I’m beginning to think rose is one of my favourite notes. I’ve at least liked every incarnation of it I’ve ever tried, from Frederic Malle’s heavy, dark, incense-heavy knockout Portrait of a Lady to the Body Shop’s straightforward, bright, sweet interpretation, Atlas Mountain Rose. So when I got the chance to buy a little decant of this fruity rose incarnation, I didn’t take much convincing, and sure enough, it’s no exception to the rule: I like it very much.
This rose is a very innocent one. It’s bright and fruity to the point of being girly, but not to the point of being childish. It’s not synthetic or cheap smelling at all (luckily, because that wouldn’t be easy to forgive at this price) – which means it could be worn by women of all ages and in more or less any setting, as long as they’re not trying to seduce anyone (although I guess innocence can be seductive too).
The perfect occassion for this would be a happy, sunny day in spring. It does seem made for an idyllic setting, but lacking that (as daily life mostly does) you coud wear it to your advantage to inject some colour and happiness into a drab day at the office or something. I think this one is very well named, charming is the word for it indeed.
The only gripe I have with it is that it’s pretty weak; it takes at least three or four sprays to be noticeable without smelling my wrist closely, and even then it retreats close to the skin after a couple of hours. That won’t stop me from getting more of this once I finish my little decant, though; it never feels wrong, and that must be why I’ve been reaching for it more than I was expecting this spring and summer.

Fresh, sweet, bright roses with a mild and clean fruity undertone. (I don’t detect any forest fruits, strawberry, or tart berries. Just a faint raspberry-like note, I guess it is the litchi.) Reminds me of Stella 2003, without the overwhelming amber drydown. An uncomplicated, linear, not too heavy, but longlasting rose fragrance, not dark-oriental, nor spikey-green, just simple sweet roses. Charming, indeed. Yes, it isn’t an original composition, but a good rose fragrance with a fruity twist.
Well, I must correct my hasty review above : the fresh, bright roses á la Stella last just for a few moments, and after the drydown all I smell is just a raspberry-rose candy. Too sweet, too girlie, too simple. Not for me.

  46. :

    5 out of 5

If Gaultier’s Ma Dame is a badass punk rock rose, this is a goody two shoes rose. A rose you can bring home to mother. A rose who wasn’t getting drunk and having illicit sex on prom night. A rose who’s a “good influence”.
In other words, totally not me, but very pretty and I like it anyway.

  47. :

Stella? Is that you? Miss Charming smells exactly like Stella, minus the dry down. I find this one to be very linear. If I had smelled Miss Charming first, I would have been in love. Sigh, I guess I’ll just finish off my sample, but I will never feel like I’m wearing anything other than Stella. I’d say, try Stella first, it’s much cheaper. But, if you like the beginning of Stella and can’t stand the dry down go for Miss Charming.

Very pretty. Yes, I also think it is close SM Stella. Lots of rose and then the fruity sweetness. Not really my thing. Poor longevity and quickly becomes a skin scent.

As opposed to some of the other, darker, vampy JHAG’s this one is the sweet innocent…
Lots and lots of sweet roses. I detect the berry
note(s) but the rose dominates on my skin. Imagine rubbing fresh rose petals between your fingers and the soft aroma it leaves… It’s a delicate sweetness.
She stays relatively close to the skin with a slight detection of a charming lady on the breeze.

After trying this a couple times in the JHAG discovery set, it didn’t particularly stand out to me. It was fresher and fruitier than any of the others, but not particularly memorable. (I know now that that is because I’m impatient and greedy with testing scents, so I probably rarely-to-never gave this a proper chance on it’s own and would likely add another layer or two of Lady Vengeance or Mad Madame.) Then I saw a 50 mL bottle for a steal of a price on eBay and figured why not, I could always sell or trade it. I finished up my sample with a proper solo-dousing and OOH YUM what a difference! I would have never chosen this scent for myself, but it’s become super addictive and I get tons of compliments on it. The perfect balance of fizzy-sweet and tart with just enough fresh rose vibes to smooth it out and add a little complexity. I find myself reaching for it more and more as the weather gets nicer, and I’m always delighted when I find the scent lingering on my scarf a day or two later. Sometimes I layer with a little more fresh rose (a la Paul Smith or Theme Bows & Eros) for a slightly different effect but that delicious strawberry-litchi fizz always sparkles through and lives up to the name. Utterly youthful, fresh and charming.
P.S. This is the third or fourth Kurkdjian scent that I have gone mad for, I think I have a full-blown crush!

I think it must be the type of rose used that makes me love this more and more, and that also makes me think of Clinique Happy. They must have used the same type of fresh, sweet rose, as I don’t find that many other similarities, except fruit in general. This one makes me smile, just as Happy used to do when I caught wiffs of it from my friend years ago.
    Update:
Just found a single left over bottle of the “old” version of Stella when I was shopping yesterday, and I definitely see the resemblance. Testing one on each wrist, I would say this is more “sparkling” and juicy though, more as if the first seconds of Stella would just last and last and last.
It actually lasts almost an entire day on me, in sharp contrast to Stella. At least enough so I can enjoy it when sticking my nose to my my wrist. And I do. A lot.

Charming scent with a very appropriate name! At first it is tropical fresh, fruity but not too sweet. Strawberry and berries make this scent light, youthful and summery. After some time it starts to be more floral, rosy, musky. Good choice for you if you are Miss Charming.

I got the sample pack from JHG, and unfortunately tried this for today. It reminds me to another small sample I couldn’t finish for years because it’s so awful, Oriflame Midnight Pearl. I don’t know why, they don’t even have notes in common, but they give me the same impression, I couldn’t tell the difference for the first try… I dislike both, the sharp purple aggressive sweetness. I like rose but I get no rose from this. I will spray on something else to remove it from my nose and smell good.
Not for me. But I’m looking forward to try the rest of the samples nonetheless.
UPDATE: second time, because I never give up: now I get the rose, but it’s still surrounded with much disturbing sweetness, nevertheless I can appreciate it more with the rose in it.

Tried Lady Vengeance, Citizen Queen, Romantina and this. Miss Charming annoyed me. I like roses but I think the combination of litchi and strawberry made this too fruity for me. It has been compared to Dior’s Miss Cherie which I may prefer (that’s saying a lot since I don’t like it). I’ve asked my daughter and hubby – both wrinkled their noses and asked for the next sample. Good, it’s not just me.
    One spray on me
    Sillage: hug circumference
    Longevity: about 8 hours
    Rating: 2/5 disappointing

Sweet rose scent with fruity notes. It’s has that Juliette has a gun vibe to it. I think it’s interesting smelling and outstanding. I like it!
    Charming indeed!

Candied rose. Very sweet at first, almost pear-like (at this point it doesn’t impress me), but becomes more fresh a little later, with some beautiful wild berrie
