Betty Barclay is presenting their new fragrance Beautiful which arrives on the market end of April 2009. This is a perfume which fondles your skin and whispers gently with a floral composition and powdery touch.
Beautiful is a fragrance of a woman, her beauty and individuality. It opens with aromas of mandarin, bergamot and pear zest, which introduce summer fruity freshness in the very beginning of the composition. A heart incorporates blue freesia, gardenia and Brazilian jasmine, which accentuate seductive elegance of aromas. A base is creamy, composed of amber and sandalwood and it rounds up the fragrant composition with a warm and unique embrace.
Modern and elegantly designed siluette flacon presents feminine curves with seductive lines. The pink-beige combination of stylish ornaments decorating the bottle represent naked body covered with lace details, iridescent in grayish nuances. Name of the perfume and logo of the brand are written in dark violet colour.
Face of this fragrance is Wanda Badwal, who tells us in TV advertisement: “You know, you are beautiful“.
Fragrance Beautiful is available in amount of 20ml EDP, 20 and 50ml EDT, 75ml spray deodorant, 200 ml shower cream and 200 ml perfumed body lotion.

It’s gorgeous, at the beginning it feels like something sweet but it lasts only a while. Then it turns into something like pepper for me, some very characteristic accent, like cherry on top. It’s not cheap and trivial, it has that “something” in it that made me love it.
The funny thing is I can’t compare it to any other scent, I’ve been trying many scents from very cheap to expensive classics. In comparison to them, it’s really, really good.

This starts off like a sweet gourmand but then very soon turns into something rather harsh or herbal. I agree that amber comes out very strong. It’s also of poor longlivity and tells you very clearly that its’ a drugstore scent.

I smell vanilla, a bit of incense and some sickly sweet-smelling flowers. Not my cup of tea, but definitely an interesting scent.
