Description

This is a dark, sweet, gourmand scent of Christmas. Caramel – smooth, it touches the skin like satin.

Adoration blends dense heliotrope flowers with sweet, syrupy notes of maple sap and fresh dates. Green galbanum, sharp ginseng and a small doze of citruses stop the syrup layer from dominating, allowing warm spices – clove bud, ginger, pepper – to gradually develop from the heart of the fragrance.

It is available as 100 ml EDP.

    No no
the Opening again kills a would-be nice fragrance – too pungent (that ever so common lime-soaked rubber) and it’s really just meh. Same greeny weirdness; something vegetal and ‘baked’ ?
At any stage in a fragrances life, I want to be at least comfortable with it, not playing a waiting game or questioning things; so no, sorry – these things are over £100 to keep
    My rating: 4/10

actually it is quite risky, if u r the type of guys who like risky perfumes. it is a powerful perfume that it spreads everywhere when you spray it on, after a little while it smells like something burning or burned already and it lasts for a very very long time. the seller sprayed this one on a piece of paper, and that paper was held on my shelf (open to air) for about 2 full weeks, and this smell lasted more than 2 weeks. it is quite strong actually but ONLY to the risky ones.

Mmmmmm – maple, ginger, citrus fruits, heliotrope…. Those notes hint at a beautifully warm, full, well-developed fragrance.
So how on earth did they manage to create something that smells like potatoes?! After the SA gave me the strip to smell, he asked me what I thought. I groped for words, trying to find a kinder way of expressing it, but he beat me to it – “Smells like potatoes, doesn’t it?!”. Raw, sliced potatoes.
There was no warmth that might be suggested by the galbanum and ginger, no slightly thick sweetness one could expect from the maple and dates, no trace of the lovely, full floral smell I associate with heliotrope. I am utterly baffled by this perfume.
Fortunately for me Adoration only lasts about an hour or two on the skin, as do the other perfumes I’ve tested from this line. I’ve asked other people to smell my skin (people who haven’t been around me all day) and they can’t smell the fragrance any more than I can.
Even if I liked the scent, I wouldn’t pay the asking price for something that only lasts a couple of hours.
