Vintage bottle. Zolushka, “Cinderella” in Russian, is a bright, floral fragrance. I could be wrong about the notes, but it reminds me of spring flowers (daffodils?), a hint of roses too, with a sort of clean, citrusy background. Certainly no hint of any cinders! Very pleasant, rather too floral to be called anything but feminine, if we are to follow stereotypes. I like floral notes as long as they are kept contained by moss, woods or herbs. In this case the flowers are unshackled and happily running riot all over the place! So maybe not for me. The dry down is floral soapy rather than what I anticipated which was floral powdery. I think my bottle must be a couple of decades old at least, and the fragrance is still fresh. And the old retro bottle and box design are superb. For me it’s a collectors’ item, rather than something I would wear personally. A lovely experience to test it!
