Sorry but the notes that are listed above are completely wrong. Do you really people smell those notes in this scent? Did you smelt ylang-ylang and jasmine? Because I see already votes WITHOUT ever smelling it. How idiotic this can be?
Zhirinovsky Red ( made by the Jean Jacques Vivier Parfums) is categorized at the spicy-citrus scent.
The notes are:
Top Notes
Bergamot, Cardamon, Pepper
Middle Notes
Grapefruit, Japanese Mandarin
Base Notes
Amber, Cedar, Musc
Zhirinovsky Red is a strong fresh-spicy, citrusy and woody scent for men. It opens with very strong cardamom and bergamot followed by a strong spicy note. After some time, comes to the surface a vivid grapefruit note which is fading out quickly to give its place to a strong cedarwood-amber note with mild musc. The mandarin is very weak. There is also something mild aquatic in it, a presence of water at the background of the spices and the woody notes.
The longevity and the projection are both moderate with 4 sprays. It is a very pleasant scent with a very affordable price for an EDP. I highly recommend it for autumn, spring and cool summer days. They sell it in Russia for 700 rubles, about 11 US dollars in 100 ml EDP bottles.
