i was wearing this earlier to test it and i have to say its dificult for me to wear especially when first sprayed. alot of adams’s fragrances have such animalistic notes that i just can’t tolerate them. eventually it dies down to a sweet wood. it makes me feel like i’m wearing rose infused woodchips. after awhile it just becomes a little too sweetish skin scent that i find ok, not great. like with some of his other fragrances i think a man could wear this easier than i can. it is creamy and well made. you can pick out a lot of the notes, but i really don’t think i will be wearing it again. i will probably give it away.

For a country gentle man-this dry, grassy melange carries my imagination to a very agrarian fantsasy. Warm sunny meadows with abundant flowers! It is optimistic and has all of the ingredients for a day dream.
Ladies can easily wear this as well. Its perfect for working in the garden and walking hand and hand with the one you love! Get some now.

Animalic barnyard leather floral tea…this is what I’m getting from this powerful fragrance. The leather is a very rough natural, what I call, “barnyard leather”…nothing polished or synthetic here. Powerful floral combine with a tobacco and give off what I would describe as tea note. I would say this is a very masculine scent, but the florals really keep this unisex, at least for me. It is a very deep and interesting fragrance and many who enjoy the “powerhouse” fragrances will enjoy this one. Take note all you Azarro Pour Homme lovers. Also evokes Givenchy’s Insense, with its florals and deep herbals. This is definitely natural with a rough edge. No aldehydes here. This is for those who like to get down and dirty!

Zephyr, gentlest of the four winds was the soft summer breeze, the one beseeched by sailors to fill the sails at sea, married to Chloris (goddess of flowers) and lover of Hyacinthus (upon whose death the hyacinth sprang from his blood). His three brothers (east, south and north winds) were all quite dour or savage, but he was the epitome of warmth & life…
This blows out of the sprayer like a warm summer wind, bringing with it greens, warm spices and blossoms. The heart is floral indeed but more like the wind has blown the scent of the flowers all around you; as opposed to, someone hitting you in the face with a full bouquet. The subtle beauty of the flowers in this amaze me! The ylang and hibiscus give it a warm tropical vibe and the other flowers support them. A leather doppleganger indeed-this has no leather or birch tar note but smells amazingly like REAL leather. On drying down the ambergris, ambrette, styrax and tobacco give it a very masculine woody lightly resinous feel, but not so much that a woman could not wear it, as it is lightened by the orris/violet and sandalwood notes, giving it an overall genderless feel and despite all 19 notes in the formula it stays light and airy with a cool leathery finish…
Sillage: good
Longevity: above average
Overall: 4.5/5
I sprayed ONE spray from the sample vial on my arm and touched it to my other arm, and my mom could smell it across the kitchen! This has (like all LJ scents) very impressive projection and duration considering there are no synthetic ingredients. This is a stuning scent: comfortable, smooth and sexy…
