Very lemony, not grapefruity to my nose. It is not spicy like the intense version and it is only slightly sweet. I find it quite pleasant, but very weak, like an eau parfumee.

I submitted a review as “guest” by mistake. After using it for a week or so, I do have a less enthusiastic opinion that I submit now:
Nice fragrance, very discrete but a very glamorous scent.
It opens fresh with citrus notes (bergamotte+grapefruit). It has a very linear evolution with the strong vetiver note showing up after the bergamotte opening and with lesser intense pepper and vanilla showing up as well.
You kind of have those 5 notes for an hour or so before you start to loose the citrus notes.
The shy scent will remain wooddy and spicy for 3 hours. Then it will become a faint skin scent for 1~2 hours more.
In summary you start with a big projection opening but an overall performance under average. On the plus side you get an extreamly pleasant combinations of notes. To cope with that, do spray once after the first 2~3 hours and spray your shirt as well.
The strong vetiver gives you a vibe of a sweeter Encre Noir. I layered with Carven’s Vetiver and the “Lalique” vibe become stronger and similar to Encre Noir Sport due to the bergamot and grapefruit notes. Do not consider it to be a clone of the mentioned Lalique fragrances.
Black Tag is quite versatile to wear it any season, day or night. Remember to spray your shirt for a bigger performance.

Don’t be fooled, Encre Noire Sport is much woodier than this. Yes, similarities are there. Yes, at a certain point in time they will smell the same. But one is not a replacement for the other.

This one smells really good, normally i dont like zara fragrances but this one is the exception.
Great sillage and longevity!
This one is my signature scent… 100% recommended.

This is a very nice and inobtrusive one. Works fine even if you overdo it. Still, don’t.
It is something I could see myself wearing whenever, wherever.
It’s really clean, but not clinically clean. You know, spring day, a bit of wind, sunny, not overly warm and some nature surrounding you…. That vibe.
Also, when compared to Encre Noire, I think that’s going in a whole different direction. Encre Noire is more serious. Imagine a man who’s been through a lot and is not smiling but is inviting in a fatherly way.
This one is a man who’s been through a lot but is gently smiling. He might be 20 or 50 and it doesn’t matter. He’s still young and cheerful.

When I first sprayed it, I thought of Encre Noir instantly. It’s that kind of wet vetiver. It’s much stickier though in texture than Encre. And soon, unlike Encre, a fresh, citrusy or green vibe comes to the fore that reminds me mood-wise of CH 212, and maybe they even share a note. It’s that outdoorsy smell that to me is the same in spirit as a day at the football or the cricket.
Anyway I like both those scents I used as references for this, so unsurprisingly I like this too. It’s in the unoriginal but decent and cheap category.

I got a chance to have a spray on my hand, opening a light citruss and then became a powdery scent. I mostly remember with Burberry Touch for Men, yes… that’s it. Longevity and Sillage are moderate for me.
If you like a soft powdery scent, you should take a try.
