This is a very well blended and predominantly floral scent. Not that the fruit hides away. Oh no. The pear sorbet and citron are the stars of the show, but the florals are a huge chorus of backing dancers with apricot shoes on.
There’s also something creamy and custardy in this that makes my mouth water. And I’m sure I smell evening primrose, too. It’s one of those scents that has you repeatedly inhaling at your arm to try and decipher the delicious smell…I’m doing it as I type!

Got a travel size set with the shower gel, body lotion, and mini. It’s starts off smelling like Daisy, but as it dries down, it ends up smelling like Acqua di Gioia after the mint note has worn off. If you like the afore mentioned perfumes, then you will enjoy this.

I keep seeing reviews saying this smells like MJ Daisy, but I’ve never smelled it for myself. I own Daisy and don’t care for the bitter drydown. Does Yellow Diamond Intense really smell like Daisy? Maybe it will smell like how I wanted Daisy to smell lol. I want to blind buy but I’m scared to because I don’t want to end up with a Daisy dupe.

this relative of mine has just a few perfumes but she cant name them, she sprays forgets it and goes.
I cnat tell if this is the one she has and the one I am looking for.
sparkly, fresh, sort of warm – sunny rather than creamy soft warm, floral but not thick, theres a glass or something running through it, don’t know what it is, it takes out that fresh sweet combo that you smell a lot, it has depth. the edt is nice too but doesn’t take on my skin so not worth the price

This one is an inoffensive yellow floral fruity scent. It is stronger and a bit different than the Yellow Diamond. I somehow feel it smells of coconut and pear initially, more fruity than floral. Later it changes to more floral notes with time. I like it but I prefer the original Yellow Diamond smell but that has no lasting power. I have a small miniature bottle and don’t feel the urge to go and a get a big bottle. There are far better perfumes out there.

Something reminds me of stale/dank water in here…not sure why I find some aquatic fragrances so off putting. Maybe it’s my skin turning it? Anyway, this is inoffensive and would be great for the office but I don’t like the smell on me. I bought it blind at Ross because I really do like Crystal Noir and Bright Crystal – try on skin before you buy.

I really like this juice yes it’s loud and ovensibe at the beginning but give it time and yellow diamond will lay you down on a bed of white flowers in a Arabian yellow silk tent and where your handed a pear from a hot guy(smokin hot Tom Ford on my vision) and when you not into it the sweet6 at juicy pear releases its manificent sweet sensual aroma umm ummm. I have to admit I did not like yellow diamond, for me the mimosa was to loud and the citrus was lacking. For this reason I avoided YD intense for far too long.
I am now a proud owner of this beautiful little yellow gem! Citrus is the total star in this and floral are somewhat in the background, making it softer, warmer and more tender, which I love. Lovely summer fragrance, lemon, pear and light white florals. Yum!

this one is more floral than the original yellow diamond. and with more sillage. i can feel orange blossom, neroli and pear. it is stronger than yellow diamond. longevity is 5-6 hours in my skin.

I love Yellow Diamond edt so I was curious about this jewel. I was worried about this being too white flowery. Starts with citrus and pear quite like edt does. After the beginning I get some flowers and quite soon -BOOM! The woodiness hits like a hammer. It must be guaiac wood, I can’t name it for sure. Strong pale wood smell that runs over all the other notes and makes it unbearable.
I have to stick to Original Yellow Diamond.

This is my third Versace fragrance. The thing I love about Versace is all of there fragrances are completely different to one another unlike Gucci Marc Jacobs and D&G who go through stages of knocking 5,6,7 slightly different variations of the same fragrance out. Versace is therefore a very refreshing brand compared to the others. I bought this one at the airport a couple of weeks ago. I was also considering Burberry body edp but decided against that one as it has a sort of boozy b.o scent on my skin. Versace intense yellow diamond for me is refreshing and revitalising scent it is a citrus but a sophisticated citrus it has a degree of class about it. One does not simply smell like sticky citrus fruit sweets or a sherbet lemon wearing this scent. It has a floral somewhat woody sweetness about it. I get lemon, pear, sandalwood and some other complexity of notes which I cannot identify. For me this is a morning perfume and would make a very good work perfume as it is awakening refreshing and gives an inspiring get up and go feel to it. I really like this fragrance it is a beautiful classy fresh Autumn scent and I feel motivated and in control when I wear it. Most people would prefer this for spring or summer, but as I’ve said before when reviewing other citrus perfumes for me, citrus perfumes work best in Autumn when there’s a cold bite in the air and a nippy breeze, this is when such fragrances are at their best and smell wonderfully ripe and work to their full potential.

Summery, sweet oranges. Smells like California orange groves. This is one of my favorite natural scents and although it’s not 100 percent accurate to the real thing, it’s not bad. Yellow Diamond opens with orange blossom and an all the citrusy notes of citron and bergamot. If you like oranges, proceed. The citrus is like orange juice in the summer on a hot day. I love that. Smells really fresh and energizing. The flowery smells include freesia, which was the one flower that I could detect as being the strongest, plus a little white floral touch of jasmine. This fragrance dries down to an amber and a little touch of wood. It’s also got a creamy benzoin. This is really nice and perfect to wear in 80’s 90’s degrees weather. I enjoy wearing these type of summer fragrances. It reminds me only slightly of Lady Million by Paco Rabanne and more like So Pretty by Cartier.

I went to the mall to sample versace bright crystal absolu as I read many good reviews about the perfume. However there was one note in bright crystal (I tested the original and absolu) that I dislike. I saw yellow diamond and thought why not give it a try?
I LOVE IT! I never thought I would like this one but I love it!
It’s fresh, sharp and airy. Longevity is 6-8 hours on skin, longer on clothes (I sprayed it on my scarf in the morning, can still smell it two days later).
New favourite!

When I put this Diamond on I feel an incredible surge of energy a boost for the whole day ahead. Such an exhilarating smell; sparkling, sunny, sensual and yet refreshing!
Nobody knows better female forms than Versace brand does ; its clothes as well as its perfumes are fashionable, feminine, sophisticated and sexy, though, a bit clingy sometimes.
But you’ll definitely revel in this scent if you love it, if not- you couldn’t help, as it lasts as long as it lasts. And it worth every penny, as the wood is precious here, holy! It tingles and teases you with such a playful , green fuzziness.
Nothing is opaque about this aroma, no darkness, no smokiness; it’s warm, clear and clean citrusy-woody-floral composition, where freesia is shining gloriously to my great delight here.
Even if the bottle is a little bit bulky, it’s mesmerizing somehow, especially the stopper that looks like an UFO- the Beauty from the different dimension.
Definitely, this is the Diamond for the rising star. Supernova! Superb!
PS. This flanker is a great replacement of my, unfortunately, nearly empty bottle of “Wood Velvet Forest Wood” by Dsquared2; the same vibe but without pine and patchouli accords DI sounds less Unisex, and rather smooth and feminine because of the addition of a sweet pear note to it.

Edit: If you take away the Rose note from “My Burberry” by Burberry, you’ll have the scent very reminiscent of “Diamond Intense”, in my humble opinion indeed.

Oh this is so wonderful! If there ever was a “sunny floral”, this would be it. It opens with a fresh burst of citrus and quickly morphs into a springy floral with a woody/musky dry down. Even though it is juicy and vibrant, it is heavy and sticky at the same time. Kind of like bright yellow corduroy pants. They may look like skimpy summer pants from afar but if you look really close, you’ll see a velvet-like, clinging texture hiding behind the sunny color. This perfume is like that. It has 8+ hours staying power and the projection fills the room so it needs to be applied with a light hand.
Ps: I agree with the reviewers who said this is a stronger version of the original. If you liked it but found it too light, this flanker might just be perfect for you.

My mother wears this so I have nice associations with it, but the oddest thing when it comes to YDI, is the overwhelming scent of melon! After the perfume has settled, all I can smell is melon- which isn’t in the composition at all. Looking over this page, I’m wondering if it might be pear that I’m mistaking for melon, but either way- I’m not really a fan, and wouldn’t wear this.

I absolutelly love the original so I was very excited to try this one, and maybe make the switch. Tried it on and I don’t like it. I think it really is not similar in any way to the original. To me is waaaay strong, only got one spray and I can still smell it big time (4 hours later and afer I washed it off with some water and soap). I also feel it more mature and less fresh than the original. like more of the white flowers come trough in this one and very little citrus, I don’t feel is suited for younger audiences because it is very very strong, but the again, to each their own. I’m a bit dissapointed, I wanted to like it, but I had to wash it off (didn’t really wash off). I cant imagine myself wearing it, since I notice it can have the potencial to give me headaches. It also reminds me of another scent but can’t remember which one, so I must say it is also not very original. I’ll stick with the normal Yellow Diamond.

Like a potent love potion, I fell hard for this one. Yellow Diamond Intense brings to mind the Lady of the woods every myth, legend and tale tell us about. Hauntingly beautiful, she bewitches everything in her path.
White florals tempered by benzoin and woods exude an air of mystery without being dark. Seductive in its brightness and luminosity, this gem is truly is one of a kind. Sweet but not cloying…Pear, freesia and jasmine dominates but does not overpower the other notes in the composition. While having a bit of body compared to the original Yellow Diamond it maintains an airy quality throughout. Versatile as it is both warm and cold weather scent. Overall, I would describe it as milky / woody white floral. Lasts for ages with a heavy sillage. I’ve been bathing with compliments everytime I am wearing it. Compliments coming not just from the ladies but mostly from men. I’d say definitely worth the money spent.

I was out shopping today and tried this on. It was lovely at first with the nice pear, jasmine and citris notes then it morphed into something rather sharp to my senses. I believe it was the heavily concentration of citrus? Perhaps the freesia? Maybe both? It dryed down to a more calm and wonderful scent and I love it. I may be getting this. The longevity is 7+ hours and the sillage is heavy..

To my nose, it’s totally different now – it’s young, clean, fresh, very feminine and flirtatious.
