It’s a sharp citrus-based scent, nothing spectacular, certainly nothing bad either. For $7-$10 you can hardly go wrong. You won’t find yourself wearing this juice very often, but will certainly grab it every now and then, particularly on a sunny, Spring / Fall day. It’s certainly casual and doesn’t take itself too seriously. It’s slightly synthetic and doesn’t last long, @ 1-3hrs. Overall, it’s a decent buy, particularly accounting for the price, certainly nothing earth-shattering nor utterly unique, but it’s good for an after shower spritz or a spring day running errands, etc.

Has that cheapy vibe to it as well as Yacht Man Blue. I liked this scent, but found it too familiar to keep. It reminded me of Millionaire or one of those older mens colognes. If I want this type of smell, I will just stick with my Azzaro Pour Homme..

A man with a plan, a big one. The smell of money as you make it. A lovable rogue in an all-white tuxedo. Class, elegance, distinction, the drive towards excellence. A sense of the unique, a most delicious surprise! Okay, now I’ll get serious, but I thought at least one “cheapo” such as this scent deserved the kind of linguistic nonsense that the “big boys” often receive. Here’s the “real review:”
The “citrus” here is not sharp and doesn’t really come across as a specific fruit. The spice seems to be a touch of pepper. There is something that seems “woody,” but it’s mild, and there’s an ambery presence, which I guess is why so many think it is similar to Victory League by Adidas (which is more complex and syrupy). It’s a really basic scent that’s pleasant, and of course the prices are very low (my 100 ml bottle was less than $3). I can actually envision myself wearing this, on days when I know I won’t have time to pay much attention to the scent but do know I’ll be in the presence of a lot of others. Clearly, good for school, work, and other such places. This is another example of why recent designers are generally such a waste of money, IMO, because so few are significantly better or more interesting than this one!

This stuff is actually a great value for the money. It smells a lot like other much more expensive colognes, (Chanel comes to mind) but yes as others have stated – it lacks longevity. I use it (liberally) on clothing in travel bags, the car, etc. because it’s so inexpensive. Dry down smell as well as wet is fantastic. Will buy again.

Honestly, for the price you get a lot for your money…
Nice safe gentle fresh musky fragrance that is perfect for office wear or even after a day in the garden or a session in the gym. Lovely bottle to have.

I found this on sale for $5. It must cost that much to produce the attractive container this fragrance comes in. For $5 I just had to pick it up a find out what sprays out. However I first pulled out my Iphone and went on line to this site to see if there was a consensus on it being vile. Being that it wasn’t I handed over a Lincoln and took it home. The notes listed are quite correct, a generic musk – citrus -spice -wood scent. Musk and citrus dominate. Nothing intriguing or special at all but a nice scent none the less. I can recommend Yacht Man Metal for application after an evening shower before bed (if there is nothing erotic palnned, that is). It could be a good starter fragrance for a young man starting to use fragrances who is a bit apprehensive about it as there is nothing too overly assertive here but it still is an easily indentifiable men’s fragrance that I wouldn’t deem too unisex. Hopefully he would then move on to more original, artful and sophisticated fragrances. This fragrance has poor projection and little longeveity which again make is a safe choice for someone somewhat ambivilent about wearing a too noticable fragrance.

Got this as a gift in 2008..I did get a Boss bottled dry down vibe while using it.. Its a cool n warm spicy fragrance ..Later I used to spray it on clothes before packing them and used to enjoy the light fragrance when unpacking my bags . Victory league from Adidas surely smells like this…To me it also smelled unisex as the citrus notes are light…

A sweet, spicy, leather smell.
One of the best fragrances I’ve ever smelled in its price range & I bet if this had a designer name on it, it would be massively more popular.
Ignore the notes you see here. Like many other low-end fragrances, the notes here are very broad, almost a “guess”.
If you get the chance, sample this.
It reminds me, & this is a far but honest shot, of a sweeter, more leathery YSL’s La Nuit de L’Homme, although flatter & more synthetic. Don’t get you hopes high, this is a moderately far similarity.
Just try it & judge.

About 8 years after owning this fragrance multiple times, I finally figured out the perfect description of how it smells:
Acqua Di Gio + Spices & Leather

I think this is the best out of the Yacht man line up, it is sweet and bold all in one. The price is great, i bought mines for under $20 bucks for a 3.4. will recomend. Good fragrance to wear on a night cap with friends or that significant other. I give it a 8 out of 10….

A nice summer breeze scent. Lots of citrus and musk. I don’t reach for it but it lasts 4 hours. What more do you want for a 10 dollar frag? Very inoffensive and better than some of the Gucci releases for sure. It won’t dazzle you but for the price it’s kinda hard to complain.
vitaliikacov – :
was well impressed by the way it smells but not so with its longevity….im now lookin for a similar smell but with way more longevity and silage!any advice is welcomed….
affedePen – :
In my honest opinion, it smells like Chanel Allure Sport with suntan lotion in it.
When I want my place to smell like CAS, I just spray this instead of spraying my expensive bottle of Chanel. I might of gotten it for under 10 bucks…..but pass!

My first impresion was : well, nothing new under the sun…
This fragrance is really nice but nothing beyond that. Musk, powdery with a bit of citrus.
Yesterday I bought Tous Man, and in my opinion they share the similar dry down, except that tous fragrance has more character and is a little more complex.

Okay. I bought this because I got it for $5. The bottle looked pretty awesome and high quality for only $5. I figured this would be a disappointment because of the price. Boy was I wrong. This stuff smells awesome. Very clean and professional. I do get the spicy citrus notes and it gets musky on the Drydown. Again, amazing scent VERY impressed. Guys, buy this one it’s worth it. I would say I wear this at least twice a month, more in the summertime.

A Great Cologne To Have. Reminds Me Of Curve Crush Which I Also Have. But Definitely One Of My Favorites.
Silowek – :
This smells exactly like Chanel Allure Homme Sport.. the citrus fades away into the musk & spice pretty fast. it has that synthetic vibe to it.. not long lasting but it leaves behind a faded spicy musky tinge
OlegZH – :
I have it. Loved yachtman perfumes (red and blue) and thought it will be good similarly. But it is not as good as others initially. My wife loves it and she can smell after 8-10 hours.
una504intitytek – :
Just recieved a bottle of this, tried it on my hands, full of musk and light top notes of citrus. I was looking of a more of citrus. Currently wearing polo black, would try this again tomorrow and then update as I think notes from both the fragrances are mixing into each other.
Edit: When I wear it on myself, I don’t get any aqua di gio similarity, though a fellow collegue used to wear it and he smelled so much like adg. The top notes are similar to Adidas victory league I believe. The perfume has a very low longivity. A few hrs max with massive spraying on my body and shirt. Not a bad perfume though, neither lovable. Would not buy again.

I smelled this on a colleague , it reminded me of Acqua di gio. I immediately ordered it online. Waiting for it to be delivered. Also it costs a fraction of the price.
Lets see how this comes out to be.
