Having had the privilege of spending springtime for the first 20 years of my life in the presence of an incredible, densely flowered, lushly foliaged specimen of wisteria, 60+ years old at the time and covering two dozen square metres of pergola, I’ve a profound & nostalgic attachment to the sweet & heady scent of this enchanting vine, blooming on a balmy late spring night.
Granted it is nigh impossible to capture such an intoxicating fragrance in a bottle, I am well impressed with this effort. And though I would not wear the cologne, I do find it lovely on others whom it suits and I enjoy the soap of the same from Acca Kappa for myself as an escape to another time… truly a fragrance full of memories… à la recherche du temps perdu… an eau for relaxation & respite, tea time, evening strolls, and tenderness.
