Description

Kate Moss is presenting a new fragrance Kate Moss Wild Meadow, as a limited edition for the upcoming spring and summer, in cooperation with Coty. Harmonic composition of the new edition introduces warm and cheerful nuances lit with spring rays of sun. The new limited edition is inspired by unique beauty of English landscapes at dawn, which Kate Moss has loved since always. Freshness, beauty, purity and strength of aromas are captured and formed with gentle notes of the limited fragrance Wild Meadow.

Wild Meadow is the first fragrance is series of limited fragrances to be presented on the market. They are inspired by regions Kate Moss traveled through. Each of the fragrances introduces characteristic aromas of various continents, framed with impressions, colours and fantasies… Wild Meadow was created in cooperation with Shyamala Maisondieu of Givaudan.

Wild Meadow is a white floral fragrance surrounded with green leaves full of freshness. The fragrance reflects dawn in Cotswords, central England, landscape which has a special place in Kate Moss‘ heart. Subtle nuances of wild meadow leave an impression of carelessness, relaxation, silence, tranquility, harmony. Top notes start with luminous freshness of pink grapefruit and bergamot refreshed with fruity notes of vineyard peach. A heart is floral and harmonic, created with an intention not to accentuate any particular flower, but to make all floral ingredients sound like a bouquet picked from a fragrant meadow. Aromas of rose, magnolia and honeysuckle line up and finish with a base of apple wood, benzoin and amber.

Flacon is elegant and made of glass, available as 30ml EDT. Its cap is also made of glass. Perfume liquid is coloured in light green, which symbolizes freshness of nature and birth of spring. Black rose is Kate Moss‘ trademark and it can be found on the flacon together with pink roses. Outer carton is white, which suggests peace and purity of English landscapes in early morning hours. The package was designed by Lutz Herrmann and Logique Design, while advertising photos are a work of Craig McDean.
Wild Meadow was launched in 2010.

Such a delight of a fragrance! I’ve had this for a while and used it while on holiday beginning of 2016, but allowed it to languish and forgot about it after. Though it’s cold-ish right now, I sprayed on a bit this morning and I am reminded of how simple and beautiful it is. Funny thing is that I cannot off-hand remember it’s description (even in my own head), but it’s light and floral. It may not be the most outstanding fragrance, but it’s got a unique simplicity that’s comforting, and it doesnt smell like a blast of sharp chemicals. Really loving this!

Tart and juicy, like a green apple, yet lighter, like the blossom above. No strong sweetness weighing it down. It’s simple and lifts my spirits to a carefree place above the trees.

This is really lovely: dewy, cool, pastoral, calming. Refreshing to start but not too bracing, it mellowed so gently. There is a light fruitiness to the floral, which I’ll buy as apple blossom; the dry down gave me a Lacoste pour Femme vibe and I thought perhaps of heliotrope, but it’s not listed. I can’t pick out many of the specific notes, but found it to fit the name perfectly. Sillage was modest, longevity over 6 hours and still quite present. Very pretty.

I want to say Wild Meadow smells like apple blossom. The notes list indicates apple wood though so maybe it’s a combination of apple wood and magnolia?
This is a polite, fresh fragrance. Ideal for spring. Casual, but pretty. I purchased it because it’s already in the 70’s here and I’m anticipating a disgustingly hot summer ahead.
Overall impression is a soft but crisp floral with a fresh woody base. I don’t really detect much citrus. Maybe the tiniest bit of bergamot.

Wild Meadow is like a field of flowers, quite lovely! It’s a cute, happy scent. It’s spring in a bottle! It’s fizzy, and it does smell like a meadow. It’s fizzy, flowery, and lightly green.
The bottle with it’s light green juice and pink flowers fits the the scent perfectly.I think it’s designed to look like a bottle of nail polish. Kate has done it once again, love it.

i bought this as a blind buy – when i first sprayed it on, the smell was terrible it just smelled like alcohol but leave it a minute or two and the floral notes start to come through, i sprayed it on my wrist at 10am(GMT) this morning and at 3.20pm(GMT) i can still smell it, so it’s a good lasting perfume, but it is a soft subtle smell.

I like the fragrance : soft and fresh, unfortunately it doesn’t last long…

Amazing green floral scent. Reminiscent of flower fields and crisp grass scent.
This scent brings about many great childhood memories, playing in the country at my grandparents whose house was surrounded by vast fields of flowers and tall grass. Such a great creation!
    It brings nature fullswing.
    Drydown is lighter floral fruity.
2-3 hours of silage, wish this part was better, but for the price I’ll take it as is.

I had a bottle. I like the fragrance, it’s better than original “Kate” and builds an image in my mind.
It’s good to wear in summer, autumn, spring can be good too.
The fragrance is like a walk between fruit trees and they’re mature, close to fall down. The scent is green-light brown, amber is well detectable, so are benzoin and honeysuckle.
Lasting power is OK, I could smell it easily for about 6 hours. Perhaps I’ll repurchase it.

A fun watery citrus floral. It’s very simple, almost in a flowers-in-her-hair hippie way, and for that, it’s almost perfect for Kate Moss in some of her wilder roles. I didn’t expect to like this, but the clean floral citrus is great for hot days, very spring-like. Not complicated or elegant, but pretty, fresh and straight forward.

For a person who lived in a tropical country this smells so good, so green and so fresh. It’s like smelling the leaves after the rain. It blends nicely with my skin. I only had one bottle and it’s out already. I tried looking for it again and now, it’s nowhere to be found. So sad that I only bought one bottle of it.
My boyfriend looves me in this,, he cant stop smelling me 🙂
    Definitely a win!!!

I don’t even know what to say about this one. Very average and not appealing.

I love the coolness of this perfume, it is like a frozen lipstick at start.
Then gets greener while still maintaining the “pretty” status. It is perfect for days when you wear mismatched clothes and need something to connect what you are wearing. This is the connection.
I still regret not buying it when I saw it months ago. Too bad my country does not have these.

It is not an extraordinary scent which will blow your mind but I like its simplicity. It’s perfect for sunny summer days when you want to take a walk.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t last long on my skin.

For me the opening and middle of Wild Meadow smell very similar to Marc Jacobs Daisy, which I’m quite fond of. The notes are well blended, I don’t pick up peach (unless it’s a green one) or any flowers specifically without really stretching to find them.
Nice, relatively light, a little tart and green. It sweetens and softens in the dry down when the apple wood and amber come out. Lasting power on myself was just o.k., around 3 hours.
Overall very pleasant, wish it lasted longer.

I bought this perfume on a whim 3 days ago without smelling it, bargain price at £15 for 30ml. Smells lovely and glad I bought it. Shame its only Limited Edition!

It’s a very delicate spring fragrance, with almost no sillage but quite an impressive staying power, which develops very nicely and comes through all its phases just in the right time …
I don’t like the original much, I prefer this one.
The top notes (citruses mostly) last for a quarter or so. Then the flowers come – the most prominent for me is magnolia – light and airy. I don’t get much rose or honeysuckle (I don’t know how the latter smells in nature). But the drydown is the best part … one of the best ones I smelled recently. Woody, dry, ambery, lightly oriental. Similar to the smell of young soil in the spring when the grass begins to green. Reminds me of Bvlgari Black and Kenzo Vintage. Great!
Ambitious one! Not another flanker smelling pretty much the same as the original.
And I like it more than someother new releases …
+ this bottle with light green liquid and flowers – spring has come!
    Thumbs up for Kate 🙂
    update:
on skin it smells just very average … green and transparent, from the beginning to the end. I didn’t get flowers or drydown :
