I received this perfume yesterday…I love it! It’s much more sour and effervescent than the gourmand type bottle would suggest, yet I feel like it still fits the design of the bottle quite well.
The first thing I get from it is sour, sparkling, fresh limeade. Made with bubbly mineral water. Hardly sweet at all, very refreshing. After a while my limeade gets some blackberries in it, not super sweet ones though. This stays sour and fresh even after the berries arrive.
I’m wearing this now, right out of the shower, with some cut-off short shorts, a black tank, and bright pink lipstick. It fits this perfume perfectly. This is a more sophisticated, street smart, almost grunge version of a teenage girl’s fruity/sweetly perfume. This is the preppy girl who used to listen to Britney Spears and wear Fantasy in middle school who’s 22 now and has some worldly wisdom. She wears grunge clothing and appreciates esoteric music, but deep down she still has a little of who she once was tucked away inside.
This stays pretty much the same all the way through, though it does become a little sweeter and more berry-y as it dries down. It becomes a skin scent as it dries, about an hour after application, but stays tenaciously for several more hours.
Edit: I’m also getting violets, raspberry, and cassis now.

    Drink me.
I feel as though I’ve fallen right through the rabbit hole with this lovely, sparkly tonic. I’m torn between visions of sweetiepea’s chalky violet and lilac candies ( although I think of purple (violet) and orange (lilac) jujubes) and a bubbly lime berry soda. This is just utter happiness to me, and if it lasted a bit longer and projected a bit more it may have made my top 5. Still, I thoroughly enjoy this and wouldn’t think twice repeat purchasing it.

I was pleasantly surprised when I tried this. I was expecting something like a fresh, sweet, Victoria’s Secret type berry body spray, but it was far from that. Initially I found the blackberry and raspberry notes very light, fresh, slightly sparkling, but soon the berries began to fade and the lilac emerged. I think the previous reviews are a bit misleading because although the scent is quite fresh and fruity upfront, you have to wait a little bit for it to develop, and when it does, it’s a whole different story. The lilac emerges in full force. The drydown is very powdery and to me smells exactly like those soapy/chalky violet candies in the purple foil wrapper, except instead of violet, it’s made with lilac. I literally felt like I was biting into one of those candies. For that reason, I found the scent quite nostalgic and it was pleasantly unexpected. The longevity is average, and sillage is average (somewhat better than Bloody Orange, but not by too much). Overall, I find the scent quite creative, although not really what I had expected!

I tried this on at Urban Outfitters today. Surprisingly, I really like it. I smell lots of blackberry and the effervescence of soda. For some reason, it makes me smile. Might have to get this one.

Well I received this for Christmas much to my delight and the bottle and packaging are to die for even if the top of it is fiddly to get back on…..
The initial burst of berry is strong but I like it as it starts to settle I can smell the lilac and lime it I though it was going to be extremely sweet just going on the packaging but I was wrong. It is a beautiful fruity sweetness that is just right.
I would say that the juice is way more grown up than its cutesy packaging says it is.

The smell was first a ripe, lush berry (first like 10-15 seconds)–and this excited me greatly–but then it became a mess of fragrance that I couldn’t sort.It settled down after a few more minutes (about 3-4), and I could more clearly detect the citrus elements, most notably the lime with a hint of bathroom cleanser lemon. The combination reminds me of lemon-lime soda (like Sprite) with berries and musk in the background. There is a slight powdery nature to the fragrance and the vanilla, on me, smells plastic. Also, I don’t get much overt floral tones. This scent doesn’t have the same projection as a couple of the other fragrances in the line. My overall impression is “meh”. I won’t be reaching for this fragrance very often, or ever.
Note: I did not keep this on as long as the other reviewer. After a half hour this started to bother my head and I had to wash it off.

Very sweet perfume. It smells like berry and lilac frosting (if there is such a thing). I sprayed once in the crook of my arm and it lasted 4 hours. Sandalwood is all I could get in the drydown. This is probably the only perfume out of the collection that its bottle matches the scent.
