Very pretty smell! Floral, musky and a bit sweet. Unfortunately super low sillage and longevity. I just spray this after a shower for a short-lived clean feel 🙂 but I think for this cost you can get some much better branded perfumes which are on offer.

This such a gorgeous scent. I have 6 bottles of the 30ml EDP that I bought in the Body Shop sale for £2.00 each, and a 100ml EDT that I bought off an auction site for £9.99. The EDP is for me the best as from the opening spray the sweet rose evident and the almond and musk follow shortly after. The EDT has a blast of something, and the sweetness of the rose isn’t there. I now go for the oils/EDP in any of the Body Shops scents as the EDT’s are too watery/thin on fragrance that dosnt last a couple of hours.

I only like subtle musks and this is on the subtle side. I wasintrigued by the Turkish delight note, I have Smoky Rose which is just as sweet but less musky. I enjoy both, Musk Libertine as it has low to moderate sillage and is slightly cookie ish, having a cinnamon sugar cookie type undertone.
My one aunt used to wear a yummy musk in the late 80s I never could figure out what but this is the closest to it I have found. This also reminds a bit of an old Bath and Body works scent called Frosted Snowdrop.
All in all, a light polite slightly youth and musk for people who don’ke heany musks and prefer them to be less animalic.

Oh wow! I love this! I have been wearing White Musk Midnight Iris for a few days and I thought that one was my favorite body shop white musk scent but this one is incredible! Just as you would think from the notes, it’s turkish delight + musk. I think the silage is perfect, any stronger and it might get cloying and be too much. This is one of the better Turkish delight scents I have come across, very true to the notes: you can smell every ingredient, the rose, the honey, the almond and the whipped cream. It’s dreamy, creamy, sweet, powdery and sinful. What a shame it’s discontinued! I could only buy the EDT it seems the EDP is already very hard to find.

This fragrance is like a cozy blanket. I actually like to wear it when I’m unwell, it’s so comforting and doesn’t make me feel nauseous. It’s sweet, floral and powdery – the word that I feel best describes it is ‘fluffy’! It’s a shame they discontinued this one, and I’ll be sad when I finish my bottle. I haven’t really smelt anything else like it.

Found a new old stock unused bottle at a bargain shop this weekend! When I smelled it, it made me smile. It was so soft and lovely. I wrapped it in my fist and said, “I’m getting this”! Been spritzing it around ever since.

This scent reminds me of marshmallows, a blue sky with a few fluffy clouds, chirping birds, clean laundry hanging in the wind. It’s a very carefree, inocent scent to me.
It’s musky and sweet, but not sickly sweet. The airiness of musk makes it lighter. There’re many musky sweet fragrances out there to make it unique, but I have yet to find another fragrance that evokes me such lighthearted picture. Whenever I wear it, I feel like walking on cushions. I’m using it as my happy scent at the moment, since I think it suits well the end of summer and the beginning of fall, when everything isn’t yet melancholic. It’s well suited for spring as well, but I wouldn’t wear it during winter nor summer. The projection is moderate during the first 3 hours or so, and the longevity is quite great. I get about 6 or 7 hours of bliss.
It’s long discontinued as far as I know, but I’ll enjoy it until its last drop.

Not bad if u love/like rose.
On me too cloying ( by lack of another word, it’s the rose, we rarely go along, rose + me)
Actually, I recomand it, if u like rose ( + musk). The combo is quieet original.

Sweet Turkish delight with fluffy whipped cream on top! Honey and Rose melts in along the way. Playful, sweet, edible smelling, dries down powdery.
    Not to forget. It’s discontinued.

This is a sweet Turkish delight scent. I love to eat Loukhum every now and then, the standard rose variety – it is gooey, light pink, rose-flavoured almond stuff, dusted with finely milled sugar. This is excactly how this perfume smells. If anything, it smells a bit more flowery than the real sweet, which is nice. It will surely appeal to people who also like Viva La Juicy or La vie est belle – it has the same wannabe-sexy sweetness that is so en vogue right now, while being a tad more subtle, more reserved than the fragrances mentioned, so perhaps better suited for family gatherings than for party nights.
We are currently experiencing a very grey and dreary spring, and this is my Easter fragrance of choice for this weather: light in tone but sweet, lasting power average, strength decent (and its basenotes nicely cling to my shirt). It reminds me of a present wrapped extravagantly in foil, topped with glitter and a giant pink bow with a lot of extra stuff going on, little stars and roses and silver decorations. There is not much substance behind it, but if you open the present, there is delicious turkish delight in there, and what more can you want?

It smells just like lipstick to me. Creamy, a little floral and a little sweet.
I wish tbs would bring this back. It’s so feminine, and its soft but present.

YUM!! This is very exotic, I could imagine walking through a market in Morocco on a very warm humid day wearing this, it’s lovely. The Turkish delight is quite prominent to me along with a sweet Rose, it quite surprised me, I didn’t expect much, the Body Shop fragrances usually disappoint me rather than excite me but this is really a lovely perfume, reminds me a bit of Al Rehab Africana oil but with lots of lovely sweetness added in, very wearable in warmer months I think.

If I didn’t know anything about the notes I would say it’s a musky, juicy, peachy rose. My mouth was watering upon first application!
The white musk is super smooth, iris-like, very powdery. Super-fine, like confectioners’ sugar. There is a milky note here. Combined, it’s the icing on a cake. A Fatty, nutty note along with soapy aldehydes gives me the impression of airy, whipped mousse. This in turn was piped into a glass of sticky, very sweet honey and then Garnished generously with fragrant rose petals and a hint of spice. I think the style of this is more in keeping with an oriental.
It’s surprisingly deep and for a limited time it smells rich. Very pretty and delicious! This can be worn during the day in summer or spring.
    I like this!

Starts off by smelling strongly like a cheap soap bar, but give it one hour and it becomes something musky, vaguely sweet and pleasant. Fades to nothing after about 3 hours.

Originally I bought EDP version (made in France) and it was too much. Too sharp opening (it must be musk+honey, but it felt like aldehydes), too much cream in the dry-down. It was a little too cloying for me.
Something about it was still calling my name and I decided to try EDT. The one I got is made in UK and it’s PERFECT.
I agree with resemblance with Burberry Brit EDT and Chanel Nº5 EDT. NOT dupe material by any means. But almond in Brit is definitely the same kind, although Libertine is “cleaner” and fresher. As far as Nº5 goes, it’s that same soapy fresh out of the shower feel.

This is burberry brit etds powder-ier twin…. I have both scents on for the purpose of this review. The almond note in both of these is EXACTLY the same. In fact… they seem so similar now that they’re drying down that I can’t distinguish which fragrance I put on which wrist…. for those afraid of discontinuation which is the first I have heard of it… try burberry brit edt. You might be in for a nice surprise.

I’ve got good news and bad news. Good news is that I bought 5 bottles 30 ml of Libertine EDP, the last ones from a local shop, for 4 pounds each! The bad news is that it is discontinued, hence the ridiculous price. If you love this one as much as I do, go get it while you can. I don’t understand why they discontinued this lovely perfume. It’s just so beautiful…

This is nothing like the original White Musk. On me this fragrance is similar to Katy Perry’s ‘killer queen’, perhaps a little lighter. I am not a fan of either scent. Maybe it is the nut note I don’t like. I tried the EDP version

  20. :

It’s a light and sweetish version of musk. It can be a very good starting point for musks as musks are usually too strong at first, specially when you go from sweet scents towards something completely different, but it’s not the case for this perfume. Very nice, and it lasts long on the skin.

Found it was on sale for £4 and couldn’t even be bothered to buy it then as I simply couldn’t smell it at all. Shame as the notes look great and I like musk…

  22. :

I used to own the EdT, which I liked but found the longevity not very good and the scent itself slightly too “thin”. I found the EdP in store again during their sale last week and managed to try it. Now, that’s better! The scent is stronger, smokier at the beginning, but then dries down to a cozy sweet musk.
I would make a soothing and warming scent for fall and winter, also nice to use after a bath before going to sleep.
Long story short, I bought 60ml EdP, body lotion and body wash for around £12!

White musk libertine is really the white musk for me.
My problem with white musks in the past have been….too boring or too sweaty.
This fragrance smells hugely like white musk but it’s those little extras that makes this musk stand out and please me. This fragrance is intimate smelling but in a girly, clean way. I mostly get a rose and honey smell. I wish I could smell the whipped cream as much as other people do. Maybe it adds a smoothness to the scent but I can’t really pick it up individually. Anyone who knows me and my taste would get that it’s up my alley. Not surprisingly I’ve gotten gifted with this scent twice.
Bonus, the bf really likes it.

the whole line is marked down in the body shop’s sale. it’s either discontinued or going to get a make-over…
if you love it, you might want to stock up! it’s currently half price (July 2015)

A blind buy with no regrets. On my skin, this smells like a warm steamy bathroom, when you’ve showered with Dove, brushed your teeth, and opened the door to a waft of cool fresh air. An inexpensive beauty, perfect for warm days.

I have the EDP and I adore it, it’s one of my all time favorite scents. I think TBS have a lot of nice scents, but most of them are one-dimensional and don’t last very long (many of them also smell vaguely like hairspray). White Musk Libertine isn’t like that. It lasts very long on my skin, starting out as a heavy musk and rose scent and eventually ending in a very sweet cream and honey.
When I was 11 I used to go to this alternative shop that sold crystals and tarot cards – this perfume smells exactly like that shop, it reminds me of incense.

Used to own the EDP, now own the EDT. Both are impressive. I wear this when I want a more refined and less in-your-face scent, something a little less sweet than my usual daytime perfumes. This scent is clean and pleasant, great for the daytime.

I own the EDT. I got myself a 100ml bottle some months back because it was 70% off. I liked it okay (definitely much better than the original WM), and wore it a bunch of times in winter for running errands or just to smell nice.
But now that the weather is getting warm, I like this so much more! Wow! In winter this scent was just a pleasant light sweet musk, nothing gourmand, but now that it’s warmer, I can smell every single note listed…amazing! And yum! Never noticed how soft, sweet and creamy WML edt is until now, what a gorgeous blend. It is definitely something for the spring-summer months. I have no problems with the projection, I can still clearly smell it on myself a couple hours later, and it lasts around 5 hours on me, longer on my clothes and hair…not bad for the price. Not bad at all.
I’m so impressed by it that I am getting another large bottle and the body lotion as well, it’s going to be my signature for spring-summer 2015. It’s the perfect warm weather scent for a gourmand lover like me (and yes, I do happen to enjoy soft, clean musks too, so it’s a perfect marriage!).

I love this soft, sweet and musky scent. One of my favorites for casual, every day wear. For some reason it reminds me of sipping Scuppernong wine on a hot, lazy, Southern day.

Definitely a super light musk. Its a subtle scents. Its very safe scents to wear any time on any day. But I personally love to wear it after a night time shower before bed. its light, refreshing, and relaxing. Dry down is very pretty. Kinda powdery but i detect the whip cream and rose. Longevity..oh boy dont ask. I sprayed it around 6pm today, and 5hours later, i can still smells it on me.

I quite like this! When I first tried it, I wasn’t impressed because I thought it smelled like baby powder, and nothing else. Having given it a proper second try, though, I smell so much more. I get a much foodier impression, and while I can’t say that I eat Turkish delight enough to really know if I’m smelling it or not, I smell something nutty (toasted almost?) and creamy behind the cleaner, soapier musk. The lasting power and projection have also exceeded my expectations. Sillage is soft to moderate, and it lasts me probably a good 5-6 hours. I agree that it’s not really a statement fragrance, but it strikes me as quite versatile, and I’m considering investing in the solid perfume version to test against my EDP sample. Many thanks to RkrChk for giving me the chance to try this one again!

I don’t like honey in perfumes, but as this is overpowered by Turkish lukum smell, I can take it. I bought the 10 ml bottle as i like switching my perfumes all the time and do not plan to buy more. Sweet, cute, inoffensive. Not much.

Got this in the mail today. Love it!Very soft and sweet. From start to finish, its a creamy fruity blend of sweetness.

  35. :

I was first sent a sample of this by the generous Claerwen. It smelt sweet, slightly musky, milky and creamy, with a prominent turkish delight note (the pink ones!). The honey was definitely present, but I got no nuttiness from the almond note. In the drydown, there was a classic powder smell, only the feeling was not powdery (does anyone else understand what I’m trying to say?).
I liked it and thought it would be nice as a comfort scent, but finally dismissed it as it seemed quite simple.
Today I smelt it on my hairdresser, and realized it really is very warm and comforting, with the kind of sweetness that leaves you yearning for more.
I want to buy it (I was thinking of getting the solid perfume) and wear it at home, as a cozy scent!

I recently wandered into my local Body Shop and tested White Musk Smoky Rose, which appealed to me because it reminds me a little of Tresor Midnight Rose, which I LOOOVE, and decided to try White Musk Libertine on my other wrist.
I wasn’t expecting to like Libertine as much as I did, for some reason, and thought that Smoky Rose was my favourite. Now I think they’re both equally good. Libertine is fresher, clean, innocent smelling and reminds me a little of Bath & Body Works Sea Island Cotton but is, luckily, less synthetic smelling. It’s so clean smelling it reminds me a little of fabric softener or dryer sheets but that’s not a bad thing and for anyone who gravitates towards cleaner, soft smelling perfumes Libertine might really appeal.
A friend of mine who smelled Libertine on my wrist preferred the Smoky Rose but I’m still in two minds about which of the two I prefer. I’m hesitating to buy either of these though as so far when I’ve tested them I find they fade really quickly and I can barely smell them after a very short time. Still, if I could find a way to make Libertine last longer I’d definitely consider buying a bottle because it’s such a nice clean, soft perfume and easy to wear day or night.

I need to smell this again for sure. I dislike candy factory smells and I’m not attracted by whipped cream as a scent or milky scents at all, but I tried this one in a shop and I was positively impressed. It’s sweet but not that sweet. I was overwhelmed by Red Musk on the other arm and Libertine went a little shadowed, but it kept sending signals.
I found it longlasting and pleasant with little airy touches. It smells girlish and gentle enough but it’s not a subtle scent. I liked the floral notes and wished that the honey was a little stronger. I definetely have to test it on its own.
I’m only sad that all TBS smell better on paper than on my skin.

What an odd bird! Freshly spritzed, it sang loudly of what I expected- white musk sweetened with honey and cream- perfect for me as I love musks, but the Body Shop’s White Musk is a bit sharp for me.
    But then…
Not even a *minute* later, my husband asked if I had sprayed, of all things, Poison! Sometimes his interpretations of fragrances completely baffle me, but in this case, he was at least a little bit right!
I got the gist of Poison, minus the parts that make it the smoky mystical brew that its whole self is- just the tuberose and plum, mainly, but definitely enough to give the impression of Poison… and… Ivory soap?
Yep, watered-down Poison and Ivory soap. For a couple of hours, more Poison than Ivory, then mostly Ivory in the hour-long drydown, and now at the tail-end of things (a whole 3 hours later) just the fintest trace of soap if I bury my face in my wrist.
Sillage is a bit more assertive than I expected, longevity is just about as brief as I expected… Poison and Ivory Soap blend? Not *at all* what I expected.
Nice, though. I think my sister-in-law will like it more than I do, when she gets it for Christmas. 🙂

I honestly did rush to the nearest The Body Shop store right after I opened this page and saw there’s whipped cream on the notes and then the reviews didn’t really matter anymore cos must smell it myself.
I always liked the idea of cream and milk notes but sadly it’s difficult to get access to perfumes with those notes here in my country. And that’s why I got really excited for this one, it’s accessible. Yay!
Now the Libertine, it smells like the TBS white musk but slightly sweeter, and I find it more pleasant than the regular white musk which can be a little strong in the beginning. Libertine is a yummy sweet musk. Needless to say, I got it right then and there.
As with many other TBS fragrance, the lasting power of this one is weak. Maybe with the body lotion this will last longer. I’m still happy with it. Plus I like the bottle.

I wrote a review on this a while back and at the time of my first testing, it smelled like a musty floral to my nose, almost like aldehydes were there. Very strange, I know.
I since retested it couple of more times and actually changed my mind-it smells like spicy floral with musk and some sweetness-but I still can’t smell all the sweet notes in it.
To me, this reminds me of “Lovely” by SJP but sweeter. Don’t ask, that’s what my nose smells. I ended up getting a small bottle of this and quite enjoy wearing it now. Lasting power is far superior to many expensive perfumes-I sprayed one spray before I went to bed and there was still a hint of it in the morning. It smells much more expensive than it is.

I can not believe how huge the sillage is in this ! And the longevity OF THE SILLAGE… I wish all my perfumes had this kind of sillage. This is usually too sugary for me, but sometimes the combination of musk and overly sweet that this has makes me feel cozy and at home. I don’t smell honey in this tho. To my nose it smells like powdered sugar. this is Expensive Musk scented Lokum-candies (on sale)!
I’m not sure if it’s a wrong thing to do but I love spraying this on our towels. Better than any scented fabric softener.
But on skin I use it maybe twice a year.
I would love to have scented candles with this scent !!!

I have a 10 ml travel spray of the EDT, and I like it! It’s a bit elusive though; I’ve been wearing it for a couple of days in a row now, trying to pinpoint my opinion, but I think it’s just one of those scents you can’t really smell on yourself after a couple of minutes, even though the smell is actually still pretty strong (or maybe I just have a cold). From time to time I do get wafts of it, but they’re different every time, so it’s hard to describe!
Two constants remain throughout for me: musk and (whipped) cream. They’re the heart of this scent, and complement each other beautifully; it’s a soft, creamy, sweet musk, not harsh or intimidating at all, but not cloying either. Then a more candy-like sweetness appears that I guess could be turkish delight, although the dominant presence of musk and cream make it stop short of becoming a typical loukhoum fragrance or even very gourmand at all. Then, most puzzlingly, there are also short moments when the musk retreats completely into the background and all I smell is a delicious honey scent; but when I recover from my surprise and smell again, it’s back to normal, so I might have imagined that.
Longevity isn’t great, but that too could just be that cold or that elusive quality.
All in all, I like this very much. Especially when those wafts come up, and all the components come together and it’s just soft and sweet and delicious and cozy; not so much when I have to bury my nose in my wrist to smell anything at all. I’ll have to see if this keeps happening!

Okay, WML EdT is now officially my favorite scent from The Body Shop. It has drawn a few unexpected compliments so far and is surprisingly comfortable enough to wear even in the middle of this hellish summer heat. Sweet like honey, smooth as cream, yet tender as a rose petal and light as a feather. Wonderful cheapie, especially for Turkish-Delight fans.
Glad you are loving your purchase Raw Umber, and beautiful review!
update: I got to try the solid cream perfume version of this scent, and I was shocked that it smelled exactly like powdered milk paste! See, I have been using generic milk powder as a face mask for years (sometimes I actually do add in some honey, and/or rose water instead of plain water), and that’s exactly what it smells like, not more, not less. After an hour it starts to smell more like the Edt but much longer lasting, yet more faint (no sillage). So EdT still wins for me.

Notes are perfect and unfortunately, the perfume is not. It smells like rose petals mixed with baby powder, powdered sugar and powdered milk. Too much powder causes dusty feeling which gives a terrible headache. This perfume could be wonderful if the dust note wouldn’t exist. However, i like this sometimes.

White Musk Libertine edt is a subtly sexy matte finish of a scent. It smells like beachy sun warmed skin, a pile of fluffy white feathers, and a hint of powdery rosewater Turkish Delight. Definitely not too sweet. It’s sweet like skin is naturally sweet.
I think the key to its addictive beauty is that it HINTS at gourmand, it hints at floral, but it never develops into a full-on expression of either, and instead retains its light, airy, amorphous cloud-like personality, making one want to always inhale more.
It’s a skin scent after the first hour but it is absolutely gorgeous in the most delicate way. It’s light enough for Summer, but works all year around. The fluffiest elegant fragrance I know. Somewhat against my will I have fallen hopelessly in love with it; basically the opposite experience of those reviews that begin with, “I tried so hard to like this, but-”
Thanks to CozyCat for her awesome review!

A friend of mine got herself the EDP, and when she wears it she leaves a very lovely light trail of scent: sweet, creamy, musky honey-rose, abit fresh. It’s feminine and sweet but not cloyingly so. Subtly gourmand. Perfect for everyday wear in spring and mild summer days…quite safe and very pretty. I would compliment someone wearing this. Budget friendly too. A nice offering from The Body Shop.
I guess it’s not as close-to-the-skin as I once thought when I tested it on myself a couple years earlier (my 1st review is somewhere below).
edit: wearing it again on my skin, not gourmand at all for the 1st hour, just a faint sweetish musky scent…the drydown is like a completely different scent on my skin and it gets sweeter, much prettier.
edit x2: have been wearing it often these days, and realize that when spraying more (rather than just 1 or 2 ‘test’ sprays), I get the sweet soft gourmand notes from the beginning…love it, got a bottle, so easy to wear and cuddly, feminine, great for everyday.
edit x3: forgot to mention that I accidentally purchased the EDT instead of EDP, so EDT is the one I have been wearing often…the EDT is abit less musky and more freshly sweet, but only lasts about 3 hours and is very faint after that.
edit x4: tried the edp again, and I prefer the fresher/sweeter edt even though the edp lasts a few hours longer. Edp is definitely muskier and less ‘delicate’, maybe better for cooler days. Edt just smells so good, I don’t care that it disappears alot sooner than I’d like. I’ll just wait for sales to get a 100ml bottle of it.

Such a beautiful scent to wear when I’m feeling exhausted. Exhausted from over-smelling and over-wearing. It’s called ‘olfactory exhaustion”, I think? I’m normally a florals girl, mostly roses and white flowers, and I’ve been wearing a lot of powerful fragrances lately. Today I just woke up feeling… not up to it. But I can’t go without perfume, I feel naked. So I grabbed this and now, 2 hours on… it is wondrous.
It’s very linear on me, hasn’t changed much since the initial application, though maybe I can say that it loses a bit of the initial sugar-sweetness as it dries down to a more skin-sweetness. Slightly melancholic powdery sweetness, like the memory of a baby now grown up.
I remember when I first bought it, I was disappointed because I couldn’t really ‘get’ the rose (and I was after the slightly floral quality) and I felt it was just too light and feathery, but this is exactly what I am thankful for now. That light feathery sweetness is so comforting and relaxing… and I really feel like I’m taking a break from perfume… with this perfume.
I do vaguely get whiffs of a dessert-y something… which I assume is marshmallows or Turkish Delight, I can’t pin it down, but this is predominantly a very comforting, light, powdery, somewhat creamy-sweet scent on me. Very “huggable”, if you know what I mean.

This one was my signature perfume for a long time. I think it still smells wonderful. I also own the showergel and the bodylotion and together with the perfume they last long.
The perfume itself smells of musk and rose to me. The longevity it moderate, perfect for a spring/summer day, although I also use this one in autumn and winter!

Totally agree with Scwets about this scent. If you want more richness and complexity, go for the solid. I don’t know why this is the case. So weird! But in the solid I can definitely smell the almond, loukhoum, etc. Perfect for spring and summer, and you can carry it with you. Nice longevity, too.

Definitely a candied white musk, with almonds. Not candied almonds–nothing warm and nutty here–but milky, creamy and sweet. It reminded me of Ellen by Ellen Tracy, which is an almond-floral scent, but muskier. Libertine is not as rich and musky as the lovely white musk; it’s much lighter, and smells “pink” if you will. Pleasant, but too light and sweet for me. Longevity 5+ hrs, sillage moderate.

I am wearing this fragrance right now, and I can smell all of the notes, but I had to spray a lot on me. the sillage on me is virtually non-existent. The longevity is at about two hours at best. It is a very nice scent, but simply incapable of holding up.

Mist: very airy like quality this version gave me a headcahe and appeared to be stronger than the edt.
The turkish delight note shows up here compared to the edt, but ever so slightly.
EDT: I liked this version as the musk and sweetness is toned down compared to the richer EDP. I dont notice much of the turkish delight note.
The edt doesnt seem to have much sillage and is very close to the skin.
EDP: musky and the turkish delight note is much apparent compared to the edt. The edp gave me a headache.
Perfume solid: I bought this – very different from the above versions.
The scent is sharp and musky, very sexy and sweet. The shimmer is too white but i really cant complain. Super sweet and pretty packaging.

It reminds me of Gucci Eau de Parfum – albeit lighter, more one-dimensional and much much cheaper version. It’s a very sweet and clean scent. Easy, wearable and warm, perfect for fall or winter days. And yes, it seems to be more expensive, more luxurious than the price would suggest (you get much more than you paid for).
Not much to write home about BUT considering the price it is a very nice surprise.
It doesn’t change a lot (hence one-dimensional) when you wear it, but everything is blended rather nicely. On me/on my skin there is almost no rose noticeable, it’s more just musky whipped cream with a hint of almond-ish wood. I really like that sweet powdery feeling it leaves me with.
It’s my everyday scent, perfect for fall and winter. For me it goes rather well with jeans and cashmere-blend sweaters, simple jackets and snoods. Easy and uncomplicated.
The scent doesn’t last on me very long (3.5-4.5 hours), yet on clothes you can smell it a bit longer.

On me this is a rosy white musk with honey.. And didn’t agree with my chemistry.
Luckily it doesn’ stay either. But my mother in law loves this so much in fact this is her fav from bodyshop, and actually it does smell good on her. So don’t bother about someone’s opinion for anything, you have to test it on yourself to know how it’s gonna be like on you.

This is a sweet blend of musk, almond and whipped cream. I just love it and I want to eat it. Smells so yummy. I usually wear it at night or during the cold winter days. I would not wear it in summer. Reminds me of Intimately Beckham but less floral. On me it lasts for hours, today I sprayed it at 7 in the morning and now its 4 and I can still smell hints of it.

I bought this with my last order of the original White Musk out of sheer curiosity. It was on sale for $10, so how could I say no?
After trying White Musk Libertine, I can say pretty positively that it isn’t really for me. Even though it is described as being sweet, it was much sweeter even than I had expected it to be. I don’t get much of the almond, which is a note I happen to love, until the perfume is already only a whisper on my skin. It really doesn’t last on me at all. Within only 20 minutes I could hardly smell it…
I think this has the potential to be a creamy, delicious scent on another person, but it sadly doesn’t work on me… Maybe I will put it away and break it out sometime in the future. Oh well, can’t win em all 🙂
