A very nice fresh cardamom scent with excellent longevity and very affordable.
Easier to wear than the original Vermeil pour homme.

I picked-up a bottle of Vermeil Pour Homme last Fall and fell in love with it. I found it to be an excellent, yet inexpensive, fragrance that was packed in a interesting bottle resembling a lighter that dispenses juice from the side. Moreover, the bottle came tucked inside a flimsy plastic coffret bordering on cheap or cheap-chic. Vermeil White shares the identical presentation but in white an not red/brown.
I had no idea what to expect when I applied this fragrance since no notes or reviews have been posted. I purchased it mainly because it was selling for $9, with free-shipping, on Amazon. In a nutshell, it’s a floral, wood & musk type scent with an aquatic feel (water/sky notes?). It’s also green…not a bright-green feel one experiences from the presence of aldehydes, but rather a lush vegetal vibe. Although not unpleasant, I just did not warm-up to this fragrance. It had a slightly herbaceous vibe that was was a bit off. It wasn’t a pleasant cured herbal smell…rather, it was the smell of green herbs planted in dirt.
I typically don’t care for many aquatic fragrance because the beach/salt note often comes across smelling like cucumber salads on my skin. I don’t get that vibe here….but I don’t like this fragrance for other reasons. Vermeil White performed moderately on my skin. Overall, I’m teetering between like and dislike. This one is no Vermeil Pour Homme.
