Like its twin Rose Gold, White Gold is also uninspired. Started out pedestrian, and definitely felt fatigued and unpleasant along its uneventful journey. Where was lily of the valley? ‘Palisander Rosewood?’ Really? Vanilla? Just some synthetic musk.
Jivago excels at pyrotechnical packaging. And that’s just what I paid for. In my opinion, so far the only star that’s emerged from this house is 24k Gold.

This was a blind buy, I paid about $60 aud for 75 mls.
Firstly, the packaging is stunning and unlike any I’ve seen before.
I was then blown away by the bottle with it’s gorgeous White Gold flakes and heavy glass stand.
It’s pretty, but on me the florals disappeared quickly to just leave a pleasant musk. I’m glad I didn’t pay full price, but I’m happy that I have a pretty bottle and wearable fragrance.
