Description

White Feather is an opulent white floral fragrance built around Indian jasmine, gardenia, vanilla and other fine aromatic spices.

Note from the brand: “White Feather is an exquisite, lush, sensual, narcotic white floral that begins with a base of Estate Vanilla, our house vanilla with notes of raw vanilla pods, vanilla infused sugar, cream and vanilla extract. To this, a generous amount of Indian jasmine absolute accented with EOs of ylang ylang, sandalwood, spices and more, our house made precious gardenia enfleurage from our homegrown flowers, saffron CO2, aged patchouli, a variety of attars, amber and a very light addition of oud has been added.”

The nose behind this fragrance is Angela St.John.

Thank you so much for adding this wonderful perfume to your database. I am not much for white or yellow flowers, and I can’t really say I’m super keen on Jasmine. But this floral composition is just amazing. It opens on my skin with strong spices of saffron and Sandalwood–spicy woods. Then there is a burst of Gardenia followed by Jasmine and vanilla with a musky sweet incense. It is truly unusual and is not like any kind of Gardenia or Jasmine perfume that I’ve tried before. It is definitely not clean, soapy, or powdery, but rather something soft and sensual. While I don’t think it’s office friendly if you have a heavy hand on the trigger, I do think it can be worn during the day as it is highly comforting in addition to being gently romantic. At night this is again a sexy, yet calm and soothing lovely scent. I really wasn’t sure if I’d like it so I ordered several samples, and then knew I’d have to get the full bottle. I am so glad I did.
This could be classified under white or yellow flowers but it could also be classified under “Florientals.” Do try!
