Pretty much exactly what it says on the tin; 60% roses, 40% leather. If you happen to like those scents then you will probably like this perfume. The roses aren’t overpowering and heady, and the leather doesn’t make it too masculine and dirty. A good, clean, straightforward scent.

I am also just getting a rose scent, without any leather. Its quite a pretty rose, but not exactly what I was hoping for.

my first sniff of BPAL, this stuff is ridiculously potent. Whip I have been wanting to try for a while. Very smooth overall and a great scent. Unfortunately, it has a oil vibe you burn, not wear. You know what I mean?

Just simply the scent of smooth black leather and fresh red roses. Beautiful! This doesn’t have any dirty/earthy or spicy notes, and it lasts a long time. This fragrance is perfect for when you need a confidence boost.

i love leather and rose but sadly whip just smells weird on me.i think it’s the leather maybe. wanda works much better and is more grapey/winey but has leather and rose in it as well. this was one of the early BPAL scents i tried and i remember being so disappointed that it didn’t work with my skin chemistry, because i can imagine it being quite beautiful, seductive and unique.

I love leather scents and was somewhat disappointed by this one. I get mostly roses and hardly any leather, not what I expected. It´s still good though.

These oils are for making a statement. This one is straight forward and bold. Just Leather and Rose. Mistress in charge? Absolutely. The oil quality is good. No “off” or dirty chemical smells that you often get with cheap oils. Though for the quality, the price is quite small. The rose is red and fresh, the leather is black. Special occasion. I do not wear this for my enjoyment as I do not care for roses. I wear it for the affect. My favorites from this line are Bastet, cherry almond saffron amber – YUM. I get a lot of compliments when I wear it. The other is Grandmother of Ghosts, soft woody flowers, very feminine. Long lasting but close to the skin, little projection.
