اولین اسپری تنها بوی بالنگ میاد و اندکی لیمو که تا حداقل پنج دقیقه این بو حاکم بر فضا و البته نت اصلی عطره.اگر عطرو بااین بسنجید و برای تابستون بخواید خوب میتونه چیزی در حد کارهای نیش نما باشه با قیمت پونصد تومن به پول الان اما اینطور نیست و نصف اینم نمی ارزه چون فقط چنددقیقه لازم تا شامه ای که حداقل در عمرش برای ده تا عطر دست تو جیب شده،و نه ریویوی عطر ندیده رو نوشته باشه،بفهمه با یک کار کاملا سنتتیک مواجهیم! سنتتیک بودن عطر بیشتر از لاوندر اونو به اصطلاح صابونی کرده گرچه از این اصطلاح بیزارم.دقيقا چیزی در حد عطرهایی مثل برایت نرولی فراری که همین الانم بیشتر از دویست تومن نمی ارزه اما خوب هستند شامه هایی که اونو با پورتوفینو تام فورد یکسان می گیرند و در این حوزه عطر کی میتونه ایراد بگیره?! هیشکی! خرتوخر واقعی! منتهی شما اول اینو بو کنید بعد فقط یک ربع بهش مهلت بدید و اگر اون حس پلاستیکی صابونی که ناشی از شیمیایی بودن موادشه متوجه شديد بدونید یک عطر نیش اونم سیترویسی و آروماتیک نباید از چنین موادی چنان استفاده ای بکنه که فقط ماندگاری و پخش بمب شیمیایی داشته باشه! نمونه های سیترویسی طبیعی زیاده و همشونم دارای پرفورمنس متوسط هستند از برخی کارهای تام فورد تا لورنزو ویلورسی،زرجف،نیکلای و..
اما تعجب آخر خودمو پنهان نمیکنم که چطور فردی از یک برند هیچ کاریشو نداشته جز یوزو فو اونم دومیل دستریز و از برند دیگه هرگز در عمرش یک میل هم نخریده و صرفا یکبار جایی درحد یک پاف تست کرده چنين رسالتی واسه خودش قائل شده که در هر صفحه ای اونارو بکوبه?!

It opens as a fresh citrus. Very reminiscent of perfumes like Monsieur Balmain. The other ingredients kick in after a while but by that time it becomes very weak. I have tried several Le Galion fragrances on paper and it fades faster than the others. It smells very nice but longevity seems quite poor considering the price.

The initial blast of citrus reminds me of the original YSL Pour Homme. This is followed by a combination of lavender and vetiver, all quite soft and subtle. This lasted a dismal 4 hours on me despite spray both wrist, chest, neck and back of the neck.
I tend to lean towards stronger lavender and vetiver scents such as Caron Pour Un Homme or Chanel Sycomore or Encre Noir by Lalique.
Given the niche price and its misleading name “Whip”, one would expect something long lasting that smells animalic or leathery. None of that! It is simply fresh and soapy. There are certainly a million options out there for half the price.

This is my second review of a selection of perfume from the wonderful Le Galion house. This one, for men and women. Slightly masculine, but interesting.
The initial opening for me was a really bright citrus, and the same intriguing sparkle that I noticed in my first try at “Special for Gentlemen”. Lemons peek out as an elegant lavender nods it’s head. Cardamon and lavender join in as the fragrance warms on my wrists and neck.
After 5 minutes or so, I start to notice a zesty, spicy note and the fragrance changes again. I am surprised at how quickly this joyous perfume morphs into telling me that, “I am a strong woman who means business!”
It has a similar airy note like “Special for Gentlemen” and smells slightly salty – like clean sweat from a good workout. Now the spices are warming up – tarragon, faint, but insistent.
A very quick change again. Now it smells like a brand new, fine leather bag that I have stored away for better days. There is a tiny bit of sweetness to the very clean leather scent, but thankfully, nothing like the modern, sugar rush garbage that makes a popular bottle on our beauty store shelves.
At this point I went to work in the garden, pottering about for a few hours. The luscious scent is still on my wrists, despite washing up, washing and re-washing my hands and arms!
Dare I say this… at this point, it is reminiscent of spending a few hours in the arms of a very handsome man – naughty! Not a lot of imagination needed.
A beautiful creation. I did not expect anything like this when I spritzed this morning. How amazing is that?!!!

Whip has an opening that’s just like a refreshing citrus cologne (citron, bergamot, lemon verbena). It’s like splashing myself with lemon sorbet, just slightly greener. This citrus opening lasts about half an hour or so. By then, the woodier herbal notes of thyme, tarragon, and vetiver have come to the foreground, capturing the smell on your fingertips just after you’ve run your hand through the bushes of a typical herb garden. Whip is well made with good quality ingredients. It smells fresh, herbal and not muddy at all.

the resurrection of this French brand is the best news of the year. All their perfumes are really beautiful creations, delightfully classic. They compete with Guerlain quality or Rochas. Here in this case is very similar to Eau de Rochas. For me it’s even better.
