I get a nice blast of watermelon in the beginning, and then it turns very masculine on my skin. Smells almost like a cologne. As a gourmand lover, it’s not for me.

an absolute blast of spicy yet watery watermelon when first sprayed. sounds contradictory but that is what i get, like when watermelon is cut and it’s the smell of the watermelon’s watery juice left in the bowl. when it settles down it gets a very light scented perfumey watermelon smell to my nose with some green notes. pleasant, but not FB worthy for me. lasted about 3 hrs.

I applied 6 heavy sprays
0 – 1 min – 10 inch projection. A fresh watermelon comes out and I had high hopes…
1 min – 4 hours. 8 inch projection. The watermelon very quickly goes and the underlying herbal, orange comes in and dominates and this is not nice to my personal taste. It does smell like bug spray; alas I couldn’t escape that thought..
4 hours – 6 hours. 5 inch projection and decent performance which surprised me. Linear now and gagging. I found this fragrance very familiar, and finally I recalled what it was – this is a doppelganger of Moschino Friends for men, without the projection
6 hours – 10 hours. Close to skin but strong skin scent.
10 seconds of wonderful watermelon, but then over 9 hours of dislike

This reminds me of a cross between Escada Cherry in the Air and Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Summer. I adore both those fragrances, so this is right up my alley! It’s very fresh, vibrant, flirty, and young. There’s also a hint of aquatic notes in here, and while I’m usually not a fan of aquatics, it works here. I have a little sample now but I can’t wait to order a full size!

I totally love this. It smells genuinely of watermelon, and I also get the green mandarin, vetiver and green tea. So fresh and airy. I think what some of the negative reviewers of this fragrance are getting is the strong scent of galbanum – it is a dominant note here, as it is in Cristalle and No.19 and Bel Respiro – it has much in common with those three fragrances, the galbanum makes it quite green and cold, ice-cool, almost brittle. Delicious. Wear it and feel like an ice queen for the day… :))

I simply love perfumes with Watermelon top notes. I adored New West (Aramis) in the 90’s, and then L’Imperitirice from D&G. I love the freshness of Acqua Di Gio, and Acqua di Gioia, although the last one didn’t really get the ‘wow’ factor for me. When wearing any of these fragrances I felt fresh, clean, ‘alive’. I got so many compliments from others about these perfumes too. But, alas, they are dying. I cannot seem to get a fresh bottle of L’Imperitrice – so I guess it’s being discontinued like most of the fragrances I love for day/summer wear.
Then I saw that Shay and Blue had a Watermelon fragrance!!! I love the idea of supporting a smaller fragrance house, plus it’s here in the UK. I couldn’t get a sample to sniff in any stores locally, so I ordered one of their tiny fragrance samples. Actually, I ordered 3, as two others sounding devine too. A £5 price tag per sample means it is not cheap, and I was to discover I should have saved my money….
I’ll just talk about Watermelon. After one spritz, it smelled chemically, but under those chemicals just a hint of watermelon. I genuinely thought there may be good things to come over the next half an hour. Sadly, it remained chemically to the dry down, and in the end I had to shower to try to remove it. It has quite a lot of staying power, but just overwhelmingly chemical from start to finish. So, so disappointed…..

I love this perfume on first application it was light and summery with a hint of watermelon and a pleasant sweetness. However, the dry down on me is NOT nice reminds me of cotton candy, mothballs, and baby powder.

I got my sample from Indigo also. This is a fragrance that no one will dislike because it smells like summer but not too many will love because of the poor performance as DHIguy stated. A lovely pick me up sort of fragrance that oozes melons and most likely calone which is not listed. Similar to ADG and 360 Red for Men.

Watery watermelons is exactly what this fragrance smells like. For the most part is very linear on my skin. I get 2-3 hours with 5 sprays on skin. You can and should imo spray your clothes to get better performance. Very nice for the summer. You can go nuts spraying this because it is so light. Anywhere from 7 to 10 sprays will totally be fine. I bought a 30 ml bottle and it’s going to run out quick because of how often I spray it. You will smell unique with this on. Probably the best watermelon scent today. For $55 shipped, you can grab a 30 ml bottle from indigo perfumes. This oozes summer.

Probably the best watermelon scent I have tried.
Watermelon does dominate the scent. It gets sweeter as it wears too. I actually REALLY like it! a LOT! The mandarin note is noticeable. Honeysuckle is light but there.
It is fresh, watery, sweet, green. It skirts the line from being an aquatic scent to being quite gourmand. Definitely a scent easy to wear. Would be GREAT in summer heat.
It is a bit similar to Aqua di Gioia in a way, except AdG is lemony splash of mint, sweet, aquatic fresh, hint of woody. Where Watermelons is WATERMELON, watery, sweet, fresh, hint of woody. I think the Watermelons might actually be sweeter and last much longer as well.
I do get the reference of watermelon Now & Laters candy as mentioned by the review below (btw, which I LOVE). It s not too candy sweet tho so don’t let that put you off.
Def can unisex easily worn by either men or women.

Smells like a watermelon Now & Later(U.S. candy). Not bad but I feel as if they could have included something else to make it shine as the other notes are not detected. Good scent but nothing to go crazy over, IMO.

I had this in my collection for less than 24 hours. The opening is pleasant, yet it had something in the background that smelled very offensive to my nose. I recieved the similar vibe from acqua di gio essenza. This watermelon became very cheap smelling on my skin. it actually gave me a headache. I can see how other people would love this fragrance but it doesn’t fit my style. overall 4 out of 10
