Wardasina, although marketed as a women’s fragrance, can be worn, more easily by men. I would say it is unisex because if you are a women who loves the smell of tobacco, saffron and especially rose, then this is for you. It is heady and has a luxurious feel. One to two sprays are enough for day time wear, although it may be too much for a conservative office. You can add another spray for going out in evenings. The perfume lasts a good ten to twelve hours and is not shy of announcing its presence. It is pretty expensive at $350 for 100ml, but with the longevity and sillage, it will last you for years.
I am a woman in late thirties and I wear two sprays to office, in winter (my office space is tolerant), I tend to move towards lighter and fresher perfumes in summer. And the best time to wear it is amongst friends at a barbeque and yes, also for dinning out.

I’ve never smelled this particular one but very interested. The best rose frag I have and ever smelled was Lyric Man by Amouage. Wonder if this rivals that. Hell, or even Dior’s Oud Ispahan. I love rose frags and always on the hunt for them.

You would think that for £250+ you would at least get something that has a smell. But no. There’s nothing. This is a non-existent fragrance.

I received my bottle yesterday, much anticipated delivery after the reviews here. Batch number 1508050A. Wore this one out to dinner last night some 2 hours after application, if you are in a warm environment the projection is quite noticeable with several people commenting, with a 2 spray application. I would say 1 spray for dinner dates or occasion with a 3hr timeframe and cooler weather.
The opening immediately reveals the tobacco and vanilla, although the perception for me dies down of these notes after 30 min to deep rose and musk domination, the tobacco and cedar is still there toning the rose to a dark musky combination slightly powdery, woody and spicy.
This is a scent that I can see a mature female of brunette hair with dark brown eyes, self assured and confident, well dressed and spoken being able to wear. Without doubt an individual scent, not for the sheeple but for those who know where they are going with abundant knowledge and wisdom gained from where they have been.

This is the classiest rose scent I’ve perceived.
The rose and saffron combination is very regal ; has this aromatic spiceness , then the vanilla comes in thing to sweeten things just a tad bit; in fact it is barely noticeable.A true gentleman’s scent.
    Age: 24 above
Occassion: Night outs ( dates ,dinners , gala/balls)
Outfit: A suit , but with no tie.

Wardasina is practically a drug, I feel absolutely inebriated when I wear it. One of the finest and most beautiful scents I’ve ever tried. I typically don’t like rose bombs but the tobacco and patchouli really ground this. The saffron accent is perfection, and the creamy dry down is to die for.
Extremely mysterious, intoxicating and luxurious fragrance. It’s like walking across deep pile red velvet to ascend your throne. At midnight, of course.
The quality is outstanding. Longevity is incredible — it will last for almost a day on the skin; sometimes I can still smell it after I’ve had a bath. Sillage is a beast, just the way I like it. This is an opulent power fragrance meant to stun a whole room.
Someone mentioned it’s somewhat reminiscent of Marc Jacobs’ Decadence EDP, which I didn’t really notice until it was pointed out. It’s true! I love and own that scent, but Wardasina is in a completely different league. Much smokier than Decadence, which is on the sweeter side. If you really want to do your head in, lightly layer Decadence over Wardasina. I just did it myself and…oh my.
Wardasina’s only downside is the price tag, but it’s well worth saving up for. With this kind of longevity and sillage, a 100ml bottle will last for years.

Velvet burgundy suit next to a cuban cigar.
I sensed the velvet the first time i applied the sample on. It has that dark red roses sweetened by saffron and darkened by a Cuban cigar. It is quite a dark scene of powerful persona. Patchouli as well is there
This is quite elegant and heavy on the night scale.

this is a very unisex fragrance.
in fact , I personally think a man can rock this better.
this is one of the most sophisticated fragrances I have ever smelt in my life.
Very smooth and smoky rose with a hint of sweetness

Sospiro wardasina is a perfume I have been hearing for long time and impression I had made in my mind is a rose monster which is little sweet and projects like anything . I don’t know why that picture got build in my mind may be combination of my friends review plus how the bottle looks and also it is for some reason marketed to woman .
In Sospiro main notes are tobacco , saffron and rose with touch of spice and who ever marketed this for woman needs to get his or her head checked asap as this is one of the manliest fragrance I have smelled . As this was my first wearing I don’t want to go in depth on note breakdown and development as that is never fair to a perfume however let try to put this in simpler way . In the opening it kinds similar to incense rose but remove the incense and add Tobacco with rose and it stays like that for few hours and then it changes its texture I kept thinking for long that dry down is reminding me of something however it took me few hours to pin point . Guess what ? BLACK AFGANO
Yes it’s not exactly similar to afgano but still very similar and I was loving the drydown it was giving and it will be so great in winters . I will save my sample for winters now and this is a projection monster (24 hours type). This is very unlike Sospiro fragrance and more like tauer or nassamota fragrance IMO . 8.5/10

Super musky rose bomb. Smells oudy to me. Very intense, a little on the too much for me side.

Had I not read ClaireV’s review over on BN, I would seriously have wondered if the friend who had sent me his sample had somehow switched the labels by accident. However, reading Claire’s review, I am relieved to know that not only do we agree, but this is the correct scent I am now wearing as well as reviewing.
I was so looking forward to trying this, as I love rose and I love tobacco – how could this go wrong? Well, as Claire so aptly said, it sucks the air right out of the room! Right away, I was reminded of Dior’s Oud Ispahan (not a positive thing for me). This comparison unfortunately never really let up throughout the wearing. Even as I toiled moving heavy furniture, and working up a sweat, this scent was drier than a desert without it’s yearly rain. Some scents make me want to keep sniffing my wrist throughout the day and evening; this is not one of those.

I finally got hold of a sample and love it. The saffron, tobacco then rose are very up front. Most definitely an intense, rich creation made of good materials. The patch and musk really come to the fore after an hour or two. Tobacco hangs on right to the end. I was hoping to get more rose. It just proves again the importance of testing.
Moderate silage and longevity with this intense baccy creation.

So elegant and mysterious. Up front rose, but not in a confectionery way like some modern fragrances, but bold and deep and very adult. It’s not listed in the ingredients, but it definitely smells to me like there is oud in there and I find it to be very similar to Dior’s Oud Ispahan (but better).
I’m not permitted to wear perfume at work, however I was so excited to receive it that I sprayed a tiny bit on my hand before I went into cellar door to start my shift. My colleague said how good I smelled when I walked through the door and so I had to scrub it off before anyone else noticed it. Therefore it must have huge projection, and lasting power is easily 10 hours. All in all, a very satisfying swap. Thanks a million to MoreScentsThanDollars.

In a nutshell this is just a stunning masterpiece. A killer mode intoxicant that gets everyones attention.
Very beautiful and longlasting. This was the fragrance that made me seek other sospiro fragrances. Now I have Laylati and Capriccio, they are also good though they do not match Wardasina.
Very pricy but 2 puffs is all you need for the day.

This is more unisex than anything. It reminds me a bit of Potion Royal Black. It’s got cashmeran musk too, but not as much as PRB. I get an oud-ish element here that I don’t in PRB, though. To me this is more of a statement-making scent, because the notes are not as easily detected as a scent like Tobacco Vanille, for example. For personal enjoyment, you’d probably have to like cashmeran musk (or be anosmic to it). A very nice scent, the only issue being the price (for many of us). Something like Callgraphy Rose, perhaps layered with PRB or a similar, cashmeran-heavy scent, would cost a lot less and might satisfy those who like this sort of composition and can’t afford higher prices.

If I were to ever make a rose fragrance my signature scent this would be the one on that mantle. This has overtaken cruel intentions as my favorite rose fragrance to apply when I’m on an evening out with my wife. Perfectly blended sweet tobacco smoke he rolls with the dark Crimson rose andspicy sweet saffron blended together with a beautiful musk accord vanillic undertones in the cedar base.

I’ve been wearing this alot more to dissect it even more. Ok so let’s start this review.
When first sprayed you get a very prominent rose that feels somewhat powdery with just a tad of saffron i don’t detect much of it. About an hour into this frag you get the patchouli but not a dirty one it’s more of a note to give this frag that depth that it has.there’s also that very minimal cedar in the background lingering. The notes have vanilla listed and i still don’t get much of that. The tobacco it’s there it’s kind of a wet tobacco leaf because it’s not a dry one but it’s somewhat minimal or t very well blended with the musk. Not any animalic musk at all.all the ingredients listed are detected but none fight for the role because the role is already taken by the rose.
Projection on this is monstrous i wored it to work twice and both times the same co worker was about 15 ft from where i was and told me he can smell me and that is with 3 sprays one on the neck and one on each hand. Sillage is also pretty beast guaranteed people will know where you walked thru leaving your tail behind. Longevity is excellent i get around 10+ hours any given time.
9/10 in my book the point deducted is from the high price but it will last you for every since you don’t need much.

This is my kind of fragrance and so suited to New York winters. This frag is a bit reminiscent of Marc Jacobs Decadence since it has similar notes of rose patchouli saffron. This is a tad Oriental very aromatic and smoky. The tobacco and patchouli give it that smokiness I like. The rose and saffron here are velvety and deep not powdery or sweet. This is totally unisex and very musky at the end so it’s that perfect scent to spritz on your coat scarves or warm clothes in winter time. Smells a bit like dark chocolate or coffee too. It’s also a little mysterious, sexy and seductive but in a subtle way. It’s the kind of fragrance I love to smell on women who are admiring art in museums. Mature, yes but so not an old lady fragrance. This is for women who love smoky florals and Orientals. I have a girlfriend who is wearing this right now in Paris and she’s irresistible. I love the bottle and have mine back in New York waiting for me to spritz her on.

Been wearing wardasina alot this winter, and i tell you this is so good. When first sprayed, you get a blast of patchouli and saffron, but then that dries down and a lil and the rose comes into play. It’s kind of a a soapy and powdery Ay the same time. I get a very minimal amount of cedar but in the mid,i get more of it in the dry down with a dash of tobacco and i don’t get much vanilla our almost none i should say.a hint a musk to end the journey of wardasina.

The rose is too soapy for me….i was really hoping i would like it and even considered blind buying it. Thankfully i got a sample.
Quality is of the highest standard – can’t deny it, but it’s not for me.

This is nice. If you like black afgano with baby wipes and a hint of rose this will suit you perfectly. The sillage is abrasive and noticeable. Great for those looking for attention. Once again this has ridden the hypetrain but for the fragrance collector this is a must try.

This scent is magnificent. It is wealth in a bottle. The boozy rose with earthy pachouli sandalwood tobacco oud just take this scent to a higher level. It is a long lasting strong sillage type of scent. If going out and want to take anyone’s scent off the air wear this one and it will blast trough everyone elses scent. I wore this one night and a friend told me he could no longer smell his cologne because of mine. I think this is a must own and needs to carefully applied since it is beast mode.

Wardasina – Like a Nuclear bomb.
Magnificent beauty! What a fragrance this is..A very masculine take on rose that makes me wonder why it is categorized as “for women”. I find this very masculine due to the tobacco that exists throughout it’s life.
Yes, this is a rose scent, but the rose is paired with tobacco ,patchouli and spices (Saffron as per notes)..making it a semi dirty, semi clean scent. I like how Sospiro has managed to make a luscious interpretation of rose, keeping it right in the middle of the gender scale (there isn’t a scale as such, but just for representative purposes)
This is a mature scent imo, and one needs to be well dressed to do justice to it. Not a casual frag, this is something to be worn on occasions. (low points for versatility though)
In terms of performance, this is almost nuclear in strength. Never to be oversprayed, 1-2 sprays(from my decant) was enough for me to last for days at end.
A work of art, one needs to try it first and see if it justifies the hefty price tag it commands, as the definition of value depends from person to person. For me, my 10 ml decant shall suffice for a long time 🙂

    Carmen`s slap.
Amazing strong, arabian rose scent, THE BEST I’ve ever tried.
Even the “rose haters”, because of perfect rose and (dominant) tobacco combination, finds this perfume beautiful and intoxicating. It is somehow oriental nostalgic, yet its power lies more in urban feeling. It is not unusual, but transcendent usual and better known rose fragrances.
Pure elegance on the verge of sensuality. The paradox of dirtiness and cleanliness in one, is what it makes it so outstanding and seductive for any nose.
The only thing what bothers me is a price (300 euros for 100 ml) and nouveau riche bottle design. But because this perfume is true masterpiece I give:
    5/5

I received a large decant of Wardasina today and I was quick to spray it on my hand to see what it was all about. I am usually not a big fan of Roses as a note in fragrances but the Rose in Wardasina is superb in quality and very true. The initial blast was quite strong and the Patchouli was very big but then it quickly mellows down and the sweet Tobacco comes out. The dry down is heavenly for me as the Rose is not the prominent note anymore but a very well blended sugary Tobacco, quite powdery and rosy at the same time. As I said, the quality is definitely there and the lasting power is excellent. A very elegant and luxurious fragrance, highly recommended!

to those who already own this, or have experience in the scent, please offer your review here about this fragrance. It saddens me to see the paucity for an amazing scent.
This is perhaps one of the best marriage between tobacco and rose there is. If you enjoy the two accord, just buy this blind. You wouldnn’t regret it.
Price point wise is expensive, around 3+usd/ml from Min NY. But you pay for quality; projection longeivty is to the max. There is nothing similiar to this juice.
    Easily top 5 right here.

I had sampled Sospiro Duetto first and loved it, had it on my buy list, but 3 weeks ago a friend sent me like 10 mils of this juice and i was bought on the first spray!! Wow!!
I always listen to my wow factor because every now and then you come into a fragrance that ust blows you away.
The first thing i got was a spicy tobacco note, also get a smoky, woody vibe, the safron and patchouli and a rose note very diffrent than your Tom Fod Noir de Noir or Le Labos Bai Rose, this is a more subdued rose never the less blends beautifully with the rest of the notes, i also get a strong oud but there is no oud listed so its gotta be the musk and patchoulli.
The projection is extremely potent, have gotten several remarks like smells great and very strong. longevity is 8 plus hours for me, i have taken a shower and i can still smell it on me.
This is a very unique and exotic scent, perfect for autum or winter night out use. I love this juice so much after my decant was done i caught my self sniffing the empty decant, this is a very addictive juice, lovely, exotic i gotta rate it a 10 in my book. Very seldom i get wowed by a fregrance but Wardasina did just that and more

I cannot even begin to describe the beauty that Wardasina is (but I try anyway) – it is a wonderful perfume and on my wish list for sure!
Wardasina is rather linear on my skin.
The most prominent notes are tobacco, saffron, patchouli and rose.
The tobacco note is spicy and has a touch of leather to it, the saffron is full, round, spicy and warm and gives an oriental feel to the overall scent.
The patchouli note is very earthy and full, it is the complete opposite of the “dirty” patchoulis we experience so often these days.
The perfect addition is to these notes is the most beautiful rose accord: A dark, yet transparent, ripe and full-bodied rose.
These four notes (which do not belong to my favourite notes at all) are blended perfectly and have become “one”!
The intensity of the fragrance as a whole does not change much on my skin; but I have the feeling that these four notes become more and less prominent within the composition – as if they moved around in circles.
Wardasina feels grown-up, timeless and elegant.
It is not a perfume that one gets as a present, it is a perfume that is chosen!
The fragrance lasts 12+ hours on my skin, it even survived an entire night.
    The sillage is very pleasant:
Someone who is close to me can smell Wardasina but it does not fill entire ball rooms.
I would say the scent cloud projects as far as from driver to passenger in a car where it will leave a soft trail behind.
    What can I say?
I will buy myself a bottle.
Not today or tomorrow but Wardasina will be mine!
